Over here you have to watch for freezing in winter..Of course you probably would be melting ice and snow and boiling water anyway. Not a lot of free running water here in the winter. Hi Andy and Wendy,😊 good to see you again mate , good tips for cleaning filters, I'd watch out for some types of non perfumed bleach as they can contain soaping agents that might taint your filter, personally I'd use MILTON sterilisation liquid made for baby's bottles, at least that's safe for use on drinking and eating equipment, and should do the same job, forgive me if you already know this, is not meant as a criticism as I value your input to our knowledge. I don't need no filter at the moment, the snow is pretty clean unless it's yellow 😂. Will be seeing water again in he landscape soon though. Great little how to video mate. Great to see you again.

Congratulations to the winner. For all the times I flushed out my Sawyer ive never even thought about using bleach in my clean water to help sterilize the filter. Do you happen to know if the bleach will shorten the life span of the filter membrane? I personally don't think it would but I'm not 100% sure. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
