- A travel vlog from our trip to Maastricht in Limburg, Netherlands. We explore the city, stay in a hotel, visit nice restaurants and do some sightseeing. The video is silent, with no talking, just subititles.
We travel to Maastricht by train and stay at a hotel in the city center. We walk around, go to the market and city park, different churches and a cool bookstore that is inside of an old church. We eat a lot of good food, have a several meal dinner at an asian restaurant and visit a medieval bakery.

In January I visited Venlo and Utrecht and was very charmed.

Maastricht is really nice!! And haha yes, I couldn’t resist going there as I love cooking Asian dishes 😊
There are Asian markets everywhere. I've even seen the evidence on one of those Mars videos, lol. BTW "lol" is a Dutch word meaning mischievous (prank-like) fun.
I just HAD to watch this video again, it was that interesting. But vlaai for brekky? "Oos Mam" would never have tolerated that!

Fun fact did you know that there was a famous well maybe not so famous prehistoric creature called the mosasaur or mosasaurus those first found in a dutch quarry in Maastricht in the 1760s because at the time nobody knew what prehistoric creatures were they didn’t know with dinosaurs were woolly mammoth sabertooth cats not even the mosasaur and the first guy who looked at the mosasaur fossil in Maastricht thought it was a whale or maybe a crocodile and one person even thought that it was a dragon slaying by medieval night probably five centuries earlier but it wasn’t like for another 40 maybe 60 years until they found out what it really was and it was a lizard an actual lizard and was 40 feet long and weighed 10 tons and it lived about 85 million years ago and dominated the oceans and seas successfully during the dinosaur era in late Cretaceous period and there was an inland sea called The Western Interior Seaway and it was 600 miles wide 3000 feet deep and 2000 miles long and stretched all the way from Gulf of Mexico to mid western us and up to the tip of Canada 🇨🇦
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!

Drie jaren geleden was ik de eerste keer in Maastricht. Ik ken de oorden in de stad. Heel leuk, speciaal! Sorry If you don't speak Dutch but I'm learning and love to practise the language.😍

Your Dutch is very good. My problem is my phone won't allow me to spell Dutch properly and it takes many tries on each word before the correct spelling stops changing by itself to some often non- applicable English word. Do you have that problem? Why? Why did this not get addressed to Hanno?

Having left Limburg in '53, I really enjoyed this too short and fast trip. I had to stop the video several times and rewind to see items deserving a closer look and would have appreciated verbal comments on sights seen.
