Very well said. I liked Kim the best but all were terrific. Polunin's tempo seemed too slow but his jumps and turns were wonderful. Kim is always great and here his elevation and ballon were fantastic. Also I thought his arms were more elegant than Polunin's. Kumakawa is great; he is more athletic and perhaps poses too long sometimes. Thanks for posting.

All three are impressive masters of their art: Polunin flies in his leaps and his assembles are particularly impressive. He could have more expressiveness in this variation imo. Kim is endearing through his charm and ease of technical perfection ALL the way through, and he has greater elegance of style than the other two. Kumakawa is the most original in style and interpretation. He dances with snappy electricity that is so exciting! His incredible strength of control shows in his perfectly held stops in contrast to the flow of his dancing, and here these stops show up as his unique artistry. Bravo to all three these dancers. Thank you BunduBallerina, it is fascinating.

Kumakawa is one of my favorite dancers. He was a Principal with the Royal Ballet for a while before founding and starring in his own ballet company, the K-Ballet. He created his own marvelous choreographies too. I have more videos of him uploaded and will post some more of him soon. Thanks for your interest.

They all have their own strengths and its unfair to compare them imo. The amount of time Polounin has in the air is amazing and his big leaps are just so satisfying to watch (my personal favourite). Kim dances more elegantly and gracefully, and Kumakawa demonstrates more strength although i feel like he could have smiled a bit more

This is a very interesting compilation @ BB - - and we thank you for it❗ To me - - Kimin Kim is an imposing and a very talented dancer. I like his cabriole dèrrieré - - starting at @ 2.09 until @ 2.16 and then - - his grand jeté in attitude @ 2.29❗ Tetsuya Kumakawa is another talented dancer - - for sure. I gazed at Kumakawa intently - - while he danced - - wherein at @ 3.57 he executes - - nice straight leg grand jetés - - and then at @ 4.06 he does - - a single tour en l'air turn - - and a high grand jeté dèveloppé combination - - then on landing - - he executes beautiful multiple pirouettes❗ They're all great dancers - - even tho of course - - I tend to favour Polunin a lot ❗

It's difficult to compare them because the tempo of the music is so ridiculously slow in Polunin's section. IMO, this is a toxic characteristic of ballet performance in Russia which is highly disrespectful to the composer. They're all wonderful dancers.
