Desean Jackson’s muffed punt return for a touchdown caps off one of the greatest fourth quarter comebacks throughout the 2010s!
It’s arguably THE best comeback of the 2010’S and one of the best comebacks of all time I’d say
The Will Hill blocked field goal game winner is still my low key favorite play. Especially with Mike Tirico's call on the play
The first clip is one of my favorite plays in the NFL! Keep up the good work Savage!
Oof. Music City Miracle needs to be in any compilation of greatest special teams plays. If there are going to be multiple videos in a series, it has to be in the first.
No, we can skip that one.
It’s a tough one since it was a forward pass that was never called back
@@90hjorthNo it wasn’t, the replay shows it was a lateral
@@90hjorth I'm a Bills fan, and I say it was a lateral.
That wasn't special teams though, just a "trick play".
Eric Metcalf? Josh Cribbs? Deonne Sanders? All 3 muffed punts/ returned them for TDs. Metcalf single-handedly beat the Steelers w kickoff AND punt return for TDs in same game. What about 305lb NE lineman NE Pats Dan Connolly 71 yard kickoff return on SNF? Many more.
this is part one of 5-6 part series. Be patient, these plays will be in future parts
@@savagebricksports1 - I see now
I just learned today that terry metcalf in the second clip is the father of eric metcalf
Good video. Roscoe Parrish just flowing through athlete's
That jackson return was some of the greatest on field showboating
He inspired a generation of Madden griefers
I think he was trying to make sure there was no time left on the clock. But yes an absolutely iconic image in NFL history!
I remember the DeSean Jackson play, my mouth was just hanging wide open
You gotta include at least 1 Pat McAfee play in the next one.
Rams vs Saints punt return is one of my favorite plays of all time because that is so funny to watch
Albert Wilson trick play against the Falcons should be in part 2
Dan Connolly in part 2?
yes
@@savagebricksports1 Chester Marcol?
I gotta commend you for having the restraint to not put the Bears double doink in here. You're a better man than I am.
Niners blocked punt for td against GB in nfc divisional
I've long wondered if that Robert Bailey PR TD had any significance beyond what we saw in the highlight. It seems not particularly; here are some facts I can pass along:
There was a little less than 4 minutes left after that TD, but it was the last points scored in that game.
The Rams had a terrible 1994 (4-12), and the Saints were better but still not good at 7-9. The three NFC wild card teams had a record of 9-7. One of those teams (the Bears) beat the Saints, but even if the Saints had won, the 9-7 New York Giants would have gotten into the playoffs instead of the Bears. Interestingly, the Saints won their game with the Giants; had the Giants won, they would have been the only NFC wild card with a 10-6 record.
Robert Bailey scored a total of 3 TDs in his career. He had a pick-six in 1992 and another in his final season of 2001 in his second stint with the Detroit Lions. He also played for two Super Bowl champions, the 1995 Cowboys and 2000 Ravens.
No Dante Hall? No Devin Hester?
3:23 Easiest record-breaking moment in NFL history
Fell like snubbing mcafee's self-onside is harsh, that's definitely a part one play
The greatest special teams play is The Music City Miracle. No one else comes close.
2:58 Only the Browns could lose on a walk-off blocked field goal return touchdown. Literally going from a chance to win the game, to losing the game.
Go vote on my NFL QB poll and help your NFL team's QB win
No Gleason??? Are you kidding me
1:05 Too bad refs missed at least 1 holding call
"Special teams Special plays Special players"
No Devin Hester moments? Wow. L
So tired of seeing that damn Eagles KO Return
Shhhh be quiet
