Merchants in China's Yiwu get ready for delivering Christmas gifts to the world

  • Known as "Christmas Village", about 80 percent of the world's Christmas decorations are sold in E.China's Yiwu, one of the world's largest small commodities markets.
    And with a mere five months to go, time is of the essence for global clients.
    Customs data shows Yiwu exported over 65 million U.S. dollars-worth of Christmas products from January to May this year, up more than 16 percent from 2022, with peak exports still to come.
