    Just ordered the brunny trucks!! I currently have the sure grip park series trucks. for anyone wondering, they clear the king pin and have a rounded bottom like the CIB trucks. I would assume they are the heaviest because they are taller than the other trucks. No clipping issues, adjusting to the height took about a week!

    I also was super annoyed by Ridge, when I emailed them asking what their threading was they acted like that was an insane question, and when I asked them to ask their supplier they refused. And I also had a blemish on the axle that got a bearing stuck on it and I had to destroy the bearing to get it off and sand the axle. annoying. Beautiful though, I love the color shift. Same as you, when I broke a truck (some generic, not even ridge) it just felt like my trucks were really loose, i thought maybe my axle nut had fallen off.

    I have a 16 degree plate.. trying to find out if there is any wide truck that fits.. it was already a nightmare to fit a block.. but my kingpins are sticking out. Cant cut them cause than there is no space to fit the trucks and cushions, etc.. am i missing something here??

    Sorry I keep commenting! I did double conical cushions to make them lower so the truck would fit better. I later bought more conicals and saw they were taller so that's not a reliable solution, "double conical" doesn't work every time. The cushions I had that were shorter were just bullshit ones I bought off ebay, some no name brand from China.

    Did you have to get used to the weight of using wide trucks and how heavy are your roller skates with them?

    • @Elsiemerolling
      @Elsiemerolling  Před 2 lety

      I thought I would but I actually didn't have to! The weight of skates varies slot based on boot, shoe size etc, but I give the weights of the different trucks in the video :)

    Depending on your plate, you might also be able to just replace the kingpin with a shorter hex bolt. That's what I did with my Sunlites, made a video about it: czcams.com/video/mV56rqO68sg/video.html

    I’m sorry if I missed this in your video, were any of these comparable with the Avanti plates?

      I have the Ridge trucks in combination with the Avanti Aluminum plates! Though the kingpin does stick out just a tiny bit

    Where did you get your penny trucks? I had such a hard time finding them and I don’t want the ridge ones :(

      Hi Elsie, can you tell me more about what you didn’t like about the Avanti mag plate please? I was thinking about switching from the reactor neo but I don’t want to make a costly mistake!
