Armanz in 4 piece stoneskin rarely need a team built around him.
I have the same issue: i run a go second tanky def nukers team but i have to pick armanz you can't leave it to your opponent
FYI the reason soul reap wasn’t killing Harima is because her passive applies to the soul reap damage, part of why I choose not to use soul reap on anyone

I've had a more successful win rate since I stopped picking Armanz, even when I get the first pick. That way I usually get my best 4 champs Duchess, Pythion, Harima, Wukong and my 5th will be based on the 4 champs they pick besides Armanz who I auto-ban.
I have a question about Crushing Rend. It says the first hits of each round. Does it actually mean each turn of the character? It is confusing. For example, the spider is all just one round. So does that mean only 1 hit(or more depending on blessing level) ignores defense and that's it?
Crushing Rend up to 6* is only "first hit" in a round. So yes, Spider is only 1 round, you only get one hit with Crushing Rend. Hydra heads seem to be the exception, they count as new when they respawn.
Only from 1* - 5*.

He's only good as a counter pic to an arbiter or speed booster and all of these people are picking him into Angora and duchess.
All the people who picked Tormin started by picking Armanz, so maybe they were thinking Eharbad might pick Tormin as an Armanz counter?
3 minutes to draft the first battle. God, it's torture. I can't imagine me ever even doing 5 live arena battles a day. I've been on the "win 20 battles in live arena" Marius mission for about a week, and I'm half done. I just can't stomach more than a battle a day, even when I win in a few seconds.
