I have blonde hair now but my natural hair color is super dark brown and I had the same feeling lol
You can get little clip in strips of extensions that you can add to your hair when you plait it. Adds some dimension to your hair in plaits without loosing how super shiny and sleek really dark hair can look when it's loose

For me I found out that heat tools were more damaging than bleaching (even though I used heat protectant). I stopped straightening my hair and did not stop bleaching but my hair is so much healthier!!! My hair used to be so brittle and I had tons of breakage but now it's soft and bouncy with very little breakage, if any. I haven't added any moisturizing or oil treatments either. I know everyone's hair is different but I just thought I'd share what worked for me. Great video 👍♥️
Thats amazing! Such a great example that everyones hair is different! My hair is the total opposite! It hates being coloured but is okay with heat styling. About 4 years ago, I really damaged my hair from bleaching it, my curls had zero definition, and I actually transitioned to healthy hair by straightening my hair all the time, doing weekly treatments, and skipping on the bleach! It's crazy to say that I transitioned while using heat, but it totally worked! Now I am transitioning back to healthy hair by trying to hold off on both bleaching my hair and heat styling it! hopefully it works🙏🏽

The way french braids were explained to was that the strand of the braid that is by it's self in one hand is the one you add hair too, or the next strand your putting in the middle is the one you add hair too.

I just bleached my hair too. The color looks a lot like yours. I honestly think I just didn't communicate with my hair dresser very well either. It's my bad. She brought up to blonde near my roots but I did tell her to bring it up and didn't specify how much. 😣

I honestly have no idea what the iron is called, but I believe it's a 1 inch barrel. I've had it for about 10 years now and the name has faded off of it, but it's one that I have picked up from sallys beauty supply!

Omg I have the same problems with my hair! I'm mixed so I have soft smooth American hair mixed with frizzy African hair. So my hair gets so frizzy and dry and there are literally no products out there for girls with mixed hair! Like if you have the same problem so I don't feel alone :[
It is so hard to find products for mixed hair! Stick to moisturizing products and hopefully you'll find something that your hair loves!

All of these hairstyles can be done on short hair! They just have to be adjusted to your length, and you'll have to use a lott of bobby pins to hold down those fly aways!
