Thank you, I am very artistically challenged
I can see

I'm autistically challenged
@@non-existent_charlie i approve of this message
@@non-existent_charlie im just useless tbh
the reason you put yellow is because in the reference, there is warm bounce light coming from the sun's light reflecting from below off the concrete. same with the "blue-ish tone" its ambient light coming from the sky, this shows up in shadows mostly and functions almost like a fill light. light and color theory, it will help you understand where the colors come from.
tysm for this!!
thanks mario
I will just always keep gushing about how pretty your art is 🥰 thanks for the tips, mighty helpful as usual!
:)))) You r amazing
fyi for beginners u can make practically any brush a glazing brush by lowering its opacity (and also adjusting the opacity if u want more intense Gaze). personally I like 50% opacity. also using color settings like color dodge or overlay is another option to use to glaze (depends on what you r looking to do tho)
also having brush options is nice but for beginners all you really need is a round brush and an airbrush

Very useful thanks. The way u kept saying GLAZE is having this lesson stuck in my head for good now
Glazing is king
omg as i’ve slowly improved, i’ve been doing this a little bit but didn’t consciously know what i was doing or why it looked good??? but GLAZE ugh chefs kiss 👩🏽🍳💋
bro i love this man his art and his personality makes his videos 10x better
:))))))
I love the way you described glazing. Really felt motivating to hear that stuff is unique to you on how you decide things and make your way through painting
You actually teach art than those artists saying they teach art. Thanks for this
Alright that's one of the best tutorial video for digital art, really enjoyed the video and learnt something to improve at ,and got a little inspired too for my next video :)
The glazing method is so relieving
What do you mean by that 🤨
I watched this despite nailing lava scenes and sunset scenes and blue lit scenes with the typical color picking technique, but god this technique is gonna make it so much better. Thanks!
I never color anything, ever. I am just drawing and sketching nonstop. I think this video is already too advanced for my afraid-of-commitment ass
Innit
For such a casual delivery, that was actually some of the best instruction I’ve gotten on coloring.
2nd video I've watched from this channel, your art and humor is just *chef's kiss* I just had to subscribe maaan
bro your improvement is crazy, i love how youre always sharing as well. Thank you.
:) thank YOU
One of the best coloring videos, thank you! I want to draw right now
Love your channel ❤. Your shorts are approved by Sam, too! That’s really great!
very chill video, i liked how you said you should learn but also make it yours, that was pretty cool
I’ve been drawing for years but I rarely color so thank you this helped me a lot
Great tutorial, really amusing and amazing painting at the end it looks amazing!!!
wow I can see the improvement from each video! keep it up man! I'm from Canada too so I totally related with the lunch money thing lol
Love you video, the jokes memes, commenting and the editing makes it good plus the amazing drawing makes it perfect. My first video seeing you and already made me to want to subscribe and see more ^^
❤️
Thank you for the tip!
I will make sure to glaze all over my paintings from here on out
I learned absolutely nothing due to how artistically challenged I am, but love the humor. It's a good watch.
Love your artworks its amazing this is one of my favorites 💖😍😤🙏👏😱
this helped me sm thank you!! 😭💕💕 is it possible to have a tutorial or mini tutorial on how you did the lighting / blur in the hair? i struggle with that especially on procreate but it adds that extra chefs kiss of idk like realism?? also just all the little details in the bg you can spot even with the blur is so good!!
Thank you :D! Will try and upload a short on it!
Definitely gonna practice when I get home, THANKS
Thank you so much! I've been searching for a tutorial for so long that isn't just "Five tips to improve your coloring!"
As an autistically challenged person, I find detailed explanations much better than simply telling me what to do.
You're a life saver! :D
And yes, I totally agree with the whole bullying yourself into submission thing. IT WORKS
Not even challenged but disabled as an artist who gave up years ago, I stayed for the editing and humor. I may have learned something but probably won't ever use it. But yes, 10/10.
Even if you don't draw a lot in the present, I'm glad you are still here apart of the art community! That's what matters to me :)
Speechless for your unique style.
7:54 "and it end ups" 🎉 the green scary owl would be proud of you 👏 🦉
bro u made it look so easyyy :(( great job!! im challenged to learn how to color! keep up the good work my guy! SUBSCRIBED!!
Holy shit that looked BEAUTIFUL
Artistically challenged is such a perfect term for me
You’re really funny and educational. This really helped. Def subbing
7:00 that “naw im shayin” got me lol
It made me smile. I'm really having eternal energy to start again✨💫
"shooting colors in the dark" knocked me out LMAO
Awesome video man. I've been grinding digital art as well and my coloring suck a**. But we getting there 🤣

🥲 wow thank you, means a lot :))
@@tazakartwoah I want to tell u that I really look up to u as a great artist and insanely funny teacher please don't stop spreading art knowledge for the noobs lol
Nice video! I appreciate you sharing your method of coloring (which looks very nice btw!) but I want to point out that glazing actually refers to coloring on top of a grayscale drawing using blending modes. You essentially determine your values in grayscale first and use an overlay/color/multiply blending layer on top to color your drawing. But the term glazing also makes sense in the way you’re using it as well. Not trying to hate on the video or anything, I just wanted to point it out in case anyone was confused.
Bro's the Glazing Guru
oh man i learned so much from this one video! thank you❤❤❤❗
This is the funniest art tutorial video I've ever seen. Super entertaining. This is also the first time I've seen one of your videos, so you better believe that "I'll be back." (Read in Arnold Schwarzenegger voice for best value.)
On a different note, I'm colorblind, so I'm finding the whole coloring portion of my art career extremely challenging. Tryna figure out some kind of hack to give my art good coloring...without...being able to see most colors. It's a doozy of a problem, to be sure. Might have to stick with just black and and white or grayscale stuff as my 'style'. *sigh*
Great video, sir!
Thanks for teaching me how to glaze
Thanks for this tutorial. I’ve had procreate for 4 years but still can’t do digital for shit because I never practice. Maybe I’ll be good when I put more than 5 minutes of effort a month 😅
ive been doing glazing for YEARS and i never knew what it was called 😅
ILYSM U HAVE RLLY HELPED MEEEE
NO PROBLEM :)
I will glaze all over my artworks after this.

ty for helping me glaze all over my art koolaid!
would like to know how you get those references
i try to find them but can never find good ones
Search up @tazakart on Pinterest, and you should be able to see my profile and find all my boards
I just subscribed. I didn’t know you use an airbrush to blend…it.looks so much better than the Gaussian blur😭 these videos help a lot, tyy. Hope to see more videos soon. Also does anyone have any more tips for finding my art style??😢 ty
Oo i learned something new! Thanks g
O jeito que ele humilha é diferente... estou apaixonada
that thing about colours muddying as you draw is because the default settings for photoshop use a physically incorrect calculation for mixing colours. change the settings to enable gamma for mixing rgb colours.
sir, i'm following your advise, thank you for being a lightbulb 👌🏼
WOW, thank you!
Thanks for the helpful tips! (I did not process a single word)
That's pretty nice reference
Thank you ❤
I am a cartoon style artist watching semi-realistic Artist makes me realize they are Brutal but depends how GLAZE their art styles for example Juicy Semi-realistic Art = Something suspicious Spicy Artist.
Glazing😩🌈🔥
I think I got inspired!
that's the goal !
Thank you for the video ❤️ 💖
thanks I don’t know color so this is perfect
np :D
Did he really skip the colouring of the entire hair 😭😭 bruh that was the best part of the piece
artistically challenged is crazy 😭
Bro be glazing through
I just suck, thank you for the better terminology
I like your coloring style, it really catches my attention. I like oil paintings so that's probably why i like your vibrant colors, but i would have emphasized the shapes that the light would have created on the dress, the skin and the hair of the girls to make the painting more three-dimensional.
Try to make harder shapes if you want.
Ah yes perfect video for me
You've helped my smol brain thank you
omg thankyou, im decent at sketching, i used to do it in class so i never really used color, switched to digiral and i was horse shit at it. im going to glaze EVERYTHING I SEE from now on. drawing might be fun again since now i have a chance to actualyl make something that looks good and not 4th grade level horse shit.
goated vid
0:27 why did this remind me of the "YOU NEED TO STOP" meme😂
Thanks dude
