Here’s my kit list, you don’t need all this stuff. I just started with simple stuff and gradually replaced it largely thanks to Christmas and Birthday presents. Here are all the Amazon links. In a few of the cases I found the products cheaper elsewhere.

You don’t actual walk two miles an hour. You film a walking program full of entertaining and historical facts. Basically a cameraman, director, producer and onscreen talent moving at an incredible pace of two miles an hour. Very bloody impressive in my opinion.
You are too kind. It takes a lot of editing.
There once was a poet named Sparsely.
Who often enjoyed sprigs of parsley.
He walked the South Downs
And spent thirty pounds
But regarded no benches quite harshly.
Sparsely would be proud of that.
Even on second viewing I still find you irresistible x
I really love the way that fields look like that in the wind and clouds. So lovely. I love the way that those energy windmills look when they spin. Not sure why. And like the big tall signal towers that are real thin and have a light at the top. And a really nice cityscape agaisnt a sunset.
Rewatching because that’s what you do when you binge watch a series. Fun for the whole family...but no fun for Marek, which is why you giggle while watching. 😏😆👍😎
I think that was a Hiaku at 7.08. I appreciate that very much, thank you very much. Thank you for your videos.
Wonderful and glorious Marek, thank you!
Thanks cool dude.
Brilliant!! Off there in 10 days 😳😲
Good luck cool dude. Hope you have good weather.
Yeah, great stuff. Just became a cool dude thanks to my mate Frankie. Catching up with all your vids. Very enjoyable.😎👍
Nice one welcome to the club.
How was Cocking not on the list of Best Names on the SDW?! Stayed there and giggled every time I told someone.
Compeed is also a lifesaver!!!
The chalk "ball" that you met at 7:38 was a "sculpture" (!) by Andy Goldsworthy. There are 13 of these "chalk balls" on the 5 mile "Chalk Stone Trail" that runs from Bepton to West Dean. It is a shame that there are no info boards explaining to folk what they are.
Excellent. Thanks Dave, I was dying to know what it was. They should definitely put an information board there. I was imagining cavemen rolling it down a hill.
The smell of petrol is satisfying when it shouldn't be
I always feel it is eating my brain cells (what is left of them).
Sparsely Benched 😭💀 love the videos keep them coming!
I could easily watch for longer with more beautiful scenery ! Lovely stay cool, cool dudes !
Thanks cool dude. I am always paranoid the videos are too long.
Thank you for another wonderful video. More beautiful scenery. ♡
Thanks Tina. If anything it gets better!
Love watching shadows of clouds too. So relaxing. Lovely day two video. Cheers cool dude :)
Yes shadow cloud watching is so great. Hope you're doing well.
Amazing pacing - like a cool dude train
Big day out! Looks very nice! Not only has Marek delegated the equipment carrying, he's also maneuvered his way out of camping... I'm almost surprised he didn't deploy his brother to pre-bench the route too!
Who's side are you on here!
Those blue skies are lush
Laying down in the grass directly underneath an electric pylon and watching the clouds move overhead is not only beautiful (especially if you hear the electric buzz in the background) but also a tad weird as you feel like you are going to fall up into the sky.
That is something I want to try.
I love the South Downs way. Really enjoyed this. Maybe the Flapometer could be your next invention.
My miss rate on inventions is pretty much 100%.
@@cdwc l think you have some clever ideas.
You cheer me you immensely. Hat flapometer...😂😂
Thanks Grianne.
Can see where you are coming from with the Pylons - always remind me of the Eiffel Tower - and a lot more useful. I quite like telegraph poles with lamps attached myself, especially ones that have old lamps that have missed the latest Council upgrade. Tanks for the walk, Dude xxx
I am a big fan of the old gas light lamps.
@@cdwc Am a big fan of yours. xxx
Would you like to see some pics of footballs? x
I totally agree with you with regards watching shadows made by clouds being enjoyable to watch, electric pylons not so much😉. Another enjoyable video👍. I did a wild camp on harting Down during my crossing. Lovely views. ATB Jim
Hope it was less windy than when I did it. Really liked Harting Down. Stay cool.
Oh Jim! I did not realise it was you. I watched your videos before I went on the hike. They're fantastic.
Great Walk and video Marek, I'm sad i've only just found out about Trig Bagging, i'd love to bag a trig. a little tip on blisters, i carry some duct tape (wrapped on an old credit card type card) to put over plasters on blisters, worked bloody great.
I also agree on the pylons making me think of giants.
Good tip. I use compeed and Leukotape. Although vaselining helps.
Part 2 already, smashing these out man...
One a day for the next seven days, so you can feel you're actually there.
@@cdwc when shall start rubbing sandpaper into my toes? Just for that authentic experience?
Your 'pylon fancy' is interesting. My son used to like pylons when he was younger. There used to be a magazine/blog called 'Pylon of the month'. Seriously. Great Video thank you.
Pylon of the month would make a good calendar.
Glad you weren't attacked by treants in the ancient wood
The film did not manage to capture my genuine fear that the forest was going to collapse on me in the storm.
@@cdwc oh noes :( awe pickle. Zephyr is a scary bugger, thank you for your bravery in continuing; and your sensibleness in not trying to tent up in it
Fun video. I am hiking it in a few days. What watch or app do you have that gave you those great walking statistics? I didn't know there was one that reports speed on the flat!
I use Outdooractive. There is a discount code - COOLDUDES10F
As a child always thought pylons were tripods from the 80's kids TV program. They worried me then and disturb me until this day.
The first episode of Tripods was terrifying.
Next episode will Marek camp out in the tent.. find out next time as he continues his epic journey.
He will.
The sheep are waiting on your dice roll to see what happens this time. There hoping for a 6
There's a badger who's been rolling a six (find out more tmw).
Your E-M1 does a great job!
The stabilisation is phenomenal. I had an Em5 Mark III for Vlogging but dropped it and it broke. Got it repaired and exchanged it for the EM1 Mark III, it took all my money but much more sturdy (touch wood).
@@cdwc Oh wow I can't believe the Em5 broke! If I had a ton of extra money I'd get into the Olympus system as well (I have fuji right now). Olys stab is amazing and the colors are really nice. Great work!
The body of the EM5 mkiii is made out of polycarbonate, also the base plate keeps breaking for people. I have been watching videos of the new Fuji X-s10. But this EM1 has to last me for another five years. Ha. How do you like your Fuji?
@@cdwc Fuji is great! Even so, it definitely wouldn't work as well as your EM1 does for your walks. Your EM1 seems to handle the crazy weather really well and from what I've heard they are built to be pretty tough. I bet it will last you several more years.
If you like Iron Man - do you like The Brave Little Toaster?
I haven't seen it. Will definitely put it on my list.
Looks like you would've been staying at the same campsite as I did - a shame we won't get to hear your thoughts on the "outdoor shower!"
I quite like the smell of bleach. That may be related to the fact that I don't like to smell dirty people?!
Looking forward to Part 3.
I stay at Foxleigh Barn in Part 3. That was a brilliant campsite.
@@cdwc Looking forward to that!
5:43. how did you not get the 69 joke. lol
I like the smell of indoor parking lots, does that count?
That is carbon monoxide!!!!!!!
@@cdwc I know... Mixed with cement and dust.
Yoghurt laugh
How come you haven't been on Taskmaster yet? Have you upset Greg?
