It wouldn’t surprise me if the driver was fine - modern cards are miraculous with safety for those in them. Plus he was spinning and didn’t hit straight on, so lots of energy went into the spin, and the impact was on the passenger side. But regardless… still terrifying, not at all funny
I'm willing to bet whoever it was, was ok. If their were a passenger, maybe not so well. The driver side looked pretty good.

Don't feel bad for pudgy - I'm sure he went home, sat down in his oversized la-z-boy and began contemplating how he'd tell his grandchildren about the time he squared off with a venomous snake and saved the day. He's content with his life, he doesn't need your pity. Laugh at his as much as you can - he's American and it comes with the territory.
What usually catches my attention in dashcam videos is how the out of control car will be fine unless it hits the ONE thing that could destroy it...and that's the one thing it hits.
