One of the best intros ever. I love seeing the two of you working together; you play off of each other perfectly. Looking forward to more!
Hey you Pilgrim!! Hold on you Pilgrim!! Hey you wait a Texas minute for me to pull this out, you Pilgrim!! {0.o} 😂 🤣 💀
" can a boyfriend , stop a 50 BMG "
was the best.
Remember there beef they had lol
The best
absolutely
And the Ranger's aim was deadly with the big iron on his hip. Big iron on his hipppppppp.
The sprinkler motion got me! I actually laughed out loud. 🤣
Scott yelling "it's watermelon time" and Matt running the table over with the gulf cart is hilarious
Spoiler
Did you spot the piece of shatter that flew by Scott's head? It happens just in the same couple of frames when Matt is passing back there. For a second I thought it was happening again 🤯
yeah that was great lmao
Didn't know Americans had Gulf Carts !! Usually they are only sold in the middle east as there not really very eco friendly and lack proper suspension..
@@petrokemikal hahaha
That casual "No?" With the eggplant kick was hilarious. I want not expecting that. Thank you Scott for being so awesome.
It really was perfect
He should have said the "Nobody likes eggplants" for the kick of course :D
I love how Matt just tosses the eggplant and Scott goes “okay no” and kicks it.
My favourite part. Perfect.
Careful with those single actions. They are known to just “go off” at any given time even with the hammer not cocked. ESPECIALLY on film sets.
"has anyone in the world ever been killed by fanning a revolver?"
I dunno... ask Alec Baldwin.
Had us in the first half, not gonna lie
@moopee1 Oh boy. The (admittedly drunken) short of it is that Alec Baldwin, noted anti-2A Hollywoodite, "accidentally" shot and killed his producer, with what he allegedly thought was a "safe" gun, e.g., loaded with blanks. Making things worse, he was recorded as having stated "How about I just shoot ya?" shortly before the murder took place. Moreover, the producer's next film would have been about some "spicy materiel of undercooked pizza", featuring Baldwin himself.
@@Bubben246 at least you have the stones to admit it was murder. Some people I know say it was "manslaughter" at worst
@@GrosvnerMcaffrey
Nah, at best manslaughter. At worst premeditated murder
That has to be the longest iron I have ever seen! Imagine a quick draw with this bad boy!
3 to 5 business days draw time.
No need to watch out for that cowboy with the 3rd leg. He's pretty slow on the draw and can barely hit the broad side of a barn....
You'd probably have to dabble in iaido or iaijutsu in order to pull it off.
Demoranch made a video on his channel some time ago shooting Rice Krispie with a *28" revolver*
Draaaw!
The intro reminds me of when Matt subbed in for you after your injury. Good to see you healthy again Scott. Excellent video.
Wholesome
balls + ratio
That was a nice time. I loved to see and wonder how many CZcamsrs would show up and help
@@smolsnek3835 I agree!
4:58 “there’s two kinds of people in these parts, the quick, and the dead, you’re dead”

It was very common for old single action revolvers to come with a high front sight (causing the pistol to shoot low). This is so the owner can file the front sight post as needed to sight in with their preferred load.
Knowledge
Came to the comments to say this! beat me to it!
that's really clever and makes sense cos of the difference in ammo back then
Was? My Ruger Blackhawk does the same thing. I have to aim with the "high" front sight centered on the rear sights (that is, height of front sights leveled with rear sights) to get good hits on target.
@@Bubben246 I knew it was the case historically. I did not want to speak about modern single actions (in general), since it may not be the case any longer.
The way Kentucky drew and fired after Matt said "I bet you can't hit Garand Thumb in the face" had me laughing for a solid 10 minutes! I absolutely love the way you two play off one another! Stay awesome Scott!
I've found Garand Thumb has some very pointless videos. Lol no one should be deep freezing pistols and hoping they work 😂
If you like that kind of filming, watch the movie 'The Gods Must Be Crazy' (from 1980), this filming technique is seen A LOT throughout that movie. You'll love it! hahaha Its an awesome comedy.
@@MonoChorMe I just looked it up. I'm definitely watching that tonight! Thanks for the suggestion!
@@richardbaileyii269 you're welcome 👍🏻
Yea I don't watch garand. Sry
8:40 Scott's little chuckle! This is when you know he's happy!
I’ve watched this many times. Scott doing the sprinkler on the intro is a classic!! Thanks for the hearty laugh boyeez!
At 11:33 after a misfire there is a small amount of smoke that escapes the forcing cone area… Kentucky you’re a brave man playing with a gun out of time after your accident.
I'm happy to see someone else noticed that too. Sketchy as hell!
Wanted to say the same. Reaaaaaally sketchy moment.
I'm surprised not many people said something about it that is pretty dangerous
I thought the same thing, I imagined that the revolver would explode in his hand and he would have to go to the hospital again, fortunately a revolver is less dangerous than a 50 CAL And also luckily that did not happen
oh good I'm not the only one who noticed
I am huge old western revolver person. I personally never fanned a revolver for that very reason. That kind of firearm is a step back in time in what hand guns where alll about. They are also great teaching tools for young inexperienced shooters. Love your videos keep putting them out there.
Every time you 2 get together the silliness is off the charts... and hilarious...lol
I was rolling when Matt ran over the table randomly during "Watermelon Time!" and then again when he tossed you the eggplant. 😂
That was hands down the best intro to a video I’ve ever seen!! You two are amazing. Let me know if y’all need another gun guy haha.
at the end of the intro, they were just spiting
Kentucky ballistics knows me!!!! Haha
The shenanigans you get up to, it brings a smile to my face.
That’s on par with demo ranches intros. Nice work man!
I love these kind of collabs. It really just feels like you guys are having fun.
The eggplant piece had me rolling. So subtle and matter-of-fact. Hilarious!! 😂
"OK, no..!"
Great episode! Would like to see more content from the both of you together.
I love watching you and Matt do Collabs, I feel like of all the people you collab with, you and Matt have the best comradery and the most infectious chill vibe
Scott: A .50BMG round blows up in his face.
Also Scott: Hand me that out of time revolver.
ARE WE NOT ENTERTAINED!
Aw the worst that’ll happen is a bit of lead shavings coming out the side
@@neonwhitea.1548 And destroy a forcing cone.
@@wvXvxvXvw the worst thing that’ll happen to Scott anyways
Can a out of time revolver malfunction and hurt you? I figured itd just hit the brass instead of the primer.
@@quadzilla7572 if you are standing next to the guy shooting it you can get hit by bullet shavings which can penetrate the skin
Such issues with fanning are the speed of the technique, which could bend or break the hand that turns the cylinder and potentially wear down the bolt and notches in the cylinder. This messes up the timing of the gun, potentially causing misfires.
I was going to comment a new hand would probably fix it. It could also have been a poor heat treating of the hand and it just wore down due to treatment.
Fanning is the best way to break a single action revolver.
At the intro I was cringing please don't fan the revolver! It won't last 50 rounds! The only people that fan revolvers successfully are in Hollywood and have unlimited prop and repair budgets.
dedicated SASS guns are usually custom modified for timed events and fast shooting, though I don't see them fanning them a lot, but damn they thumb those hammers just as fast. some of the modifications I've been told about is hardened hammer/hand combos and short stroke kits, trigger jobs, etc.
@@remiel3315 I used to shoot SASS, though I never made it End Of Trail or any of the major competitions. Fanning is illegal in SASS, and some hardware modifications are also not allowed as they are either considered a safety hazard or are deemed against the spirit of the game, which is to shoot vintage or replica vintage guns as fast as possible. I do know at least one person who did make it to worlds, and he did it with basically stock old-model Ruger Vaqueros, so mods mostly come down to what's most comfortable to the shooter, while still being safe and legle.
When you two get together, it's always worth the watch.
Funniest video I saw yall make together! I like the collabs
At the beginning of the watermelon time, when Matt drove into the table with the golf cart I laughed way to hard! Love the collabs can’t wait to see more! Edit: Also at the end when you both got in the drug rug and walked off😂
Jesus loves you alot trust in His death 4 salvation and be saved from eternal hell
c'mon, it's a poncho, just because it's being favored by some unfavorable clientel doesn't mean it deserves to be called like that xD
The end with them walking off like that made me lose it.
i liked that a bit of plastic broke off the table and came flying at the camera. Nearly made me duck 😂
Agree! That's was really awesome 🤣🤣🤣
After seeing the first spit, I just knew it was going to escalate to what it did lol I was not disappointed. Love your videos, and I love how much more ridiculous things get when Matt is around lol
Matt and Scott collabs are the freakin' best!
OMG this episode was hilarious!!!... the charisma between you two is awesome. I also loved that cinematography style (trick) you used at 8:24 --- older movies used to employ this "trick" a lot. An example movie that uses this trick is 'The Gods Must Be Crazy' (1980). Also, the intro to this episode was hilarious! hahaha 😂
See this is why KB and DR are the best firearms oriented channels on CZcams. Within the first 30 seconds of the video I was already laughing hysterically. Scott and Matt are both incredibly charismatic and funny, plus they showcase some of the most badass firearms out there and upload on a regular basis. They both deserve every subscriber/view they get plus a million more! Never change guys, you rock! 😁👍
I would argue that Forgotten Weapons and Paul Harrell are superior, FW for its historical/combatively practical views (though I may be conflating with InrangeTV a bit), and PH for his pragmatic "X vs. Y, given these variables" approach.
@@Bubben246 Yeah for sure. I'm a huge history buff, especially WW1 related stuff and I like Ian and his videos a lot. I guess I always just put him in my "historical videos" category.
Both these guys have such hilarious intros and overall fun content. Not takin themselves too seriously. Just a couple guys goofing. Love it!
Entertaining and potentially the end of drought! Thank you Scott and Matt. Make sure to rehydrate boys!
Really funny, this video made my day. Keep it up!
They're just screaming at each other spitting 🤣
I would never trust Scott when he says "that recoil isn't too bad", since the man can basically shoot a 105 howitzer while he's holding it.
Well it is just .45 Colt...
The man had a .50 cal blow up in his face. Nothing recoils too bad after that!
P.S. Scott, I'm glad you're ok. That was scary as hell!
These two dudes are a riot when they get together…lol
I enjoyed this video immensely!
Nice work and play guys. I enjoyed it!
0:26 the sprinkler had me 🤣😂
When Scott giggles like a child you know its out of pure joy!!!
Scott's sprinkler killed me.
Scott your laugh makes me smile. The for the fun!
Really enjoy the collabs man, keep ‘em comin’...
I agree there is nothing better on youtube than scott and matt in the same video
That was my favorite watermelon time ever! Matt looked scared to run over the table. 😂
Agree 🤣 this is the best channel on CZcams
You two are the best duo
Matt has that cool dad energy and Scott has that cool uncle energy, that is why they go together so good.
I have just one name to give, Bob Munden. He was the fastest ever with a single action cowboy six gun. Of course he was very good with a LOT of firearms. He trained his right hand man to help him with his gun smithing work, and Jeff Alt is continuing his legacy . Munden's Six-Gun Magic does different levels of improvements on Colts and their replicas. People still send them in from all over the world, especially competition shooters. Located in Butte Montana, where Bob perfected his craft. He worked on my Marlin .444 several years ago just to do it for me, and the difference was amazing.
Has anyone died from fanning a revolver? If there were guys like Bob around then yes! czcams.com/video/DSd8V-kb6Ro/video.html
He fixed my grandpa's marlin 336 after a lifetime of hunting and target shooting it was as good as new.
this is actually how they talked back then, after every word you have to spit on the ground, otherwise they wouldn't understand you
"Um, okay. no." as Scott kicks the eggplant is the best part of this video I think.
This was my favorite video by both of you guys!
Imagine bringing that gun to a fast draw championship. lol Also that intro was funnier then the past 20 years of SNL combined.
Remember the Marty Robbins song “Big iron on his hip”? Well it was written when Robbins saw a large revolver, and was impressed by its size. I knew the man who owned that gun and he showed it to me, along with documents proving it was the real “Big Iron”. It wasn’t nearly that long a barrel though!🤣 Great sight radius!
Really? According to Wikipedia, the Big Iron itself does indeed reside in a private collection. Your claim the barrel wasn't long is likely true, as it's a similar gun to the video. It's got a 12 inch barrel chambered for .44 Magnum.
@@beyondobscure First of all, never believe what you read on Wiki. But what I told you certainly doesn’t contradict it. It is owned by a great guy and is in his private collection. He still writes articles for magazines and is an expert in gun leather. He has the documents absolutely proving it is the real deal, as well as the story behind it, and signed by Marty Robbins.
@@keithweiss7899 Oh, that's badass. Agree with the Wiki thing, but the thing in question isn't political so there's usually no bias. Do you know him personally or just someone you met once? If the former, damn, you're lucky!
@@beyondobscure believe me, I’m not lucky. Just happened to work with him when I was with the government. He was also big into fast draw competition. But of course that thing certainly wasn’t used in fast draw! I can’t remember it’s make or model now. Only that it was a large frame. Trying to contact him now that I’m retired, and the collector of lots of totally useless info like this!🤣
@@beyondobscure I also apologize to you for sounding gruff. I’m in pain level 8 all of the time. It’s just the pain talking.

The republican held zones are awesome. Stay out of the democrat held zones. They are war zones.
Funniest intro you’ve made in a lil bit!!! Laughed soo hard!! Had to watch it twice
You both together make the greatest collab team ever, hilarious as always especially that Golf Cart clip ahaha, great work!
That poor Furby. You two are having way too much fun. I'd love to spend a day on the range with you guys.
Two crazy people, the perfect team! I’m loving this 😅
instant classic love the collabs
I’ve gotta say a year later that the opening skit is essentially my favorite thing either channel has ever done. Wonderful comedy.
It’s nice to see you and Matt getting along and breaking your new guns. And you really have to appreciate him remembering to get you an eggplant!
I’ve seen fanning knock the timing out on single actions before so it’s not all that surprising. Hopefully you didn’t actually do any actual damage to the gun.
Always fun to see Scott and Matt doing collaborations together. 💪🏼👍🏼😃
Yallz my absolute 2 favs !!! 🔥🔥🔥
That was an awesome intro. Had me laughing so hard I cried! 😂
The watermelon time 🍉💥 in this was AWESOME! The eggplant kick 🍆🦵was also a 10/10! Great video fellas!

Hi biden fan
What you think about your amazing president?
The opening sequence is gold, and it seriously can’t be topped in my eyes it’s hilarious
Love the CRE bit with Matt spitting out crayon and then golf carting through the table and pineapple.
You made my day. Thank You. and Matt is a awesome friend to have. Mr Sunshine rides again!! I need more of you during the week! Keep up the great work!
I love how these intros show y’all’s downward spiral to insanity. So funny! That gun is wild
Probably the best intro of any demoranch or kentucky video ever!!! I laughed so hard 🤣🤣🤣
That spit bit was gold.👏👏👏
Scott’s like a damn sniper one handed, fine shooting.
Ok, this is right up there with the bean-eater scene in Blazing Saddles...
I have some very long-barreled revolvers, including a 16" barrel Buntline Special. It's ridiculously fun to shoot.
The spit scene at the beginning is 10/10 spoof comedy quality. Also the double poncho occupancy - hilarious, without being too Broke Back Mountain. I would like to see a feature-length western written by yous guys.
Love it!
I love these two guys, and their collabs makes my day..😍
I love how your content just keeps getting better and better I appreciate the effort you put into your channel 👏
