In every legend there are grains of the truth scattered throughout. It takes a special person that has a passionate and keen mind to see those grains of truth as they truly are. I believe that Graham Phillips is such a person. Often differences in language lead to misunderstanding and confusion. His analysis and conclusions are all very convincing, especially about the names of Arthur (the bear) and Uther Pendragon (the terrible head dragon) being battle names and not actual names. We will all know the truth when (not if) they finally do an archeological excavation at Graham's proposed burial site.

Would love to see a follow up episode of this.

This is the 4th episode of this dude's show I've watched in a row. It's 7:45 pm on a Friday night in America. Either I have no life, or this guy makes great documentaries. Both, actually.

The discovery of Richard III’s burial place is really an inspiration to all amateur historians!!!! I wish to see how common men and women make changes in our history!

  • @badbiker666

The difference between amateur and professional historians is the amateur's ability to obsess over the details of one particular event, historical figure, or geographical region. A pro can't do that and retain their reputation. Amateurs can afford to be wrong! Pros can't. Lynn Picknett pointed out the success of the amateur who found Richard III's grave, and an incredibly unlikely place. Philippa Langley is now referred to as a British historian when at the time she was the President of the Richard III fan club and spent a decade putting together the clues necessary to find him. Pros don't have that kind of time to dedicate to one project like that.

“I have proof 12th century “ “what’s your proof?” “We have a plaque here” 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

  • @benjaminrush4443

Plausible to me is the Annals of the Welsh Priests. Arthur in around 520 AD the victorious recording of an Arthur in the Battle of Badon between Britain's and the Anglo-Saxons.

  • @noahtylerpritchett2682

I never think about that, Arthur being a title instead of a name.

  • @oriraykai3610

What's amazing is that the whole area where he ostensibly lived is still as undeveloped as it was 1500 years ago, except for the removal of the swamp. To find an undisturbed 1500 year old grave of an important leader in the middle of nowhere would be a great find.

No mention of the knights who say “Ni?”

  • @chris.asi_romeo

Excellent documentary 👏👏. I love watching this forbidden history series of documentaries. 💯💯💯👏👏

  • @tarbhnathrac2486

Who or what entity owns the land with the scan anomaly? What would it take for permissions to be granted to dig? Why hasn't this process been at least started? Why aren't archeologists jumping all over this?

  • @jamesknott5255

Most of these “experts” seem to be the very same self important “know it alls” one would expect them to be. It’s not just the facts, if at all, that draws people to the “once and future King”, and the mythology. It’s the desire for something greater. A fantastic tale that “could” be true, and not only that but that you can even GO to these very same places mentioned in the stories. A fantastical tale that they can be a part of.

  • @nanoyabarrett8852

This is so very interesting. Love Graham.

  • @michaeltelson9798

There may have been a hero, then they added aspects of Charlemagne such as a special sword and his Paladins under different names to create a British hero in the same mold.

  • @TheSonicdruid72

Graham Is my new Spirit Animal! His passion/Obsession is contagious. I hope his theory is taken seriously by someone who has the clout to do some serious archaeological research

  • @Kirdiegirl72

I am very sad that there was no King Artur

  • @lindathomson3270

I’m convinced. Well done. Hope to see more ❤❤❤❤

  • @JmesFloyd76

King Arthur is a composite of several king warriors from Brittany to Cornwall and Wales. Legends, myths, and embellished tales all have grains of truth in them that makes the stories believable.

  • @jiwik731

His theory makes so much sence.
