  • Living in Canada can offer a diverse range of experiences depending on the region. Canada is known for its stunning landscapes, multicultural cities, high quality of life, and a strong sense of community. Here are some key points to note about living in Canada:
    Multiculturalism: Canada is a diverse country with a rich tapestry of cultures. Major cities like Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal showcase this diversity, offering a wide array of cultural experiences, cuisines, and traditions.
    High Quality of Life: Canada is consistently ranked high for its quality of life, healthcare system, education, and overall safety. The healthcare system is publicly funded, providing essential medical services to all citizens and permanent residents.
    Education: The country boasts world-class educational institutions at both the university and college levels. There are opportunities for international students and a strong emphasis on quality education.
    Natural Beauty: From the Rocky Mountains in the west to the Atlantic coastline in the east, Canada is known for its breathtaking natural landscapes. Outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, and camping are popular.
    Weather: Canada experiences a range of climates due to its vast size. Coastal regions tend to have milder winters, while central and northern areas can have very cold winters with heavy snowfall.
    Economic Opportunities: Canada has a strong and stable economy, providing various job opportunities across different sectors. Tech, finance, healthcare, and natural resources are some of the significant industries.
    Bilingualism: English and French are the official languages. While English is predominant, certain regions, particularly in Quebec, are primarily French-speaking.
    Cost of Living: The cost of living varies across the country. Generally, living in urban centers like Toronto or Vancouver can be more expensive than smaller cities or rural areas.
    Immigration: Canada has an immigration-friendly policy, welcoming skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and students from around the world.
    When considering moving to or living in Canada, it's essential to research the specific region, understand the immigration process, and consider factors like job prospects, lifestyle preferences, and the cost of living. Each province and territory in Canada offers its unique advantages and may align differently with your preferences.
    Ultimately, the choice between the UK and Canada depends on your preferences, goals, and priorities. Consider factors like climate, job opportunities, lifestyle, and immigration options when deciding which country aligns better with your aspirations. Both countries offer unique and attractive opportunities for residents and immigrants.

    Wow 🤩. First time listening to you and I’m gonna subscribe! Today I’ve listened to 5 other Nigerian you tubers based in Canada 🇨🇦 but I only subscribed to you 😂.🎉 🎉😊.
    This is a balanced view in my opinion especially with housing , the cold, jobs and a whole lot more! These cold houses in the U.K. and the bills 😢
    No Country is perfect and they all have their pros and cons. Best to decide what works best for you and pick one. Best to also have a positive attitude like you and be optimistic. It’s a less stressful way to live this life.
    Thank you so much Tomi . Please keep going ❤❤❤

    I think the most important point i love here why Canada is better than UK is the direct and straight process of acquiring citizenship.

      I leave in the uk and inside the house and rooms are soo cold it takes forever to warm the house and there is nothing like central heating and when it’s off immediately it getting cold so u are soo right.

    I totally totally agree with you on the variation of cold in both countries. I felt colder when I was in the UK than when I got to Canada. You could see your misty breath in my house in uk, and in -21° right now in Canada, im wearing shorts. The heating system here is more effective and affordable.

    BOC knows how to restore the confidence and how to make the country competitive. Right now with the elevated home prices Canada is no longer able to attract immigrants longer. The situation is getting so dire the people from Niger, Chad, South Sudan would think twice before moving to Canada.

    Hi tomi Government also supports people in the UK there's a lot of benefit you get depends on your status also Health care is free to everybody no matter your statusand free education you won't even buy a pen or pencil for your kids .UK is not big as you said but there's landmark depends on where you've been too. They way people said UK is small made me think is like Lagos size but is not at all, there are some town have been to due to the nature of my job I was like is this part of UK?because they still have a lot of landmarks. I have been to Canada but i want say it depends on where you've been too.

    • @obymary-ann6418
      @obymary-ann6418 Před 8 měsíci +1

      The UK is small is mostly said in comparison to USA and Canada . Healthcare is free but not completely for those who aren't PR/ Citizens cos people on study and work visa pay IHS fee....most benefits in UK are for their citizens tho, I stand to be corrected tho

    • @TomiAdenuga
      @TomiAdenuga  Před 7 měsíci +2

      Exactly and from a particular age, I don't hear of everyone having benefits in the UK unlike Canada

    • @DDO1433
      @DDO1433 Před 7 měsíci

      @obymary-ann6418 Thanks for the clarification in terms of landmarks, obymary.firstly, people on skilled work don't pay IHS, but they have other tax they pay also for both on skilled workers and students if your take home is bellow a particular amount they won't deduct tax from there salary.
      Secondly, I don't know about major health challenges like (surgery, e.t.c) but other things are free for students and skilled workers except if it is a major health challenges like I said .In fact, the children have free meals in school until age (7) .

    • @DDO1433
      @DDO1433 Před 7 měsíci

      @TomiAdenuga please don't get me wrong . If you read my previous message very well, I didn't say everybody in the UK collected benefits.I said it depends on your immigration status. Once you have access to public funds, age is not a limit, and they have many benefits they collected .I stand to be corrected.

    • @obymary-ann6418
      @obymary-ann6418 Před 3 měsíci +1

      @odunmolorunbello1433 people on skilled worker actually do pay IHS ....the only ones who don't pay are those on healthcare visa, doctors, nurses , senior carers and health care assistant, other skilled workers pay IHS, do your research properly..for example someone who got into UK as an accountant or auditor , will pay thir IHS fee wella...go and ask again.

    I live in Manitoba and since winter started I have only had to turn on heater twice. I wouldn't try that in that in the UK. I came from Scotland.
    I love it more in Canada! That's on period.
    I miss ease of shopping though, well just clothing. And the transportation 😢.
    Never felt the need to drive in the UK but it's a need in Canada.
    Been to Belfast, Birmingham, London but lived in Scotland.
