Your ingenuity never fails to impress Mike ! And getting one of your many, many projects finished 😁 The sound of the stumps leaving some roots behind..... awsome 😎 And the rain and hail finish on the paintwork...... unique 😂😂
Nice work. I just finished a crane for the back of my 2500 Chevy. Some square tubing, a couple of old angle iron bed frames, some pipe and a small Harbor Freight winch and I have a way to lift heavy stuff into my pickup.
The 363 mile long Erie Canal ran from the Atlantic Ocean via the Hudson River to the Great Lakes. To remove the stumps for the canal they used several devices, one was similar to yours and pulled by Oxen. Which was similar in concept to the wheel. Shalom/gw
We took an old two-person saw blade and welded a small i-beam down the edge of it. Then welded the ibeam end onto a SSQA plate. attached that to the front of the tractor. You just put the saw blade up against the base of the tree..as low to the ground as you can stand. and you jog the tractor back and forth while steering the blade gently deeper into the cut as you make the sawing motion. We cleared 5 acres of scrub trees that way.
I like it. I’ve used a tire and ran the choker chain up over it and it pulls the stump up as the tire rotates back towards my winching vehicle but I like your frame stump puller.
Leverage, leverage, and leverage, and if the doesn’t work use leverage, and maybe a snatch block hooked to the leverage, turns the little machine into a hulk of a machine. I like having projects waiting for me, and yes a couple aren’t done “YET” but hey, they’ll get done, its just later than sooner, thanks for the tag along with ya video sir.
I was thinking just today that I have to do something, other than cut them off, about these darn little maples that are all over a place by my workshop. I came in here now at supper time, and got on this 'Tube to see if somebody's brain is more active than mine. Well, here we are. This looks to be just exactly what I need. So, tomorrow I'm going up to my 'shop and build one of these 'pullers' too. Thanks for this, I think I'll subscribe now and see what else you have 'Kleeman'.
Hey Kleeman, I am caught between many unfinished projects. I am retired now so I can’t use the not enough time because of work excuse. I just have to own up to procrastination. I have made a stump puller not quite like yours but the principle is the same. I;had an old steel 4” gate post and had a car wheel rim cut in half, to allow the post to pivot. I may regret that as it could slip. I had some old weld on eyes which were welded at the top of the post. They will take the shorter chain for tha stump and the longer chain for the tractor. Your show that in principle I shoul achieve a similar result. I’m waiting for paint to dry and harden before I give it a blast. Your property seems quite a relaxing environment.
Have you considered putting a kickstand on the front of it so it stands upright while you are hooking it to the tree you are pulling? And maybe just a couple of hooks on the sides near the top so you can wrap the chain around it for storage?
Yes you do have a bunch lined up Captain. Or since this channel is just “Kleeman” should we drop the Captain part and call you Mike, Michael or Mr. Kleeman. Asking for a friend.
I hate seeing so9meone using a grinder with one hand. My son who's a welder was in a confined space and couldn't use his face sheild. The ikicked back and tore through his face from the bottom of his lip to just above his eye. he was rushed to the hospitlal where he got 35 stiches to his face. He went through 6 lazer treatments to try and repair the damage. His face will never be normal
Why pull straight up on the stump ??? Pull horizonal first.....tear half the roots off one side at at time ! Pulling straight up.....your pulling against the entire root structure !
A welder is one of those things we've never owned. If i throw a few hints at my man, do you think i can get him to get me one for our 20th anniversary?
"Finishing projects?" That's possible? Holy cow!
Bonus points for using RED paint...... It will make it easier to figure out where you left it last time it was used
Exactly!
Your ingenuity never fails to impress Mike ! And getting one of your many, many projects finished 😁

I love those welding crocs.
Lmao! He will figure it out soon!
It’s great to see that finishing projects doesn’t leave you stumped. 🤣😂
#dadjoke #badjoke
Good one!
Nice to see somebody obeying the law of the lever.
I have to say...absolutely amazing to see you finish a project. You and Diesel Creek rarely, if ever, finish a project you start.

Mike, you understand mechanical advantage and make it easy pulling small trees with their stumps out of the ground. Blessings to you.

Very cool! I saw them building a replica canal boat last time I was in buffalo
Nice. A second channel for the vids I miss on facebook. And rockin the safety crocks. Love it.
Basic fulcrum principles… I love the way you utilise physics in your daily life… top guy, top videos thanks Mike.
Appreciate ya watching

Up pull and out nicely done ✅
💪
Man behind the scenes, dirt perfect Aaron is jealous of those welds!😂
Lol
A car wheel without a tire stood upright and the chain over it works the same way.
Nice tree puller. Your innovations absolutely killed me, i'm quite impressed. Love the channel😊
@@richparks1966 I have watched his channel for a long time
I started pulling trees out too, brush hogging them is quick, but here in the Northeast, in a few years, they grow right back. Nice contraption.
I bultt someting like that for pulling someone out of the mud, it lifts a little to help get the wheels out of the hole.
Most people grossly underestimate the power of leverage.
Howdy Captain
I joined another Kleeman channel.😊
💪
Hello from the Netherlands Kleeman .
thanks for the video Mike .
Sincerely Hollandduck
My list of projects always has 42 items on it. With 84 on standby LOL
🤣🤣 relatable
So here I am spending my holiday weekend and was very confused when I stumbled on to this channel…. Thanks for the video
Appreciate ya watching Paul
Great video kc
Thanks!

I see you have your safety crocs on! lol Like you say run what ya brung.
noway this is safe captin
Slick...added to my build list - thanks!
💪
Great video Captain Kleeman

I'm not a welder, but I've watched welding videos.
I consider this to be a welding video.
Nice job Mike!
Thank you
Your stump puller works great, and you don’t have much in it
Thanks Allen

I just lean it against the tree
does the weather man ever get it right in your area 🤣😂,great video thanks for sharing 👏👏👏👍👍👍
Not once lol
Love this format. 👍🐝🌞
Thank you
@@Kleeman1And the original ones are always great. 👍🐝🌞

Enjoyed the video and the new channel. Congratulations
Thanks!
Neat looking setup Captain Kleeman. 😂
Thanks!
Wow, smooth Outro 😅
🤣
Finishing projects, well that’ll never catch on.🤣👋🇬🇧😀
🤣🤣
Finishing projects? That’s possible? If it works out maybe I will try that sometime.
It's overrated
Mike you're that guy who invented the hula hoop or the guy who invented the pet rock. Genius
👍👍🔧🔧
I’m not a welder, I’m just a guy who owns one…….classic!!!
🤣
And just know those crocs are steel-toed as required by someone. Lol
🤣
its a catapolt

It exists
This a new channel Kleeman ?
Yup!

Hay instead of stump puller can you make a politician pull ???? Country has gone bat shi? Crazy
Buy a chop saw! Damn!

I think it's worth the effort. Just start clicking on welders on his face on market place to train the algorithm
