Just got the ultimate axe bundle I cant wait for it to come in!
With all the new designs coming out I wish there was a way to test drive them to see which I'd prefer. I have tried the Competition Axe, a Butcher, Ace of Spades, Queen of Hearts, Commander and Corporal and settled on a Corporal. But with Bad Axe, King of Diamonds and Jack of Clubs coming out, I don't know anyone who's bought them to try.

You said that if you kept going back further on the blade that you’d get more inches of of penetration when it stuck. But what you don’t realize is that the handle would keep you from going very far at all. You wouldn’t be able to get five inches wide of penetration.

So go tip first and try to go 4.5 inches deep...got it 👍
You cut the wrong angel across your blade with your tape measure (the top corner doesn't limit that 'almost 5 inches' by vertu of the haft.)...
P.S.
The sportification and mainstreamification of axe throwing is killing the edginess, and badassery of if it and I protest that. Making it accessible to more people is not necessarily more valuable than the value of it's current place in society. Also your job and personality leds itself to this effect.
