Hello Steve, I'd like to see you review the fundamental differences between the Legacy Sketch Constraint Functionality and the New Sketcher Relation Functionality and hear your viewpoints.
Have you noticed how Renewing a Legacy Sketch to a New Sketch changes the Current Feature to the Sketch Feature Timestamp? Does this bother you, that when you Finish the Sketch after Renewing it, the Current Feature isn't returned to the Feature that was the Current Feature prior to Renewing the Legacy Sketch? This disorienting behavior isn't a big deal when the Legacy Sketch is the last feature in the Timestamp Order, but that is rarely the case when editing and revising existing models of Products.
Thank you for your excellent perspectives on these topics.

The shake and release function goes way back to Siemens Catchbook. Is it safe to say that Solid Edge sketcher engine is now being used in NX? These new functions appear to be in Solid Edge for quite away.

personally I do a ''sketch'' 4 each parameter! but now with the ''algorithmic modeling'', U want need any of that! not 2 jump into the weeds to hard.
but I would say algorithmic modeling, was first guessed as the molding inside or outside dynamo. since it's so easy to add ribb's & other features! I bought the 2021 Siemens NX book!
& yup it's so out of date! nice tut as always! yup! ''on path'' ! way 2 go! good luck Steve!

You can type in the NX search bar "Use the new solver and UI for sketching" or, alternatively, you can click file -> Utilities -> Early Access Feature -> Use the New Solver and UI for Sketching. Switch the State to Off.

Feels like there's plenty of unnecessary slowing elements in the new sketcher system greatly worsening the user experience. Include? That's some wildfire 1980 debris right there... They probably thought the old system was far too advanced and with Creo/PTC and co. still hanging around, they must've thought a great idea was to make their own product worse matching their 1980 speed... I understand memory conservation, but not at the expense of excessive slowing in the day to day, no one builds an entire aircraft in a single part.
