I got my leather wu-tang jacket autographed by GFK in 98”...I still have it
I'm gonna steal it.
Terrance Reid 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
How much?
Yo let me get that real quick
how much??
When he said he was poor but not like homeless I felt that. It really shows that people have different perspectives based on what they have been through. Something that seems bad to one person may not seem as bad to another based on experience.
perfectly articulated, exactly
This is so true. I grew up in the projects in the Boston area and my mother used to work at this center that connected people with resources. One day I was in her office and outside were boxes of Captain Crunch stacked taller than young me. I knew what she did and that they would be free so I asked whether we could take some, and she looked at me and said, "No. We are not THAT poor."
It was true. My parents always worked, we always had food and the lights on. Sometimes "Christmas missed us" in that we didn't get all the fancy bikes and Nintendos and what not, but we never needed the free Captain Crunch. That was for the people who were truly struggling.
@@keithmcmillan2752 that's a perfect example. My upbringing was twisted. I was the last of 4 kids and my father died in a car accident when I was 8 months old. He had life insurance and my mom used it to move into a better neighborhood so we could go to a better school. We were poor but we had clothes and food. I didn't even know my family was poor until around 5th grade when kids started telling me in a negative way. I didn't fit in at that school at all. Sometimes I feel like I would have been better off surrounded by kids that were like me but instead I was a black sheep. In turn, I've grown up and made a decent living for myself and my family. My kids are doing great in school and have never missed a meal. Now I see alot of people I grew up with having a hard time with life. I feel like all of my experiences has made me a stronger person and allows me to deal with problems a lot easier than these kids who had it easy because they never had to live without. It's interesting!
With 13 albums under his belt, they say it was Ghostface Killah who almost SINGLE HANDEDLY kept the lights on at the Wu Mansion.
You lying?
Ghost was always my GOAT WU even when other members were more up front.
Yea ghost kept the Wu name alive and popping
Yo Deck that nigga though. On everything I love !!!
Negative meth kept da eyes on da wu an kept da name buzzin at tht time underground was strong an ghost was able to survive off tht wave but method man kept da lights on an da name strong💪💪
he seent it, like a 72-inch Zenith, believe it!
The Wu-Cepticon nice caption
😅💯
""Like a 27 inch Zenith, believe it"
FYI, if you didn't know, Zenith was the best brand TV back in the 80's
Bishara Wilson and early 90’s
When the Wu was declining in the late 90's Ghost held the belts up and successfully defended the crown and put Wu back on top when he dropped the classic "Supreme Clientele." Facts.
That 1st episode of the Wu-Tang American saga series was FIYAHH💥💥👏🏾👏🏾
The whole series so far is 🔥
I would thumbs up but it's at 36 bro!!!
And yeah the series is fire!'
Mannn please tell me how to watch that shit in over here in Europe =/
Indo couple episodes are on CZcams.
Ghostface is the anti Tekashi......”Where were you at on the night of May 25th?” “In state, outta state, nawmean, here, there, wherever” .....”Could you clarify for the courts”.....”well, whatever whatever, nawmean?”......”No further questions your honor”
😂🤣
😂😂😂😂 "naww mean, however you gon take it man..."
Real sh** 😂😂😂
Na mean never snitched or whatever whatever 😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
So cool to see someone like Ghostface make it out alive, and still be grateful & humble for all that he’s been blessed with. He’s such a talented writer, yet he could so easily have ended up just another dude doing 25 to Life.
anyone else waiting on when he mentions raekwon shooting up his house?
Lord Chris Berg 😂😂😂
You notice he didn’t mention none of that shot that happened in the wu saga
This is an interview from 2014 😂
He don’t talk about that shit no more 😂
So that's who those characters are
Yeahhhhhhh. Looking through the archives of video. When he kissed him on the cheek in a video. I had a koolaid smile.
Who knows if that actually happened. It's a tv show so not everything is factual.
@@Rockscissorspaper its produced by the Rza And Gza. Think they may know
I love hearing any of the Wu talk. They're so inspiring. I'm up next
Tony Mack You rap man maybe we can link. I sampled lp’s but I’m trying to get more into creating my own music. I had like 3 different big keyboards i made some music with them and sold them. I’m going to get a small keyboard 🎹 because it feels more comfortable to me. I use a Mpc 2000xl also.
Tony Mack Btw I worked with a lot of emcees on CZcams. I got a collab playlist on my channel with songs and videos. All the sample beats I did I gave them away for free for the emcee mixtape or cd 💿 all of that was for me to build connections and get exposure.
Believe in yourself man, you can do it
Siddiq saunderson did a really great job at portraying Ghost. You can hear the hoarse in his voice exactly the way siddiq was talking in the series.
Dave East played the perfect method man
@MannyP it’s a really good cast ,the only problem I think people have is the dude portraying rza, the way he talks .
they don't sound anything a like , its been one of the biggest complaints from fans since day 1
@@abdel2695 Dude got the voice down. I think the only problem with The RZA’s character is that he doesn’t have that “aura” Ghost mentioned. I was just talking about this today! RZA is a polarizing figure. Dude portraying him isn’t showing that 🤷🏾♂️
Fact
This brother was always my favorite member of the Wu. He had the off beat flow with mad 70s and 80s references. He has been super sincere in his plight and where he has came from. Love the whole crew but always felt like Ghost spoke to me.
Ghost is the man. He seent it from the begining
One of the baddest MCs still
Quit making fun of slang and ebonics... that shit is beautiful.
you know i mean?
Kory Green it’s how we communicate.
Word iiiS BØND!!!!!
they must be smokin' on some Mexican leak, for real
@@DanielBiiiRHGRVEDiiiGGGER on God yo
Ray said (on Drink Champs )Ghost was the stick up kid and everyone had to watch him when he came to his projects 🤣🤣🤣
The episode when he was by himself right? I don't think he mentioned it when he was on the Wu episodes.
@TripJay21 odb was fly AF..just a bugged out nigga that can rap
I guess its all perspective . On the show 1st episode in Ray shot up my mans house with his brothers and mom dukes in the lab . If Ghost wasnt there to save them maybe we wouldnt have some of the dopest albums on earth by these 2 . Watchin this shit , i be feelin like Ray be paintin his own narrative in these interviews b. Cause hes the foul nigga on the show. If its real shit then you cant blame ghost at all b.
TripJay21 Ghost had the bitches too lol
@@rellysunshine9665 U God was the one with the bitches legend has it.
Ghost always been one of my favorite rappers shot out from bmore
you know whats crazy, alot of entertainers have said that they had dreams of being on stage and being successful. the chosen ones, theyre truly blessed
OTOLI X Agree! It’s about visualizing what is it you want, preparing for it and believing you already possess it before you have it. It’s like you can see, hear, taste, smell and touch the dream.
I love GHOST man...he so real and raw and dont fold for the money or bullshit...SOLID dude!!!!!
Did anybody hear Ghostface new album that he dropped yesterday... shit is flames 🔥 🔥
B Howell I will check it out!!
Thanks
Dennis always come with 🔥 one of my favorite rapper
shit is the truth!!

@@yezmirsheppard-halika6892 they trash
I saw interview where RZA said he was kinda like the calming influence for everybody as well. Ghost, Rae, Meth Deck Dirty all of those dudes was wilding the fuck out but would come to his spot to make music and they just begin to form, he even said all the dudes in Wu wasn't always necessarily cool at first but they would smooth it out over beats
Good thing RZA came into Ghost life...things coulda really went south here.
Rns
Know I mean
Yes
There's a purpose for everything it seems
Let's not forget Mobb Deep's contribution to Loud
"we knew we was gonna be the illest when we came in, we already knew that".. #Facts
Ghost is the dopest in the Wu. His voice on top of his lyrics and energy, this cat dropped nothin BUT dope verses imo. Love listenin to him spit straight fire.
Just Finished Ep. 7 of the Saga this Morning 🙌🏾🔥🔥 Best Show Out 2019!!
I’m 39 and Ghost still my favorite MC
This interview just inspired me✊🏾💪🏿
That beat in the back is fire
You could tell by Ghost-face swagger that Stapleton was no joke... They ate wonder bread 🍞 with sugar water
Once I heard the Wu, out of the blue, my family is from Shaolin.
Kory Green 👐🏼💯💯💯
Definitely grew up the same here on the west coast in the Bay Area. Wish sandwiches, 2 pieces of bread with barely any mayo and you wished you had a piece of meat. Sugar water to wash it down.
Johnny Herrera 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼💯💯💯💯💯 dinner was bread & toast uptown vibes
In the 80's Wonder bread was a luxury bro like $2.00...Lol... We ate Certified back then like $0.39 syrup sandwiches
that shade of purple shirt is what I imagine Ghost's aura to look like
Yo fr
I Haddox YOOO 🤣🤣🤣🤣! FRFR though, can SEE it!💯💯
Real shit from a legend. One of the reason y i dont doubt myself. Thank u
Episode 9 is serious. Wu Tang Forever
Rasheen Smith im waiting on it!!!
GFK repeats this story just like that skit on Cuban Links so you know it's authentic! "Yo, I had crazy visions..."
Remember to watch Wu Tang Clan: American Saga on Hulu!
Yo I gotta new hoooooo?!! niggas don't even know son just imagine the green joints right...
Glad this was just posted today, I was listening to Ghost Faces the halloween record

One thing I loved about Wu is that they never changed, nor sold out. Keep it 100 real hip hop Underground shit!
every time he says ya know what i mean everyone has to take one shot of vodka

Bond Leung shit, we'll be dead lmao
dawb86 ....Haha LOL, YOU know what I mean!!

Thats Ghost lets play a real game every time he says it you gotta sniff a line of coke I know Ghost personally thats how he gets down ...get your nostrils clear
i remember the feeling all i got is you gave me as a kid. didnt have it that rough but i felt it because my closest friend situation was like this.
MAD RESPECT BRO!🕊
Moments Overly Blessed
Ghost got a little emotional. Especially when he spoke on partners are doing 25 years for crimes. Ghost and Rae the best of all duets
Duels?
@@1.--_--.1 duet
lord luvs me exactly! Ghost has mentioned that his “partners” took all the blame so he could make it. That’s love right there. I hope Ghost takes good care of those guys.
@@rellysunshine9665 oh right on. That's love
@@rellysunshine9665 crazy part is aint nobody doin shit like dat now
I'm feelin theses Ghost and Rae videos. I love the Wu like it's still the 90s.
"I seent it." Needed this motivation today 👐
This man is my birthday twin I swear listening to him speak here amps me even more to be a better artist.
I remember Wu as the crew that brought hip hop back to the east coast.
Real shit, the Chi was more crazy in the 80's & 90's than now. Listening to Wu mostly, Ghost, Rae & Donna made me wanna seek knowledge of self & 5% nation. Eventually leaving hustling & banging cus i saw they were just like me. Wu forever
Just here to see if Hulu matched up his story with theirs. Lol
Lol right Thata my new fav show. I been looking up interviews to facts chk
Same here! 😂 I'm lovin this series!!
Rza has a lot to do with that show! So it better be close to the truth.
I have to say the beginning of the 1st episode threw me off! I always thought Ray and Ghost were always tight because they have the same swagger, always got verses on the same tracks, and usually if you see the whole Wu they are usually hanging out. I guess making millions together helps make up bad blood.
This dude a whole Legend
WITH THE BACKGROUND BEAT SEEMS LIKE HES RAPPING XD
...the guy raps one the best poetry of the last decades and yo'ure commenting about his talking habits.... come on ..just think !
His urban vernacular, that’s just how some of us talk. Doesn’t mean anything in my opinion when it comes to intelligence, some people just pronounce things differently than others. As long as you spell it correctly you’re fine.
Love the W... Dirty gritty in ya face baggy jeans, n wheats n blunts. Glad I was a teen in the 90s best era of hip hop....
I learned a lot from listening to the whole Wu-Tang Clan there knowledge is in there lyrics and I have got a lot from them
Alot of people making fun of the way he speaks. Instead you could be taking him as an example of having whatever you want in this life if you seen't it first and hold to that vision unconditionally.
Craig Robinson: "I seent it!"
Fire
If you don't listen real closely to Ghost, you might not know what he mean...
pleasebringmeback thats his heavy new york accent lol staten island is influenced with Italians so their accents are mixed in.
I think he’s referring to ghost saying ‘ you know what I mean’ so many times. You know what I mean
Your right bro , I seent it too
Man!!!🤦🏿♀️🤦🏿♀️
You can listen to Rae real closely, and still not know what the fuck he's talkin about haha
Seeing this after the wu series on Hulu makes a lot more sense
Who nu ..
“Stapleton, the Wild West park hill.”...-method man...
Respect the struggle & the hustle
Whateva whateva, imma borrow that for a few months. Thanx ghost
Bruh this foo was like yeah I was around rza a lot... rza”s sista
that part is fake I believe, RZA has three sisters, trust one of the sisters would've known
deekers215 they had enough going on , no need to fabricate that part
yo, the show not going to hit on every single of times past ach, open tour third eye to that.
@@deekers215 he actually has kids with one of rza's sisters.
Elias Arosemena I read he has like 3 kids with one of the sisters.
I seen't you break somebody's jawbone off! I SEEN'T it!
Yes boy you get it. Hell yeah I feel you dude.
wassup on SC 2 we waiting yo
Yall makin fun of the way GFK says "you know what i mean" but you gotta think about the fact that thats were he grew up, hearing people talk like that
Every region has their own
lingo!
Herard Longchamp word!, its a New York thing 😂 🗽
Exactly!!! If you're not from the big apple, you won't understand!
Memphis version is "uhurmi" for "you hear me?" The NY one that gets me is "gahed," for "go ahead."
You sound like a walking miracle after everything you’ve triumphed over!! I can relate 😒🖤
One of the flyest/nicest of all time. Maximum respect.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
I think he single-handedly made the verb "know" the most used verb in the history of language.
Nah. LL Cool J did.
Ghost with his authentic 90s new york accent 🕵
Love how ghost keeps shit realz son!!! I am grateful to have been apart of the Golden age of hip hop
I think Wu Tang clan you guys are Amazing keep doin what y'all do powerful
I love to just hear this dude talk lol
Him and Raekwon... they're both dramatic as fuck... everything is real and urgent with those cats, lol.
My pops used to talk just like this. It's just a 80s/90s NY thing lol
I seent it! #GFK

I really can't believe wu tang came together. They dead ass squashed beef with they ops and made magic. Talk about breaking statistics.
My projects was the "Fighting" projects🤣

Salute
At the end he talking the homey Understanding "BOOBOO" for the ones that don't know. Free UN
No mention of rae shooting up his crib (artistic liberty)
It is real or its just fiction for the tv show ?
@@obel2906 That is real.
I have never heard anyone mention Rae shooting up Ghost's house by any members, lyrics, or in the books, only that they had beef. It's hard to imagine they could let something like that go back in the day at that time - or not bring it up in interviews later. It is most likely a plot device used to move the story forward quicker.
The Dude popa wu said it in a interview way before the show even came out
The Dude look it up lmao i have heard raek say it himself, and they’re brothers now they dont want to bring it up
Been to a few of his shows, one of the best to me was at the Orpheum in ybor city, FL fr💯💪🏽#Wu
I’m glad he seent it.
Anybody notice, there is no mention of those two shooting at each other? SMH
Because that part was made up for Hollywood
Probably because it never happened.
Everytime Ghost is in the Chi I'm there. Wu Tang Forever... Mfs
One of my favorite Wu member
The goat. Best do ever do it
I was messin wit this pretty girl up in Spfld Mass with a prettier sister, I went to her house one day and Ghost was there. In the hood, too. He was watch Fear Factor.
I was waiting for MJB to break in and start singing "All that I got is you".
