Why wouldn't you just upload each photo as a pattern, change the letters to a print and cut and apply the pattern fill to the letter. That way no slicing or changing letters to pen etc is needed
Did you know you can fill SVG Designs with photos?

What if the slice feature doesn't show up? What do I do ?
Make sure you only have 2 objects selected, then you should be able to slice.
Why can't you do this on a laser printer? What happens?
