There is no greater blessing I have heard in months than that the temples are opening, even if only by appointment. I'm glad that we're able to start opening up to proxy work. 😊❤️🕊️ Although I wish we could open up fully, I'm grateful for those who are ready and have this opportunity to serve. I'm sure those on the other side are just as anxious (if not more so 😉) to see this new, next phase! Makes me hope that I am still Worthy to attend and reminds me of the duty of doing Family History work.

I am so happy that our temple in Nova Scotia Canada is opening again for the 3rd phase. First one i believe in North America. I pray we can keep it open.
I am so grateful to live in Brisbane, Australia! We have been very fortunate and had some strict measures, but by being obedient have been blessed to be able to have our temple reopen. We have come close to eliminating this virus through early lockdowns, and following science driving public health directions. I am eager to put on that mask if it means I can sit in the temple and feel the joy of service.

The Bible is the Bible, a record of the revelations of God to ancient Israel and the saints of Christ's ancient church. Modern revelation is the continuation of the communication of God with His children. God is not dead, as they say. He speaks, He is present. He did not retire from guiding His children in AD 34 or AD 70 or AD 324. He will continue to reveal truth to you and I up to the second coming of His Son, and will continue to speak to us thereafter. A truth to which I am very grateful for.
@James Wines You are certainly entitled to your opinions brother. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's church of the Bible. It is the ancient church of Christ restored. If you want to find it in the Bible, start with Genesis 1 and somewhere around Revelations 22 you will have found it. If you let the Lord speak to your heart, you'll find it quicker.
@James Wines Isaiah 5 has some beautiful scripture in it. I find verse 20 to be especially applicable to our times. Both Isaiah 5:13 and Luke 21:24 speak of the great apostasy, namely the time between the death of Christ's apostles, and the restoration of Christ's church in our times. Jerusalem, and most early Christians I would add, were indeed led away captive at the edge of the sword and trodden down of the Gentiles, destroying the organization of the Church along with it. Isaiah puts it beautifully if you keep reading through verse 19. In the context of the siege of Jerusalem in AD 70 and the struggles of Christianity up through 19th century, he sets the stage from 13 to 18 of the absence of the knowledge of God really tangibly using words like thirst, famished, and a feeding in waste places. Then in verse 19 let's out that real poignant lament to God to "hasten his work", and "to draw night that we may know it!" He's saying bring back that knowledge lost to us because of our going into captivity. Isaiah's awesome!
To those thinking the Church is complacent in unjust regulations, I have 3 words: Pick Your Battles The Church does not need to take a stand on this issue. Taking a stand on this issue could cause long-term problems for the progression of the work of God. It is not a big deal to wear masks and be screened if it means that the Church will be left alone by over-aggressive governments. We, as citizens, need to take a stand and tell our representatives what we believe about these stupid regulations, but for the Church to do that could chill the progress it’s made in getting into a lot of countries. It could give governments excuses to stop temple and missionary work. Which is more important? So just chill out about the compliance. There are many more issues at play than we are aware of.

I wonder how they will deal those people who chronic illnesses that produce, similar symptoms. They may just play it safe (overly safe) and not let them in. However, it sounds like this will be based on the honor system.
I had nasal surgery with complications that really don't let me wear a mask past 30m. Masks state in the package they aren't medical. This is a man made sham that I really hope the church doesn't continue to force us to conform to.

Wow that is quite scary, if i did not have a testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, this would worry the heck out of me. We have been warned by our prophet that we will not spiritually survive unless we have the holy ghost as our constant companion, here we see already this is the case, i do not intend on willingly getting the vaccine and therefore may possibly forfit my chance to visit the temple. As unfair as this will be it will be another sign of the times we live in. Trust in our Father in Heaven is all we will be left with, even our own senses will deceive us and our friends may desert us. If we are barred from attending the temple, then, so be it this will be for a small moment, and if we bear it well, great will be our reward so say the scriptures. I love my friend Jesus Christ and witness that he will never abandon us or refuse us entry as we strive to keep the commandments.
What about those who have breathing problems and can not wear a face mask? My husband will not be able to attend because he has asthma and has bronchitis. He has been struggling with wearing a Face mask continually.
Sadly you will be asked to “reschedule” your visit for another time. I want to be very clear when I say I know the Church or Jesus Christ is true. But, some of the things like happily following very unconstitutional mandates are going against Gods Laws. Asking us or inviting us to wear a silly, pointless mask is one thing, but not allowing us into the Temple without one is plain wrong. The Church is still true. It is the vehicle that holds Gods priesthood keys on earth today and that doesn’t change. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is Also True. Now more than ever we must turn to God for help and deliverance from the evil machinations of governments and world leaders who trust in the arm of flesh, science, vaccines, etc more than Faith in Christ. We are currently not experiencing a pandemic from a virus, but a pandemic of false positives. I work in health care with the most vulnerable population. These people want their life’s back. They want to be free to choose to “stay safe”, locked up all day in their room alone and depressed, or have the right to enjoy close contact, hugs, kisses, smiles, etc. From family and friends like they once did. That right has been stripped from them and the Church is helping perpetuate the lie of this plandemic. And even if this were a true global pandemic, taking millions and millions of lives, it would still be wrong to force compliance. We the people would take it upon ourselves to protect ourselves if this truly were a pandemic. And again, I want to stress the importance of staying in the true church of God, even during these increasingly troubling times. Please read and ponder Doctrine and Covenants 112:23-27. What does it mean to us?

A lot of people are expressing their horror at seeing their freedoms taken away. I'm reading blame towards the Brethren. The Brethren don't want things to be this way. It's not their job to dictate policy. Would you have them be our politicians? Watch and be grateful at their sensitivity to the dangerous situations in front of us. Take responsibility for your own lives. Lie in the bed you've made. Own the "lawmakers" you've voted in. Fight for the freedom you've forgotten is yours to fight for. Don't be ashamed to repent and do better.
In the 12th article of faith, it states that we believe in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law. The brethren are acting in accordance with the Church's basic beliefs. We believe in being asubject to bkings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in cobeying, honoring, and sustaining the dlaw.
Read and study the 12 article of faith. It tells us to obey and follow kings, rulers, magistrates only when THEY honor and obey the law of the land. And what is the law of the land? The answer lies in Gods holy scriptures: Doctrine and Covenants 98:5-7. So, we are obligated to follow government leaders and laws that are in accordance with Gods laws, including the Constitution of the United States. If you don’t know, these mask mandates are clearly unconstitutional, and thus we are under no obligation to follow them.
This argument of faith is manifested by being unmasked is the same as leaving your house unlocked, not wearing a seat belt, or even more relevant saying that we dont need the garments because our faith alone is sufficient to provide protection. It makes no sense and im tired of being labeled as faithless because i practice a measure of safety.
Be Thankful for having survived and know you are Blessed, follow the guidelines presented to you when making your appointment, and if possible even care a mask with you, being able to enter the temple is the blessings we desire and the Lord wishes for us, I think personally even though in my case the mask hinders my breathing I still wear it, when required. We have been waiting for 10 Months for the temples to be open to do the Lords work. a mask is the least we can do for our loved ones.

I absolutely believe in God, but I also believe God will not be mocked. To suggest me wearing a mask is protecting my loved ones makes no sense because it does nothing. Well you would need to hold a temple recommend, so attend to that first, the abide by your local government requirements. If you have a issue with masks, then take it up with your local politician.
I don’t want to say wearing masks is right or wrong, but it is important, even crucial that we have the Holy Ghost with us always. We need to make sure that we are not being deceived. For me, I don’t know how it has become such a popular opinion that we shouldn’t wear masks. Pray about your decisions is all in asking you to do.

It is concerning that a temperature gun is being used to take temperatures being pointed at the head. An accurate reading can be made using someone's wrist. No one should *ever* get used to having a gun looking item pointed at their head! Using non-toxic soap and water is appropriate to clean with & disinfects viruses. Using chemical cleaners as well as hand sanitizer only kills all the good bacteria on our hands so if we to encounter any bad bacteria/germ, we no longer have good bacteria on our hands/bodies to balance/fight it. Wearing masks to prevent a virus is like putting up a chain link fence to keep mosquitos out. It is ineffective at best & makes everyone keep germs next to their faces for long periods of time which does cause illness as well as making them breathe in their own CO2 waste. This is discussing and disrespectful to everyone, especially how it is being articulated that wearing one is being "caring" towards other's health. Health is a personal matter & includes *far* more than socially distancing, wearing "face coverings", and using toxic hand sanitizer. It includes getting 7-8 hours of rest, 30 minutes of daily exercise, getting 5-15 minutes daily of skin contact with sunshine, eating nutritious foods - mostly a vegetable based die, eating organic foods without the pesticides, eating non-GMO foods, taking *food* based organic/non-GMO vitamins, eating organic/free range/grass fed meats, eating fermented foods, and eating raw dairy. Health also includes saying away from: eating out/fast food, processed foods, alcohol, smoking, vaping, drugs (yes, even Tylenol can be addicting), GMO foods, vegetable/canola/mutated fats, artificial sweeteners, artificial colors, artificial flavors, and sugar (sugar is in most everything eaten all-day-long by most people, it is even in things that are *not* sweet, such as seasoning "salt", condiments, crackers, and soups). Sugar suppresses our immune systems for a minimum of 12 hours after consuming it. Why isn't the church teaching everyone about these very important things concerning "health'? Why are they going along with the same narrative that the government is going with. Yes, the church teaches the "word of wisdom", yet it's mostly only focused on not drinking, smoking, chewing, coffee, and tea. Very little is talked about all we are to *do*. And that is most of section 89, is what *to do*. Only a few verses focus on what not to do. This is dangerous what you are doing with aiding people to get used to having a gun looking item pointed at their forehead when an accurate temp can be taken from the wrist. It is also dangerous what you are doing with using chemical cleaning agents and hand sanitizer. What should be done is to invite people to wash their hands frequently with non-toxic good old-fashioned soap and water. I would think that the "true" church of God that has the "true and everlasting gospel" would know these things and conduct themselves in a healthier manner. Teaching people what *to* do and *not* to do to stay healthy. And then do as the doctrine says and ****Let them govern themselves****. It was sick and wrong what the Utah Area Authority did in telling members to mask up. Mask are political in nature and the church has no business getting in political matters that are not moral. God gave us the rules and commands that members of the Church of Jesus Christ follow. The principles we teach and require are eternal principles established by God) 4). Radical changes of personality and behavior. (Nope, unless you consider the principles and eternal commandments to be mystification.) 6). Monopoly of information. (Our doctrine is open to ANYONE who would like to know. Even the temple worship is allowed if the person meets a principle of righteousness and devotion to the church and its principles) 7). False justification. (Jesus is our justification) 8). Structural mystification. (We stand by the structure that Jesus Christ established when he lived on earth) 9). Chronic psychological deterioration symptoms. (If holiness is psychological deterioration, then we're ALL hit) 10). Repression of all dissent. (We don't repress dissent, except when that dissent violates eternal laws and principles, like Gay Marriage, transgenderism, other eternal laws like the power of the priesthood or the organization of the church when these people go to the major media and rail against the church or its leaders) "Mainstream" Christian churches consist of over 1,500 DIFFERENT churches with different beliefs and doctrines. THAT'S WHY Jesus Christ's church, the one he established in the New Testament had to be restored in its fullness.

I am so happy that our temple in Nova Scotia Canada is opening again for the 3rd phase. First one i believe in North America. I pray we can keep it open.
I am so grateful to live in Brisbane, Australia! We have been very fortunate and had some strict measures, but by being obedient have been blessed to be able to have our temple reopen. We have come close to eliminating this virus through early lockdowns, and following science driving public health directions.
I am eager to put on that mask if it means I can sit in the temple and feel the joy of service.
Even videos that go over rules and regulation are uplifting! You know something good is happening there if that's the case.
I for one have always tried to socially distance myself when finding a seat at the temple, 😂 . Grateful for temple reopenings

@James Wines I'm guessing that was a question, cause I've never heard of a thing called "what the Bible." The Bible is the Bible, a record of the revelations of God to ancient Israel and the saints of Christ's ancient church. Modern revelation is the continuation of the communication of God with His children. God is not dead, as they say. He speaks, He is present. He did not retire from guiding His children in AD 34 or AD 70 or AD 324. He will continue to reveal truth to you and I up to the second coming of His Son, and will continue to speak to us thereafter. A truth to which I am very grateful for.
@James Wines You are certainly entitled to your opinions brother. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's church of the Bible. It is the ancient church of Christ restored. If you want to find it in the Bible, start with Genesis 1 and somewhere around Revelations 22 you will have found it. If you let the Lord speak to your heart, you'll find it quicker.
@James Wines Isaiah 5 has some beautiful scripture in it. I find verse 20 to be especially applicable to our times. Both Isaiah 5:13 and Luke 21:24 speak of the great apostasy, namely the time between the death of Christ's apostles, and the restoration of Christ's church in our times. Jerusalem, and most early Christians I would add, were indeed led away captive at the edge of the sword and trodden down of the Gentiles, destroying the organization of the Church along with it. Isaiah puts it beautifully if you keep reading through verse 19. In the context of the siege of Jerusalem in AD 70 and the struggles of Christianity up through 19th century, he sets the stage from 13 to 18 of the absence of the knowledge of God really tangibly using words like thirst, famished, and a feeding in waste places. Then in verse 19 let's out that real poignant lament to God to "hasten his work", and "to draw night that we may know it!" He's saying bring back that knowledge lost to us because of our going into captivity. Isaiah's awesome!

To those thinking the Church is complacent in unjust regulations, I have 3 words: Pick Your Battles
The Church does not need to take a stand on this issue. Taking a stand on this issue could cause long-term problems for the progression of the work of God. It is not a big deal to wear masks and be screened if it means that the Church will be left alone by over-aggressive governments.
We, as citizens, need to take a stand and tell our representatives what we believe about these stupid regulations, but for the Church to do that could chill the progress it’s made in getting into a lot of countries. It could give governments excuses to stop temple and missionary work. Which is more important? So just chill out about the compliance. There are many more issues at play than we are aware of.

I am so thrilled to be able to go back .. as I know are those beyond the veil.
So those with Asmtha, COPD, Lung Disease, and Lung Cancer cannot attend the temple.
I wonder how they will deal those people who chronic illnesses that produce, similar symptoms. They may just play it safe (overly safe) and not let them in. However, it sounds like this will be based on the honor system.
I had nasal surgery with complications that really don't let me wear a mask past 30m. Masks state in the package they aren't medical. This is a man made sham that I really hope the church doesn't continue to force us to conform to.

If it does then the church isn’t true
Wow that is quite scary, if i did not have a testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, this would worry the heck out of me. We have been warned by our prophet that we will not spiritually survive unless we have the holy ghost as our constant companion, here we see already this is the case, i do not intend on willingly getting the vaccine and therefore may possibly forfit my chance to visit the temple. As unfair as this will be it will be another sign of the times we live in. Trust in our Father in Heaven is all we will be left with, even our own senses will deceive us and our friends may desert us. If we are barred from attending the temple, then, so be it this will be for a small moment, and if we bear it well, great will be our reward so say the scriptures. I love my friend Jesus Christ and witness that he will never abandon us or refuse us entry as we strive to keep the commandments.
What about those who have breathing problems and can not wear a face mask? My husband will not be able to attend because he has asthma and has bronchitis. He has been struggling with wearing a Face mask continually.

What if I have a religious exemption?
Sadly you will be asked to “reschedule” your visit for another time. I want to be very clear when I say I know the Church or Jesus Christ is true. But, some of the things like happily following very unconstitutional mandates are going against Gods Laws. Asking us or inviting us to wear a silly, pointless mask is one thing, but not allowing us into the Temple without one is plain wrong. The Church is still true. It is the vehicle that holds Gods priesthood keys on earth today and that doesn’t change. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is Also True. Now more than ever we must turn to God for help and deliverance from the evil machinations of governments and world leaders who trust in the arm of flesh, science, vaccines, etc more than Faith in Christ.
We are currently not experiencing a pandemic from a virus, but a pandemic of false positives. I work in health care with the most vulnerable population. These people want their life’s back. They want to be free to choose to “stay safe”, locked up all day in their room alone and depressed, or have the right to enjoy close contact, hugs, kisses, smiles, etc. From family and friends like they once did. That right has been stripped from them and the Church is helping perpetuate the lie of this plandemic. And even if this were a true global pandemic, taking millions and millions of lives, it would still be wrong to force compliance. We the people would take it upon ourselves to protect ourselves if this truly were a pandemic. And again, I want to stress the importance of staying in the true church of God, even during these increasingly troubling times. Please read and ponder Doctrine and Covenants 112:23-27. What does it mean to us?

A lot of people are expressing their horror at seeing their freedoms taken away. I'm reading blame towards the Brethren. The Brethren don't want things to be this way. It's not their job to dictate policy. Would you have them be our politicians? Watch and be grateful at their sensitivity to the dangerous situations in front of us. Take responsibility for your own lives. Lie in the bed you've made. Own the "lawmakers" you've voted in. Fight for the freedom you've forgotten is yours to fight for. Read and study the 12 article of faith. It tells us to obey and follow kings, rulers, magistrates only when THEY honor and obey the law of the land. And what is the law of the land? So, we are obligated to follow government leaders and laws that are in accordance with Gods laws, including the Constitution of the United States. If you don’t know, these mask mandates are clearly unconstitutional, and thus we are under no obligation to follow them.

This argument of faith is manifested by being unmasked is the same as leaving your house unlocked, not wearing a seat belt, or even more relevant saying that we dont need the garments because our faith alone is sufficient to provide protection. It makes no sense and im tired of being labeled as faithless because i practice a measure of safety.

Be Thankful for having survived and know you are Blessed, follow the guidelines presented to you when making your appointment, and if possible even care a mask with you, being able to enter the temple is the blessings we desire and the Lord wishes for us, I think personally even though in my case the mask hinders my breathing I still wear it, when required.

It is concerning that a temperature gun is being used to take temperatures being pointed at the head. An accurate reading can be made using someone's wrist. No one should *ever* get used to having a gun looking item pointed at their head!
Using non-toxic soap and water is appropriate to clean with & disinfects viruses. Using chemical cleaners as well as hand sanitizer only kills all the good bacteria on our hands so if we to encounter any bad bacteria/germ, we no longer have good bacteria on our hands/bodies to balance/fight it.
Wearing masks to prevent a virus is like putting up a chain link fence to keep mosquitos out. It is ineffective at best & makes everyone keep germs next to their faces for long periods of time which does cause illness as well as making them breathe in their own CO2 waste. This is discussing and disrespectful to everyone, especially how it is being articulated that wearing one is being "caring" towards other's health.
Health is a personal matter & includes *far* more than socially distancing, wearing "face coverings", and using toxic hand sanitizer. It includes getting 7-8 hours of rest, 30 minutes of daily exercise, getting 5-15 minutes daily of skin contact with sunshine, eating nutritious foods - mostly a vegetable based die, eating organic foods without the pesticides, eating non-GMO foods, taking *food* based organic/non-GMO vitamins, eating organic/free range/grass fed meats, eating fermented foods, and eating raw dairy. Health also includes saying away from: eating out/fast food, processed foods, alcohol, smoking, vaping, drugs (yes, even Tylenol can be addicting), GMO foods, vegetable/canola/mutated fats, artificial sweeteners, artificial colors, artificial flavors, and sugar (sugar is in most everything eaten all-day-long by most people, it is even in things that are *not* sweet, such as seasoning "salt", condiments, crackers, and soups). Sugar suppresses our immune systems for a minimum of 12 hours after consuming it.
Why isn't the church teaching everyone about these very important things concerning "health'? Why are they going along with the same narrative that the government is going with. Yes, the church teaches the "word of wisdom", yet it's mostly only focused on not drinking, smoking, chewing, coffee, and tea. Very little is talked about all we are to *do*. And that is most of section 89, is what *to do*. Only a few verses focus on what not to do.
This is dangerous what you are doing with aiding people to get used to having a gun looking item pointed at their forehead when an accurate temp can be taken from the wrist. It is also dangerous what you are doing with using chemical cleaning agents and hand sanitizer. What should be done is to invite people to wash their hands frequently with non-toxic good old-fashioned soap and water.
I would think that the "true" church of God that has the "true and everlasting gospel" would know these things and conduct themselves in a healthier manner. Teaching people what *to* do and *not* to do to stay healthy. And then do as the doctrine says and ****Let them govern themselves****.
It was sick and wrong what the Utah Area Authority did in telling members to mask up. Mask are political in nature and the church has no business getting in political matters that are not moral. I understand they only did it b/c Herbert/Cox/Romney asked them to after the prophet told them no. This is wrong!!! We all know of another story where someone was asking something & he was told "no" as well. But he kept asking until he got to do what he wanted. And we all know the fall-out, sorrow, & regret that losing the 116 pages caused them.
An even more accurate way to take one's temperature is rectally. Sorry, I'll take the gun to the head.

God gave us the rules and commands that members of the Church of Jesus Christ follow. Jesus drove people out of the temple not because the temple was bad, but because it was holy and it was supposed to remain holy, just as temples today should and do.

Food should never be available at the Temple! Remember how He was mad for making sales at the Temple in Jerusalem! Just saying!

1-They don't make money for the food 2- it's not required to attend 3- the food is often for the workers who work long hours in the temple or for people who traveled a long distance to attend and want to stay as long as they can to serve

Here's the real definition of a cult and how the church is NOT a cult:
A CULT is a relatively small group of people having religious beliefs or practices regarded by others as strange or sinister. (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has nearly 17 million members world wide. We believe in Jesus Christ and him crucified and raised the third day. That's not sinister).
A misplaced or excessive admiration for a particular person or thing. (Our admonition is for Jesus Christ. We admire Joseph Smith as the prophet of the restoration, and our current prophet who speaks on behalf of God, but it's not displaced, as we also admire Moses, Isaiah, Samuel, etc. We don't admire the cross, a device of excruciating torture. We admire the risen Lord, the Lord who came to the women at the tomb, who visited the men on the road to Emmaus, the Lord who rose into heaven to this throne, the Lord who shed his blood for Man's redemption.)
A person or thing that is popular or fashionable, especially among a particular section of society (We don't worship the cross; we don't worship the Bible or Book of Mormon, although we revere them).

4). Radical changes of personality and behavior. (Actually we do this: we expect people to slough off the old wicked man and put on the new man, a man of Christ, pure and holy. Radical? YES!)
5). Pseudo-scientific mystification. (Nope, unless you consider the principles and eternal commandments to be mystification.)
6). Monopoly of information. (Our doctrine is open to ANYONE who would like to know. Even the temple worship is allowed if the person meets a principle of righteousness and devotion to the church and its principles)
7). False justification. (Jesus is our justification)
8). Structural mystification. (We stand by the structure that Jesus Christ established when he lived on earth)
9). Chronic psychological deterioration symptoms. (If holiness is psychological deterioration, then we're ALL hit)
10). Repression of all dissent. (We don't repress dissent, except when that dissent violates eternal laws and principles, like Gay Marriage, transgenderism, other eternal laws like the power of the priesthood or the organization of the church when these people go to the major media and rail against the church or its leaders)
"Mainstream" Christian churches consist of over 1,500 DIFFERENT churches with different beliefs and doctrines. THAT'S WHY Jesus Christ's church, the one he established in the New Testament had to be restored in its fullness.
This will now kill off thousands of the elderly entering the temples. A tradegy we are opening December 2020, when COVID-19 is the worst it has been. 😷🗣🗣🗣🤧💀☠🤑
We are not opening in any area that has not pretty much eliminated the virus. Only a few temples are opening at this time and none are in the US.

Here's an idea.... Make the elderly and at-risk stay home and let those who are healthy go without wearing a mask. There we go. Problem solved. This is how the entire lock down and covid nonsense should have been since the beginning.
