That Djokovic backhand never ceases to amaze me
A thing of beauty yes
@@vickvickson4273 who the fuck asked
@@vickvickson4273 Both Nadal and Djokovic attacked Fred's backand relentlessly, and Fed seemed helpless.
@@vickvickson4273 federer's backhand was famous among players for basically being the only way to get anywhere near him in his prime. Novak's isn't a weakness at all, federer's was, and federer is by far my preferred player
@@vickvickson4273 stats for their shots during tournaments are easily accessible. Fed himself says that he only really became happy with his backhand when he changed it in like 2017. Flashy winners is not what wins tennis matches, he made far more mistakes on it than winners, which is why almost every match point against him you watch, his opponent will just pepper the backhand until they get the error
Just with a simple solid game is unstopppable, If he turns in beast Mode then he is a phenomeno.....
Yeah it looks simple, but his defence f. i. at the backhandside is insane. Well played attacks are comingng back with same speed.
this was djokovic playing good, it wasn t a simple solid game. Of course it s not his peak, but he didn t need that.

Unstoppptable, He was, is and will be , for me, No.1, wining or not. With great respect from Romania , Stela
Respect to you sister! 💓
For me Federer. Now I'm fan of Alcaraz. This young man is amazing.
Nice win but it won't be enough vs alcaraz anymore
Sinner and especially Alcaraz are on fire at the moment. They may prove more difficult opponents to beat even than Zverev and Medvedev. Next year of tennis will be really telling of the status quo of the sport.
Sigur va termina cariera cu cele mai multe slamuri și atunci toată lumea care nu-i fan Djokovic să se p**e pe ei
Those stingers down the line on both side...omg! But particularly his backhand split step down the line, it a thing of beauty!
I love Novak and wish nothing but the best for him. He is a good human being and a phenomenal tennis player.
Awesome performance by the real world no 1!
And why exactly isn't Alcaraz the real no.1? Is it his fault Novak didn't want to get vaccinated? His fault they didn't let Novak play Australia or USO? All i know is Carlos won 3 big titles so far and 2 ATP500. And the one time he played Novak this year, he beat him straight up. After beating Nadal nonetheless in the previous round.
@@jay_kulina no no but you forget Novak also had to defend his W titel, and they cancels ALSO there the point system ….

Plays with such a good flow. Always in position makes it look easy.
It is really great that after all what has happened to him this year he still has the motivation to play like this. I hope he will get his chance for a 10th title at the Australian Open 2023. A Final between Alcaraz and Djokovic? Would be a dream-match.
Depends if the stupid Australian covid law is gone or not.

Djokovic is the only player to have won titles on all three diferent surfaces(clay, grass, hard) this year. Given that he could not play for more than half a year, this achievement is even more impressive... Keep going champ 💪🏆
Well that's some info. Very nice... That's pretty amazing and ironic.

The fact that Djokovic won Wimbledon and several other titles this year although he was *severely* handicapped by this vaccine *madness* is absolutely amazing. I suggest he gets the Nobel Prize in sports this year.
Vaccine madness is right. I learned a lot about people over the last few years. Turns out... my faith in Humanity was an illusion. People are stupid and do what they're told in masses. It's so easy for the top 1% to control everybody because most people are unhealthy cowards.
Yep. Useless vaccine mandates for a vaccine that does not stop transmission of the virus. I think most people know by now, maybe even the triple boosted sheep, that something wasn't right with the whole thing from the very beginning.
Noble price for being stupid and causing public endangerment

Djokovic in future
reach 110 title
400 weeks no 1
25 grandslam

Alcaraz is Djokovic on steroids. He does almost everything, a tad better than Nole.
But Novak with only one weapon, i believe, is superior to Alcaraz in a match of attrition: The 2 handed backhand. He can play shots of that wing, which is normally only possible with a forehand. And, it's apparent that his slice has improved too.
Hoping against hope, they allow the GOAT to play the Australian open.
Agreed!
@@ramifishpoker On paper... Alcaraz has a better serve, forehand, more power in his groundstrokes, more explosive off his feet, better volleyer, better touch, more creative, better mid-court game and far more offensive.
It's a different thing implementing those, agaisnt a player like Nole. The fact is Novak is good enough to constantly play to Alcaraz's weaknesses and hence pull out a win.
novak's most powerful weapon is not even BH, its his clutch mentality

Nice that Novak was able to play in Israel.
I'm still upset with my country for not letting him in for the Open.
He has been cheated out of the chance to play two majors now and neither Nadal or Federer will speak out on his behalf.
I’m not sure why they call it an “open.” If it was an open they wouldn’t discriminate against unvaccinated
@@Marc467gg the excuse they gave was that the federal government has vaccination policies in place against any sort of travel from other countries. It wasn't a USTA policy. I contacted my senators and congresswoman asking for relief but never got a response.

Djokovic the real #1 .
If the points from Wimbledon were counted and he'd been allowed to play AO and USO (and assume at least a QF appearance), he would currently be ranked #1. And that's not even counting the points he'd have potentially gained at the tune-up events in Australia and the US!
