    Given two particles that are in an entagked state, once one ifbthem strikes a third particle, the original entanglement us broken, thus, an observation occurred. No need fir conscious human brings. Also, there is a difference between a space-like effect vs a spacetime effect. Entanglement is a space-like effect.

    Shanni Prutchi You are in inspiration! If possible I would love to see a video of your lab setup in more detail. I have always been fascinated by quantum experimentation is was great to finally see a scientist talk about their work.

    Absolutely amazing...I am so intriqued by quantum mechanics...I dont think I have been this interested in something for a long time...Nice presentation..very clear and concise. I am am avid physicist..like,beginner, rookie, avid..lol..but I love it...I would love to be able to network w you regarding your research and findings...I so wish I could afford the set up..totwlly cool..and moderately simple..but, i do imagine the initial calinration being a bit tricky..how did u know where the proton was being recieved im terms of your targeting or projection..not sure about the termimology..anyway, nice work..

    How important is the thickness of the crystal?
    I saw that there were some bbo crystals with a thickness of 0.05 mm and even 0.01 mm?

      The thicker it is, more probable the down conversion.

      There is another question that intrigues me.
      Why is there a focusing lens in front of the photons detectors?
      This is understandable for a light beam of a certain width containing a large quantity of photons, but what is the use for a single photon detector. ?

    @ 4:21 I guess her intentions were good, but the presentation is way too hasty (at least for me). And, as usual, the camera-work is terrible: focussing on the speaker and not on the slides. In short, a very badly prepared conference.
