Nobody talks about the parts like "When the night ends it's not over, we fight through to get closer, like a silver bullet piercing through" is clearly a leitmotif of "Bury the light deep within! Cast aside there's no coming home!" (Or vice versa depending on how you wanna look at it), and I love that about this song so much.

Even better, “Embrace the darkness that’s within me” it’s practically the same as “bury the light deep within” except the entire meaning is flipped with embracing being the antithesis to burying away and darkness being the antithesis to light.
Bury The Light has some masterful use of leitmotif, like DMC3's Vergil motif from Devils Never Cry appearing directly in lines like "Beyond the dream, fires burn"
This song and bury the light (as you might already know) was made by Casey edwards and it was kind of intentional for it to sound the same. He said something about that in an interview I saw with him in it but I can’t for the life of me remember the CZcamsr who did it.

nero really went from being the most boring character to the most fun. future games dont even need dante and vergil they should add a rival to nero and continue with their stories
Well to be honest the entire series was about Dante and Vergil. That was their story. And if they add rival for Nero, who? Will it turn out as Dante also had a child? Too boring and kinda predictable. And I doubt that there's someone who can keep up with Nero now since there's no Dante or Vergil.
I felt vergil was the most boring, honestly. His humanity actually gave him character (this includes gameplay)
I always liked Nero but it's true that DMC5 is a huge improvement.
Story wise, I think Nero is more interesting, but gameplay wise, Dante mops the fucking floor with Nero. I just wish Nero would pick up another fucking weapon.
@@TDJunkie226 To be honest, would be complicated to keep the "timing" mechanics Nero has with the Red Queen if he could use other weapon, maybe just cramming an engine in everthing he uses could be the solution, which, fair, would be weird, but...not exactly out of character...

@@s-boy4613 Yeah but the music is too good. I listen to the lyrics, and I understand Vergil's internal storm (ha), but the music is just TOO GOOD, I feel like I could do 200 push-ups or run 50kms or BOTH (I can't do either) and I love it.

Ive always liked nero ever dmc4, Didn't care about the hate my boy was getting he was just awesome to me, i'm so glad dmc5 did him justice, He's such an underrated _deadweight_ angsty teen who doesnt hesitate to speak his mind, and more emotional than both dante and vergil, Which makes him standout even more.
He even has a very badass Song just like his father, Love the references in each of them that mirrors the other.
Like father, like son, this statement will be even truer once he gets as much love as vergil does.
