Let's not get it twisted. If a woman is dating multiple men, she's NOT single. She is spreading her emotional availability across multiple men, and if she sleeps with a man, her emotional availability is even more invested in him. She's getting boyfriend energy from each of these guys she's "dating" as well. So there are relationship-esk investments being made by both sides. A woman isn't truly single unless she is not dating anyone at all, or at most, not seeing someone on a sexual pretense or a relationship pretense.
This whole boyfriend/girlfriend dating crap is all relatively modern. The rules are loose and undefined, so women feel like they can date multiple people and it won't negatively harm them or cost them some mental investment or emotional investment. But the men who date her understand it perfectly because often, her baggage falls on him to carry. Her "experiences" make her less loving and trusting, and all that gets taken out on the guy such that he has a whole other level of standards to meet.
And if a dude is going on dates with multiple women just to get to know them, does the same thought apply? Is he spreading his "emotional availability" with them too? Even though he's not with any of them exclusively? Or does that only apply to women because you're biased? 🤔
@@daowonimdee most men don't invest emotionally early in the dating phase. Most of the time, they invest by providing financially (they are expected to plan and pay for dates) and by providing protection for her (he is still expected to physically protect her from any potential threats).

Understanding or not, as an ALPHA male, if a woman tells me she's "dating" around, but still entertains me, I go into hunting mode. I'm gonna make all other suitors obsolete, a non-factor.
