You live in a beautiful romantic old village your friends are lucky you prepared a wonderful buffet for them 😊😊 Mathew is a great help to I remember growing up in aus most backyards had fruit trees and espescially a plum tree we loved climbing to eat there no backyards anymore all sold off for units and townhouses no backyards but lucky you can forage wild tasty plums I rarely see them in the supermarkets in summer and ones I do taste sour not fresh off a tree such a lovely family you are thanks for another relaxing scenic video

I'm amazed that the other villagers don't seem to forage in the forrest as much as you. There seems to be plenty of fruit and herbs.
I've never seen people eat those kind of shell fish here (in New Zealand).
I have seen only a couple of empty shells like that on our beaches here.
Paua, mussels, oysters and crayfish are popular here.
Cool to see even the small smip bits of kicking the ball and eating ice-cream.
Your boy seems so happy with everything you do. Its all fun to him. So neat to see.

That was a beautiful presentation of all different kinds of fishes with vegetables, it looks so appetizing. As always, I think your village is a beautiful place to live. The fruits of the forest looked so juicy and tasteful. Maybe you should collect more of the plums and make plum jam. I wish I was living in such a peaceful and happy surroundings. You chose the right place to live and you’re close to other beautiful areas that you can explore and enjoy. 😊⭐️

I am American. I have only enjoyed whelks in Great Britain and Spain and I have had them (maybe) raw or parboiled. They were fine eating!

Does Matt have any friends his age in your village? I believe he is in school so he would have playmates there, but the school may not be in your village.
Also, I had to laugh at picking plums. My father was first generation Czech American. The Czechs are expert mushroom hunters and my dad knew his mushrooms. One fall, his sister came for a visit. She and my mom went for a walk in the woods and discovered a huge growth of mushrooms. Like you, they had nothing to put them in, so my aunt took off her panty hose and they filled the panty hose with mushrooms! My parents dried them on screens outside during the day, then inside at night. Nice memories. Hopefully, your family will hold your adventures close as well.

I love your channel so much. Thank you for sharing so generously. It is rare to eat whelks in the US, where I live. I love all seafood but have never had them. I want to move to FR before or when I retire. I traveled to Nice + Grasse in May and ate squid or calamari almost every day I was there… fabulous. Also really enjoyed la socca for tte first time. Thank you for sharing your beautiful village, family, and life with us.
Ps: do most towns have public fountains or water sources like yours? So nice + different from the US.
