My main issue with Cena these days is, while I respect they want him to put over rising stars, the accomplishment of beating John Cena has been cheapened in the past couple years. Almost anytime Cena has come back in the last 10 years, he loses. Someone beating 2010 Cena clean? That's a major accomplishment. Beating current year Cena? Everyone else has done it already.
HHH is a good booker. No such thing as perfect but he has a modern mindset and he’s a man who’s been through it all. Combine that with his near death experience, the hiring of Khan the conqueror and you can see the passion in the end product. Then you think about the way Hickenbottom Break Kid is booking NXT (full of legitimate athletes who get scouted from colleges) and the future looks insanely bright! WWE has already kicked off with the 2024 with a huge bang. This past Monday Night RAW The Rock returned and teased facing Roman Reigns, I can’t wait for the back and forth promo’s between those two. Cody Rhodes can finally finish the story beating Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Championship, Seth Rollins and CM Punk facing each other at WrestleMania 40 for the World Heavyweight Championship and hopefully LA Knight can defeat Logan Paul for the United States Championship at WrestleMania YEAH! I think this is gonna be a very special year for the company and I’m here for the entire ride 💯
Some predictions from someone who literally just got into wrestling this year, mainly due to story stuff 1. Final 4 mens rumble are CM punk, LA knight, Cody, Gunther. Either Randy or AJ is 5th, and final two are Cody and CM punk 2. Final 4 Womens rumble are Asuka, Bayley, Becky, Cargill. Asuka betrays Bayley, by maybe trying to get her eliminated while the other two are in a position to be eliminated, or something like that. Bayley forgives her, hugs her, before Asuka is eliminated and Bayley ends up winning. Smackdown after, The rest of Damage control turns on Bayley, with Iyo being slightly reluctant. After a week or two of building, Rhea confronts and comforts Bayley, and makes it clear that she can challenge her, or Iyo. Bayley chooses Iyo, to "Prove herself". Rhea doesn't turn face, it's just respect from her 3. Chad Gable gets a good showing at the rumble, eliminating multiple people, and only being beaten by Cody and Knight teaming up. After this, he wins an elimination chamber match to decide Gunther's WM opponent, and goes on to end Gunthers Reign 5. Cena returns at the rumble, after Solo has laid out everyone, and he does his own Samoa Spike to Solo, and eliminates him. Punk (And maybe Orton if he is in the rumble) Eliminate him. Cena v Solo at Mania, some sort of insane stipulation, Cena wins after a brutal match 6. At wrestlemania, Cody challenges Roman, after Roman beat The Rock at Elimination chamber. The extended anoa'i family try to run in, but are stopped by those Roman beat and hurt (Cena, Orton, Knight, Jey, Sami and Kevin) and Cody beats Roman. Maybe Damian tries to cash in here, maybe Punk V Rollins, but if here, isn't successful.
