TK also comes from old school pimping and pandering. He Talked Mike off of a ledge, that he probably has seen mike get on many times. If you notice, he began to do the interviewing, because the focus on him would cause two Alpha Males to continue to butt heads on thoughts. He used the common ground to let mike know that they both had skin in the game.
