I’ll say it again, I would LOVE for Cay and Eugene to adopt a kid or two!
It’s been ages since anyone in the legacy adopted, and you could even fully skip the infant/toddler stage. I know science babies are so amazing, but there’s still a special place in my heart for the adoption system in the Sims❤️

Yea they should adopt after having a biological kid remember the point of a legacy challenge is to carry on genetics
they could adopt but Cay would still need to have a child that's biologically related to him to carry on the legacy. having both is a fun idea but it could potentially put a damper on things to know that the adopted children wouldn't be eligible as the heir. i would love to see a type of multi generational challenge with adopted heirs, though! :)
going insane at 2/3 replies to this comment being anti adoption by implying theyre not real kids inheriting a legacy. genetics mean nothinggggg youre (general You, not person i am replying to) not going to live on via genetic children. you live on through the lives you touch and improve. i dont want any kids myself, adopted or genetic, but still drives me insane.
@@SanguineCrow i'm not at all implying this to real life, but a lot of people play Legacy Challenges in the TS to see how the games genealogy system works, how the sims evolve genetically and resemble their predecessors etc. that's why a lot of players choose not to adopt in legacies like this one, not because they think adopted children are any less worthy of an actual inheritance irl ..
not that this matters for literally anything, but as a software engineer we do often add something called a “heartbeat” to programs as a counter that’ll continually iterate as a way to check if a server or program is still running. so i mean it’s not a wild idea that the robots might actually have a heart rate 😅

i wanna see a future bell named june, so they can continue on the naming convention from april and august of the bird family and may from tinkers generation.
also, ive seen the name sleigh tossed around in relation to jingle bell, but sleigh isnt really a real given name (i mean, neither is cay)... so i was thinking the name soleil could work too! it sounds phonetically similar to sleigh, and it would also be a funny juxtaposition of a name, referencing something wintry despite "sol" being in the name.
i was also thinking of the name ben, like big ben, the great bell of the clock tower of london.

I’m not sure if you’re opposed to using mods or not but I remember in your last video you were having trouble deciding between science baby and sim pregnancy and there’s a mod that lets you do both a science baby and have the option of one of your sims being pregnant. Just thought you should know ☺️

So in my legacy game, the house for last generation had a sauna in the basement (The house was modeled after the house my grandparents built themselves and yeah it had a sauna in the basement lol) and now that I've moved on to a new house I really do miss having that sauna. It was just so handy for some cute "date at home" nights or when a sim comes home all tense from work or school I could send them to sweat it out so they could do their homework without complaint or whatever. But yeah there was a lot of awkward moments too with someone going into the sauna to chat while not actually sitting in the sauna. just felt so awkward like they were judging the ones in the towels. lol

I actually like stories like were childhood friends get together, obviously in the sims you have to pretend that they liked each other but they dated other people instead until they are adults and profess their love for each other. That's also why none of their relationships worked out because they was pining for someone else.
