2024 Nursing Convocation & Pinning Ceremony

On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, the CUNY School of Professional Studies Nursing Programs hosted the 2024 Nursing Convocation and Pinning Ceremony.
This annual special event serves to highlight the hard work and dedication that the nursing students of CUNY SPS have exhibited in pursuit of their degrees.
The Convocation featured a keynote address delivered by Melissa Hinds, MSN, RN. Melissa is the Director of the Online Assistance Unit, and Associate Director for Health and Technology at the Center for Practice Innovations, Division of Behavioral Health Services and Policy Research of the New York State Psychiatric Institute. Melissa is also a proud alumna of the CUNY SPS nursing program, having earned both her BSN and MSN through our school.
The ceremony also included remarks from a graduating nurse representing the BSN and MSN programs, respectively.
