Why is anyone surprised? I have repeatedly written in many blog posts that Tinubu's appointments were geared towards saving his back. He is too concerned with not being stabbed in the back. That's why Tinubu did not flinch about the profligate expenditure on SUVs for National Assembly members. The current president is a wheeler and a dealer. He is not the transformational Messiah who will set Nigeria's feet on the much-needed righteous path. 2024 will be the year of mind- numbing revelations in Nigeria.
