They are giving subcutaneous injections, and you're not supposed to remove your hand completely off the pt just in case the pt moves.
If this is an intramuscular injection then it should be placed in the deltoid of the arm. The students seem to be placing it on the tricep which isn't ideal for IM injections.
These are SubQ with normal saline. 45 degree angle. Tricep.
Looks like a Sub Q not an IM

Wow they're going in so slow. Why aren't they aspirating??
For routine injections in the deltoid or vastus lateralis muscles, aspiration is not necessary as the sites do not contain large blood vessels.
You never know, it's always good to make sure.
These are SubQ injections, no aspiration necessary.
