- I love playing cyber dragons. It is my go to deck! I often times try out different strategies with varying cards. Some of the Cyber Dragon support is pretty bad but a lot of also good. In this video we rank which are the best and worst cyber dragon cards in a tier list! Hope you enjoy.
As always there will be disagreements between my choices. No one is really right or wrong. Let me know which cards you disagree and how you would rank them!

I think machine duplication deserves a way higher spot, sure it can get ashed but if you bait an ash before it it's actually crazy, it can set up your field so well
i might have been a little harsh with that card, might have to get moved up a tier
Let’s not forget tht it’s not a once per turn either. Meaning even if it gets ash if you have a second one in hands it’ll go through.

Cyber eltanin is s tier its a searchable nuke but also combo with future fusion targeting overdragon it can have so much attack(I generally get around 9000) (can then cyberload summon overdragon that same battle phase if need be with like 16000 attack and destroying future fusion before it can summon overdragon cause when future fusion destroyed itd drag down what it summoned with it) and it goes great with cyberload in general (a tier) cause you get to nuke field before fusing into rampage and then using herz to add a cyber dragon to hand to summon some way to link summon with eltanin into sieger for three direct attacks of 4200, also clockwork night if you put it in is definitely at least a if not s tier even if not used for fortress still gives a 1000 attack point advantage
Megafleet B? It is a card capable of getting rid of a monster from the extra monster zone, very heavy and easy, it does not matter that it loses the name "Cyber Dragon" because it asks for a monster, not the name, infinity is an omninegation that is removed and attached to attacking monsters and the cyber repair plan looks for any light machine, so it can look for kaiju or galaxy soldier, I understand its restriction but being versatile I see it very low
megafleet is amazing when the opponent plays extra monsters in the extra zone, but if they arent the card is useless.
Cyber repair is good for the reasons you mentioned, however cyber emergency does 90% of what repair plant can do but doesnt require the Cyber drag in GY. That alone makes it harder to use turn 1 or to get plays started. Good searcher but bad starter.

@@nostalgicnighthawk Working on my own Cyber Dragon deck and its mostly based on a gutted/modified version of the Cyber Revolution structure deck. I don't have anything to replace my Zwei atm so what should I get to replace it? And outside of Twin & Nova, where do I start with extra deck?
Malefic Cyber End Dragon has its usefulness. I like how you can search it using Horizon and don't have to rely on it's original archetype. I think what Cyber Machines really need are more chain blockers to extend plays properly. Having extended to the Cyberdarks gave the archetype more options to make plays slightly less obsolete, but Cyberdarks need a main deck monster that's as good as Cyberdarkness Dragon without having to use too much fodder. Meanwhile, Cyber Dragon has stapled some good strategies that are all very good, but it's not unprecedented even to the average player. Definitely has potential, but I think 1 or 2 more waves of support would do the trick. Also, it would be nice to use Laser and Barrier, but maybe upgraded versions of them. There are a few more cards from the manga Hell Kaiser used that haven't been released, but even those were fodder cards. Long story short, the deck needs more chain block and stronger main deck support.
i never considered running malefic however I have also never seen a deck tech with it. I love the art tho! I am really hoping they add something that helps laser or barrier, those are so cool. Yea i think they would need a whole upgraded version. Really hope we see some of that eventually. With all the love for cyber drags I would think konami would pump more time and money into supporting the archetype.
This archetype is my favorite along with cyberdark!

I honestly keep a cyber valley in my deck since i only play with friends and one of them always plays his blue eyes white dragons deck, and since he has that obnoxious jet dragon, there are turns where i only set cyber valley in my field and i get a free draw turn since it ENDS THE BATTLE PHASE (so he cant summon/use jet dragons), its not good but its ok if my hand draw was terrible (my deck lacks cards)

Cyber barrier dragon + inverse universe + limiter removal = otk win, my cyber barrier dragon deck strategy,, nobody ever used a cyber barrier dragon deck ever except me lol
oo that be a funn combo but getting it out consistently might be hard. Cyber barrier so COOL but yea no one plays it. It need some upgrade!
It's only use for casual and with friends, the deck is never meant to be competitive, it's just a fun Idea deck

Cyber dragon Drei and Veir are the best way to summon nova and then infinity so I think there at least B

As a fellow Chad Dragon enjoyer, your rating was hard, but fair. I agree to most of the list, but I would've changed the tier-placing of Repair Plant and Rev System. Reason for that is that Repair Plant is a generic Light Machine Type search card that could fetch you a combo piece or perhaps an out like our mecha Kaiju, while Rev is just a more stricter "1 more body for the field". It works well in certain situations like getting a Sieger with additional protection back, but overly due to it's debateable rivalry with Monster Reborn it's a C for me.
I would also put Emergency in S-Tier, even tho it's more of a low S-Tier. Searches and if it's negated, it sets up the GY and returns back even if it remains a dead card until next turn. But you can use it obviously in Combo with Chimera to quickly change it into a Power Bond. It is also a great Ash Blossom Bait for those that don't read it before responding

I respect the changes you would make, understandable. I was thinkin similar with emergency, since core basicly searches that every time, it should be placed lower than core but might below in S or high A.
One thing i didnt do was rate the cards in rank in their tier. I just threw them in a category. I wish I did that lil different. Emergency would def be top of A for the list

But if you would also introduce a hierachy in every tier, we both know Core, the absolute Gigachad that it is, is the unrivaled King of S-Tier for carrying the entire Deck

Been smashing in the TCG and MD with my Cyber Dragon ABC Therion Spright build.. basically normal core to get to galaxy, ditch the pieces with galaxy, special a piece with therion king, special itself and link yourself to a Infinity, Buster Dragon, I:P, Regulus, Gigantic and either a rank 2, link 2(elf or sprind) etc super consistent, working on a build where I can fit in bystials other than the side since the only sprights I use are the darks and core is useless once you use it for your combos or use it to contact fuse your openings main monster zone or zues depending what they have
If you don’t draw the 3 card combo you still either make a full abc combo with the field spell or end with a couple omni negates and hand traps etc
AWESOMEEE seems like a pretty spicy build with a lot of different options in plays to make. Is there a deck list you have?

Cyber Network can be popped with rampage dragon. When you summon rampage with overload fusion, you get at least 2 monsters summoned (with negated effects though). I think this effect is cool. But as you said its a little much setup and other cards are simply better here..
the card is def coool its just the set up is not worth the payoff

@@etherealhawk i can agree with what u said, the hard part is setting up to get the power bonded rampage. More resources need to go into consistently doing that than going over board

@@nostalgicnighthawk I like thier summoning mechanics and that you can synchro summon from the hand with them, but yeah they have too much restrictions to be good. Maybe one day :)
Malefic deck is good. You can summon cosmic blazar dragon with that deck.
for a cyber drag deck tho i dont see the synergy tho. But in a Malefic deck it probs sweeet

I think the problem with infinity is the negate activation of the effect, and not the effect per se
you think if it was more of a static effect it would be better? I am little confused whatcha mean!
For example we need 1 better boss monster for cyber dragon deck like baronne de Fleur,enforcer or destiny hero plasma to negate monsters and equip 1 opponent monster to your spell zone to boost its attack,

Your seeing these cards wrong. You gotta think how would the cyber dragon deck ply with or without these cards and thn place thm in the categories. Cyber emergency and cyber repair plant gotta be in either S or A rank why I say this is bc I can’t ply cyber dragon if I don’t see these cards in my starting hand. I run 2 cyber repair plant in my deck and it’s really good bc I can search for cards tht I need.
As a cyber player I wouldn’t say cyber network is a failure card I’ve got wins with it cuz I run the cyber fusion card.

I thunk cyberdark needs that support more lol as it stands cyberstyle decks are basically just cyber dragons with some cyberdarks needs more of a balance plus a searcher for machine dupe and clockwork night in cyberdarks would boost their play in cyberstyle

@@Jammermt99 well that's true if you think about it. Most cyber dragon cards are very much just forgotten or not even played. That's why most are just D to F. What I think cyber dragons need is more better cyberdragon names. And or fix the cyberdragon effects. If u think about it if the cards weren't once per turn cyberdragon could be alot better
@@moonzdie6477 both cyberdarks and cyberdragons have that issue tho whens the last time somebody used edge horn or keel as a combo piece in cyberstyle other than to send off chimera whens the last time someone fusion summoned cyberdark dragon whens the last time someone unironically done a cyberdark end turbo same on the cyberdragons side drei vier and zwei are completely useless to the actual strategy the deck using and cyber end and eternity have no real reason to be played either what cyberstyle is a good deck it hits hard and can quickly snowball once it sets up its negates the issue is that its support is dogshit it cannot reach machine dupe or clockwork night which are massive power plays it cannot easily 1 turn cyberdarkness with invasion without a 2 card combo and it doesnt have enough meaningful combo starters it has a powerful end board with infinity rampage cyberdarkness and invasion however getting to it is nearly impossible without straight up putting the required cards in hand hell if they put in the work I could completely see cyberstyle as a turn 1 deck however as it stands its a mid tier going 2nd deck bc it cant access its control options as easily as it should

The card triple tactics thrust works great with cyber dragons and searches pretty every card, also evolution end burst searches overload fusion, and great card, and has overdragon for its art

chimeratech overdragon is really good if used in cyber kaiju inferno build. evolution end burst is great if used in cyber branded build.
you have any deck techs for these? Ill look around online too. I didnt do much searching yet! Going to play test end burst hopefully this weekend with the bois

@@nostalgicnighthawk I'll go look for it and send it. the concept of the deck is simple. it's a 3-way OTK deck but it's kinda risky if the cards are not drawn properly.
summon cydra core, search for either cyberload fusion or cyber repair plant (whatever is missing in your hand). link for almiraj, special summon jizukiru in your opponent side (searchable by repair plant) attack jizukiru with almiraj, you receive 3300 damage, activate inferno tempest from your hand (if you have it). both players remove from play all monsters from their deck and graveyard. if 3x copies of necroface got banished, both players remove 15 cards from top of your deck. now from this point you have 2 choices, end your turn to win by decking out your opponent or since you're still on battle phase, activate cyberload fusion and fuse all your banished machines into chimeratech overdragon to attack for the OTK. the other method, you clear your opponents back row, activate interrupted kaiju slumber to clear the monsters, special summon on your field a level 8 kaiju (gamaciel or gadarla) special summon jizukiru to your opponent side. normal summon cydra core (search whatever card you need). contact fusion cydra core and jizukiru to chimeratech fortress. overlay fortress dragon and your level 8 kaiju to number 97: draglubion in defense position, activate effect. detach material, special summon 2 dragon-type number monsters of your choice. make sure you special summon number 100: numeron dragon and put the other number monster underneath it. activate number 100's effect. detach material. attack goes 9,000 x number of ranks of number monsters on the field (number 97 is rank 8, number 100 is rank 1, total of 9 x 1000 = 9k). direct attack for OTK.

Cyber Emergency is S, it's a starter and having it is like having core (unless it gets drolled). Cyber Repair Plant should be B. Cyber Laser, Barrier and Reflection Unit should be F.
it probs does belong in S, it would have made the distribution more normal as well! But BROO i cant do that to my bois barrier and laser. The cards suck but F is too sad

As a cyber dragon player, i'm disappointed that infinity is only a tier
brooo infinity is awesome. The omni negate is is pretty good and the sucking up a monster is great but i still wouldnt say S. I was leaving the S tier cards for the ones that are insaneee
Cybernetic revolution I think deserves a higher spot if you have cyber eternal mainly because it’s kinda a last ditch effort and once it’s destroyed by anything or end phase you can use eternal to bring it back
hmm i see, i tried to use monster reborn and call of the haunted and that didnt work but I see cyber eternal IGNORES the summoning condition! I didnt know that. Only bad thing is now you gota run these cards instead of other stuff and requires little set up. Ill try it out tho TBH! I like spicing up the deck.

@@ultrasaiyan9987 hmm i LIKE IT. BUTTT does it actually work? I know yugioh text and interactions are weird. Technically there is only 1 fusion material monster that will be in the GY after Cyber Rev resolves. Defusion will only have that one target. So it might not be as good as I think.
The Malefic it's actually good.....when ur playing Cyberdark end build.....to send Cyber end to the grave and the Malefic doesn't matter he only use it's to send Cyber end and a Cyberdark with horizon

@@bettybat5133 yea it forces the negate if there is one, if they dont they FKKKed. I do like running clockwork and the dis-synergy with it makes it awkward at times. Do you run clockwork?

Overdragon is definitely useful, just make sure ur backrow is empty before u summon it. No need for any other monsters either if u can otk your opponent there and then. U can use duality or cyberload so its nuke eff aint that painful. There is evolution end burst which search overload for you and allows overdragon to direct attack as well. Use infinity omni negate to just deal with card eff before u summon overdragon. Use lightning storm or malevolent to nuke backrow. Breakthrough skill negates mons eff from graveyard. Infinite impermanence is useful too.
Everytime i summoned it i forgot about it removing your board so I made a lot of noob mistakes haha. Evolution end burst had potential. That card was fun af to use when it worked!
I wish verte anaconda was around, and that some cyber dragon cards for rush duels made it to ocg/tcg
verte made this deck more competitive. It would be nice for a cyber dragon specific monster with a similar effect as that@@Jake-ih8lp

when people say pure decks it should mean pure konami need to do like cardfight vanguard does and enforce like a clan/nation system when it comes to arctypes

i did a newer video tier list with my fav cyber drags. Sort of more fair to the weaker cards that were rated on this list
I took Vier out of my Cyber Dragons. Vier is honestly bad. The cons of Vier outweigh the pros if you ask me.

galaxy soldier isn't a cyber card... and this is why I don't play Yugioh anymore archetype just don't make any sense or a restriction to it JUST PLAY WHATEVER
