I just watched this hole video for the 3rd time! You guys do a great job on information about why you do and how to get your gun to shoot the shots you do! My impact will be in my hands before Christmas from Utah Airguns. Keep up the great work guys and thank you for all the great information again!
Watched it front to back Boyz! Loved every minute of it because it answered a lot of questions and pondering for me and I would bet a lot of people. Anyways, it gave me an excuse to not work on the bathroom project while momma was away....hehehe. Thanks for sharing your amazing arsenal with us all.
Bret Lawson haha. Good for you bret, glad we could be a bad influence for an hour! Now get to layin tile or whatever it is momma wants!
thanks bret. we are glad you liked it.thanks for your support and staying with us buddy
Thanks, I watched the whole thing and thoroughly enjoyed it. Beautiful airguns, interesting commentary and great humor. You 3 are special. Would like to see some of that 200+ yard shooting. Take care.

OMG 😲 How did y'all know I needed this guide?? Y'all are awesome!!! Thank you for all the time put in to this video.
Our pleasure Joey!
your more than welcome joey. we have a ton of people asking us what they should buy what we suggest for them. so we figured we would take the time out and show a lot of guns and explain all about them. thanks for your support my friend
I waited years to save up enough to get my self an FX-Indy and by the time I had enough I found out it was discontinued... so after another year or so of CZcams research you boys helped me settle on what is my first FX-Impact in .22 with the 700mm barrel and man was it is the gun I don't know I needed but now that I have one I'll never go back! The lady will be getting a dreamline wen it comes time but myself it's worth every penny to get what you really want and not just what you can afford at the time save up and get it done! Thanks to everyone that has helped me make one of the beat buys of my life!
🥃cheers🍻
great to hear brother. im glad we could help you out my friend. congrats on your impact and your lady will absolutely love the dreamline
For sure thank you again you guys are killing it literally and figuratively!
Thanks so much Jack! So glad you got your dream gun!
I'm getting a new impact in .22 I have a .25 impact but I'm liking all she slug options in .22 and I need the m3 for the quick tune. You guys have the best videos out these days. Love it when you just sit down and talk gun .
Thanks bro! Let us know if you need any setting suggestions!
This was a great video. You helped me decide that my next gun will be the Wildcat Mk3. Thanks!
Great format and thanks for adding the timestamps. 🏁

as far as i'm concerned this video did'nt go on to long, if it was 24 hours i would have just got a crate of beer and watched to the end because you guys are fantastic. keep the camera's rolling :)
Haha thanks so much man!
Watched the whole hour,12 mins and 48 sec and enjoyed all of it! Great breakdown of guns guys! Cheers from New Orleans 🍻

@@normanshanley7417 you guys definitely did that and beyond. Man to be honest for the average Air gun shooter I really think that dreamlite will get it done but for me the looks and performance of the new fx impact with the power plenum is pure sex!!!!😁

What a treat to hear to hear Steve from the Airgun Evolution channel behind the camera!

Thank you, all 3 of you, for sharing the knowledge. So much better than just the Impact all the time. There are so many other guns that are amazing too. Very enjoyable to watch and absorb everything talked about from knowledgeable shooters. Really enjoyed the MK3 Wildcat. No dis on the Impact, but just like something different once in a while. Take care and God bless.

Colorado Airgun Enthusiast your the best brother
@@68Whiskey The reason why people in NYC do not like guns is because they are so messed up in the head, trying to make up their own reality, that they are afraid they will shoot themselves in the head. I would probably shoot myself in the head if I lived there, just because I would think that is what mankind is, (dysfunctional), and I could not stand it. :) No more city for me. I want my feet on the ground. They call it "progress" and "moving forward", (forward to a societal cliff). They are already dead, and do not know it.
At the time he did this video he had no idea how well he would do. God bless you Keith and again awesome shooting bro.
Thanks so much brother. It still isnt quite as real as you would think it would be!

Serious air rifle envy. Awesome lineup.
Great video!!! Been wanting to get into pcp’s and knew I wanted an FX but had many questions. This video helped me to decide which one to buy.
Awesome glad we could help bro!
I just ordered a Dream-Tact Compact from UA based on your endorsement of it. It will be my first FX. Thanks for your help.
Our pleasure. Thats a great gun!
I’m purchasing a .35 for the exact same reason, I have a few coyotes attacking my chickens and I can’t fire my powder burners within city limits, so thank you for not only clearing that up but also giving me a reason to justify my purchase
Our pleasure!
So this is why I couldn't find the gun I wanted from Utah Air Guns, you guys bought them all. So I had to settle for the FX Boss, don't get me wrong I wanted the Boss any way, but now we know what happened to all the Impacts. lol Stay Safe Guys

This is a great video ,if you are thinking about buying a high level pcp then you should watch this video. hello happy new year. can you tell me about the wildcat sniper mk3 6.35 a good tuning how many bars in the regulator and how many mm out in the hammer ?thanks
Guys, it was awesome thing to hear your experiences, gear and setups. Keep shooting and also big thanks to Steve for professional taking care of camera 👍😀
thank you sir
Thanks so much! We were nervous it would be too long but glad folks are enjoying it!
Great videos, very entertaining and informative.
Could you please include the pressures start and end volumes plenum, and reservoir bottle, shot count to fall off the regulator,, and setting on regulator like you mentioned 140 to 160 Bar and usually end up at 150 Bar but a little more specific? You don't have to dwell on it, but just mention and we can either freeze-frame or skip back. Reservoir bottle volume and plenum volume and if you can the valve spring setting, hammer spring Macro, and or micro-adjustment setting.
I watched the video to the end, and I'll watch it again and take more notes. The best part was the $30 red Ryder with $500 in accessories, that was hilarious but curiously tempting. I would advise using it as a home defense weapon after attaching a K-Bar bayonet to the barrel.
Thank you so much for the wealth of entertainment, knowledge, and education as I now have a better feel for what pcp to concentrate on.
The scope video you make is what I will have on my priority list to watch as I intend to buy the scope first then the platform with interchangeable caliber barrels, but no 177, largest bottle with highest bar pressure, longest barrel and biggest moderator.
Stay safe and Godspeed.
FJB Out!

Great info and video gentleman! I got to thinking.. and you guys have probably already thought on it. After you talked about gearing up with the thermal imaging and night vision scopes for dark hunts, I wonder how a pellet with glow in the dark nail polish behind it would perform in the scope cam? I would like to think it would be pretty awesome footage through a night vision scope, but I’m just speculating! Thanks again keep on keepin on!!
oh yeah, we are messing around with that stuff as we speak!
Haha awesome can’t wait for the videos!!
I almost dominoed all the guns over when I was pointing something out on the yellow crown and it started to tip over, luckily I caught it but I gave myself a heart attack in the process........ not the first time iv knocked over one of norms guns though...

Great video of wome great guns . Thanks guys ! One question , I just got a new Superior Smooth X 22 700mm barrel . Will it shoot both pellets and slugs or just one of them ?
It will shoot both but it might prefer a lighter slug depending on which one you have. Just play a little through the weight selection and youll find one it really likes. My guess it that liner will shoot the fx hybrids very well
Hello Norm, like your Wildcat butt stock mono pad. Did you fabricate it or ordered from someone? I am interested on adding it to my Wildcat for table target shooting. Thanks for the video...
Shallow vie angle, but at min 34:11, what is that red looking material that looks like it is packed in that .35 pellet. Is that some flammable material for much better fps/fpe? Dieseling, (what is a loaded pellet), I think it technically makes a pellet gun a firearm. Nobody caught it yet though. :)
Very nice 👌 👍
Thanks stedy!

I remember the video of the red rider, it was funny as hell.

Norm is a good sport and has a great sense of humor.
The 2 regulator system sounds like it might be the best system, But the best gun is only 1 regulator. I'm wanting to be able to shoot slugs for longer range but is it not possible to shoot pellets with accuracy from same setup

I got a new 700 mm Superior barrel in 22 caliber and it has 2 holes drilled in it one regulator sized hole and on the other side 360 degrees under the large hole is a small hole . Any ideas why it is machined like that ? Utah air is definitely first rate and is now my go to store because of the extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff !!!

Dang, you guys have over 100k in airguns. I have seen a bunch of your videos, love them all. Looks like your making some good booze in the background there? Thank you ray!sorry i do not know that for sure. If i had to guess id say around 1:45-50 though based off of the other twist rates i do know
@@68Whiskey thank I found that the 357 cal is a 1-45 superior liner the only liner out at this time for Goliath.
@@raymachado44 that makes a lot of sense
Your thoughts on compact 5mm .30 vs .25 ?
I just don't see the reason to get the small bottle. 30 only to end up needing 6 inches or more of moderator.
Would be interested to see one of you get the compact. 25 and not run moderator.
Otherwise I feel like I'm better off with a 600mm and bigger bottle etc..
Its definitely a personal preference thing I really like that compact in .30, but I ordered mine in .22 I want to keep it as small as possible and run the small bottle and a tanto. No matter what, one thing is for sure, the compact feel very different in hand and is not just another impact. i really dig it, but i was skeptical at first
Not watch it all the way through, as if. Have you not noticed Hollywood is closed? This is all we got... Keep it coming! Seriously, TY for the big game answer/lack of/shut down of topic. I’ve learned a lot today with this video.
I hope one day I could shoot with the three of you upstate.
Can you tell me what I need to do to my marauder gen 1 to enable it too shoot slugs up to 150yds.?
I have a marauder from steve that he lets us play with, but we have only shot pellets through it. Im sorry im not more knowledgeable on those guns, but i know a lot of folks on airgun nation forum shoot them I bet they could help you better than I could.
@@68Whiskey what would be a good upgrade from my avenger that I could possibly shoot slugs with?
Is the 25 cal superior liner better than the slug A liner for slugs? Or heavy slugs? I think the A liner is good for slugs and jsb heavy pellets? I am mostly interested in heavy slugs at some point in the future.
the new 25 cal superior liners are better suited for slugs than the older slug a the older liners work just fine but the superior is..well superior easier to tune
@@68Whiskey Thanks
Hi guys! So you are saying, if you want to go in and out of a barn and shoot, the crown and wildcat has an advantage with the wheel. But if you shoot at one day in a barn and on the next farm outside, would you tune an impact back and forth? If yes, is it with only the valve adjuster above the bottle even if it takes a little more time than clicking the wheel? Does it do the same thing? Thank you!
It could theoretically do the same thing. But no thats not what we are saying, and its not what we do. We find when we get an impact right where we want it we dont want to touch it again. Not that you cant, but it takes about three times as long as just flicking the valve adjuster wheel on the wildcat or crown or dreamline for that matter. We really like those guns for barn shooting. I inly bring the impact out to do heavy work, where i expect to take long shots. Thats where the impact shines to me.
Oh, sorry. Second language. Mis-phrased it. I didn't mean to say YOU are doing it that way. Yes, I understand you keep an Impact specific for a task and don't touch it. I wanted to ask if it is theoritically possible to do it that way? I don't want to sound like I'm whining, but in my country, salary isn't that high so I can own 14 guns. I'm really pushed foward the Impact because there are so many aftermarket accessories for that, so if it's possible I'd rather take the increased setup time. The whole point of that modular barrel system, and all the adjustability. I'm not planning to switch barrels every day, but keepeing a .22 and a .25 and use whatever I need for a job. Mostly barn ratting, or pest bird shooting, but not at the same time. Saying that, it would still be nice if I could use the same .22 inside and outside with a little adjustment. Also, currently there is only ONE shop here that keeps FX guns, but only Bobcat, Verminator and Impact. So, "theoretically will do the same" is all I need. The rest is up to me to practice. Thank you for your answer, and all the best for you and the guys!
Thanks Robert, oh i understand. Yes absolutely you can make the gun do multiple tasks if you are willing to play with it a little in between. Adjusting the hammer spring power wheel might do what you are looking for without messing with the valve. Thats more repeatable so i would try that first, and only touch the valve if it wont group well on min power or one of the other lower settings
Nice collection and good video. I prefer the 500 mm barrel for my impact for pesting. I bought another with 600 and 700 mm they are so much more heavy and clumsy. With the new slug power kit and the plenum barrel length has become less important to get your velocity.
No doubt you are right about what you are saying. i still really like the feel of the 700 for long range and shooting from prone,. but i was in heaven shooting the compact walking around for woodchucks
@@68Whiskey I agree the 700 mm is best for long range. Can’t wait to replace my Aztec with a Titan this week
I think the guys who have a pesting business can do some of the best reviews of a gun. But if they never say a gun is bad, (and we know at least one is), than it is "sales". Still, these guys have good information, because they usually use the gun enough to get good groups at 20 yards, (unlike most salesmen). :)
A little further in the vid, I hear some criticisms. I stand corrected. Thanks guys. :)
Oh good. I was gonna say man come on we aint sellin we are talking here!
What’s the brand of the tripods your using to hold those guns in the background
Those were bogs carbon fiber
Thank you man. Just got my first air gun the other week. And watching your videos been a huge help. Keep up the awesome work you do
I'm torn between the dream tac compact and the crown with a 380mm barrel. I like that the crown has 4 screws that holds the barrel in place. Seems more solid than the dreamline. Is this a valid concern? Have you had problems with POI shift in the crown or dreamline? Thanks! Love your channel!
Hey man no issues with either. But the crown is a more powerful rifle even in 380 platform. If i could only choose one fx it would be a crown 380 in 25 cal
@@68Whiskey Cool. Thanks for the reply. Do you know if the crown and compact can both be turned down to say 12ish ftlbs in .22 without playing with the regulator?
