Lockpicks rarely break and the locks that are used in Skyrim are known as Bit and Barrel style locks.The skeleton key is simply unlikely to work all locks across Skyrim unless the same Blacksmith forged all of the locks with one lever (internal component) in common.
well the Skeleton Key is a Daedric Artifact that functions outside the confines of physics and reality.. so yeah it dont matter as a Daedric Artifact it can pick any lock it wants to. XD

My dad is, and he's taught me a lot about doors, locks, safes, etc. I find it funny because when we watch movies or shows he often complains and gets mad when the common "bobby pin" used as a lockpick works. You can only imagine how my dad reacted when he found out about the skeleton key and I laughed, having to explain that it's basically magic. So reality physics doesn't apply to the key 💀

It seems so insignificant but the door mods are actually really impressive. Hard not to notice how good they look when you see them up close. Main gates are nice but the city door replacers are my favorite
I don’t know if lockpicks break in real life, but i remember reading a book in Oblivion that explains why they do in Tamriel. Something about how the first locks created were designed to smash your hand if you didn’t use a key to open it, and all subsequent locks included a similar mechanism that will smash the pick if you mess up. Of course, it may have been meant to justify that ridiculous lockpicking minigame

I would LOVE for there to be an Atlantis mod. Heck, i'd be happy with some underwater caves, maybe some lootable, searchable wrecks (maybe with insides that are a dungeon of their own), etc. I think it's WAY past time for the underwater areas of Skyrim to have as much to offer the intrepid explorer (or bored veteran player) as the surface world does.

Underwater mods >,> you can't fite normally underwater it has to be pearl diving type of mod(this material is so rare in game this really should be a thing)and maybe crossbows mod for underwater combat. I've seen a mod that adds monsters in sea but you fite em on dry land :/ We have ship mods it should be like assassins creed black flag type of shiz.
There's a mod that lets you swing a sword under water. As well as jump and swing at the same time. Though it's an entire behavior overhaul and you can't have animations with the skeleton it uses.
