- A lot of you seemed to enjoy my last video about toys r us un-aliving itself so I decided to make another one! This time we take a look at a few toys r us stores around the United States to see how they currently look vs how they used to look. Their locations are shown at the bottom of the screen since I used google maps to obtain the photos and attain a proper comparison. Enjoy :)

the year toys-R-us died is honestly when everything started feeling modern to me, like my childhood was finally over. yeah my life wasn't ruined by their closure, i'd even say i was somewhat indifferent to it, but the world felt quite a bit less fun when the store near me closed.
it is now a planet fitness. yippee.
I never wanted to grow up and wish I could have been a Toys R Us Kid FOREVER!😭

One memory I have of TRU is going very late, probably shortly before closing time just to get some Play-Doh Plus, which was new around that time. That Toys “R” Us turned into a furniture store in late 2019. There’s actually still a Toys “R” Us in Cardiff Bay that’s still currently abandoned, it was spared by the council and used as a vaccination clinic. It currently lacks TRU signs but is mostly intact.

As Toys "R" Us are coming back i think that they should rebuy some of those buildings like , y'all know those who wasn't bought and re-open at least one shop . It will make people really happy because yk we will be able to feel old toys R Us because new one are in malls not buildings yk

I grew up in mid 2010s and i remember screaming TOYS R US everytime we passed by our local one but i was sad when it closed and i have no existing memory about toys r us except for that one

The two in Cranberry Township, PA and Newport News, VA: the Tigard, OR Toys "R" Us (10085 SW Cascade Ave., just west of the Washington Square mall) looked just like that in the 1990s; it was originally built in 1981 with the colored planks exterior and looked very similar to the two in Clackamas and Jantzen Beach that both opened in 1980.

long story: me and my family were at toys r us and i got a new toy. we went to the car and drove up the mountain but then our tire popped. so we were there for like an hour and it was 10:03 pm but my dad had an idea to call his mom and pick us up so that’s what he did and we got back home

As an 11 yr old(almost 12), I remember a lot of memories of toys r us of when I was way younger (like way younger 2-6 yrs old) I miss it and I hope it will come back :(

I used to go to toys r us with my parents. it was fun. I was shocked when I found out they went out of business forever.
Stores/restaurants that I think should be out of business by now:
Chick Fil’ A: they’re super homophobic and push their religion too far
Chuck E. Cheese: a terrible place for autistic kids and the mascot probably doesn’t think very much about kids who aren’t white or aren’t straight
Claire’s: some of the items contain asbestos and many products there aren’t attractive to some kids
Dollar Store: they have shitty ass products that break easily and have only 00.1% of effort put into them
Hobby lobby: they steal stuff from other countries and claim it as their own
Walmart: they treat their costumers and employees like shit and have very low quality products
