SDSU Aztecs fans gather on campus to send basketball team off to Houston and Final Four

- The San Diego State University men's team is heading to Houston for their first ever Final Four game against Florida Atlantic University on Saturday, April 1.
Kid getting autographs is genius. He’ll either have a nice memento or a one of a kind collectible come Monday.

I lived in SD for only 3 months in 2015 but best part of my life and I still have SD in my heart until now. So glad for this team!

It's so great to see fans support our team that is heading off on the most incredible run of any Aztec team ever! There are 363 Division 1 Basketball teams! There are only 64 that even make the playoffs! Now it gets harder. You have to win 6 more games to be a CHAMPION! SDSU has won 4 and needs 2 more. AZTECS FIGHT---->

dang UCSD really became D1 and then this happens lmao they fallin off real fast/never were quite that big at sports, hopefully that changes soon. Too much bureaucracy in college sports management and business interests that make it difficult to do it. In the meantime I hope SDSU represents San Diego big.

That's the athletics center right off Campus thats were the weight room and athletic trainers are. Other staff are in the building as well. Frat row is adjacent as well as the arena. Im sure the school told when they were leaving, given the news cameras. Interestingly enough, more people would be there, but it's spring break, so most of the students are gone.
