Guys please thumbs up, comment and share that's all I ask 👍
I do like this band, they get a lot of stick for being musical magpies, but they're okay IMO, even if some of their lyrics are questionable - "slowly walking down the hall, faster than a cannonball"? What?
Good choice!
Kasabian-LSF ✌🏻♥️🏴
Best band in the world...bring on the reunion ☝️
@@ItsTerryTime Have you seen the way that John Lennon wannabe twat walks?
It's the most glorious walk one could imagine! What a legend!
Oasis - Slide Away. Imo their best song!!!
God I love that song!!!!! For me though, Supersonic
100%
@@dantastic6262 Supersonic is a great tune (and the only song I can remember the actually circumstances of first hearing it!). Personally I love "Columbia" off the first album most.
@@pitmatix1457 classic!!!!!
@@pitmatix1457 What a great album!!
The lead singer: Liam Gallagher, loved the beatles and loves John Lennon. His first born is named after him 😊
Lennon Gallagher
@@diarmuidwall9605 Liam Gallagher, his brother lead guitarist Noel also had his own band called High flying birds worth a listen. Liam's role model was John Lennon
This is why I always felt spiritually connected to Liam, because I feel the same about John (hence my nickname ^^). In fact, I feel the same about Liam 😅 It goes beyond pure matter, there's something so deep that connects me to these people that I will always have them in my heart ♥️
I totally forgot that I named my cat Lennon ^^ Such a great name!
Haha, awesome! 😅 I mean, it keeps the man and his message alive somehow - probably the very thing we need right now ♥️
Oh, this sound is so 90s💕. I miss those days in music.
Same! I was just transported back to my teenage years listening to this.
Two words...THE MASTERPLAN. If you want to know how good Oasis were listen to it and realise it was a B side.
Great song. Make sure he avoids the video though! It's a bit of a pointless distraction to a great song.
@@neilsun2521 I like it though as it is a shout out to L.S.Lowry
The Masterplan is freaking amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Don’t you mean Definitely Maybe
Ye but i think he should listen to supersonic or live forever
Oh man the nostalgia is kicking in, remember listening to this as a teen without a care in the world great song ☺️👍
Cast No Shadow - Oasis is a great one to react to!
Leads you nicely onto the god that is Richard Ashcroft 😍
Best concert I ever went to was Oasis in 98! They killed it.
Those were the days
You're very lucky
Think I saw them at Wembley Stadium in ‘98... Well I know I saw them at Wembley Stadium, I think it was in ‘98
See, I went to the farewell tour and it wasn't good. The lads were great, but weirdly there was no atmosphere in the arena which ruined it 🙁
Saw them twice utter brilliance live, that was the best way too experience them, Also seen Noel Gallagher solo and Liam Gallagher solo, both great front men in their own rights, but no getting away from the fact Liams voice is perfection and defined an era.
Years back, I never fully got Oasis, then a friend lent me his iPod, big at the time, and good headphones, my mind was fully opened to the genius that is Oasis. 🎧
This pleases me
yeah, when they were popular, i couldn't stand hearing them. i'd turn the channel when they come onto the radio. but lately i've come to appreciate them & i sang along with this entire reaction video. (with THEIR accent: "champagne supahnover n the skeyeee...") 😂
This may be my favourite song. The peak of britpop. And you’re bang-on with the lennon vibes - liam was a massive beatles fan. The lyrics are somewhat incomprehensible - even noel, who wrote it, said he doesn’t really know what it is about, its more the sound that matters,
Writing songs while you are high will do that to you.😂
This tune gives me chills every time I hear it.
Slide away oasis is a must ✌❤
Do "live forever" :)
It’s Coming soon :)
@@JayveeTVReacts Yayyy!
@@JayveeTVReacts Cool. Maybe avoid the videos though. Both the US and UK versions are a bit crap, for such a good tune.
Do slide away tooo
Not even started watching but thank you one of my favourite Oasis and brings me lots of good memories. Another amazing band, from same part of England same era are The Stone Roses, think its maybe the only one of many favourite bands of mine you haven't reacted to. "I am the ressurection" "Sally Cinnamon"
And back in those halcyon days I thought it was just another day in Manchester.
The world really turned to shit since then.
Great response, we were blessed with all music genres back in the 90's and this is a true gem amongst them.
On the Stone Roses comment below, try Elephant Stone or Made Of Stone.
Keep on enjoying music.
90s music was amazing, with some amazing bands. blur, oasis, verve, pulp, suede, to name just a few.
Lead singer Liam LOVES Lennon. He named his son "Lennon" lol
Awesome song, great reaction. Lots of memories. 🇬🇧✌🏼 Beatle-esque. Liam’s son is named Lennon.
No one can really interpret their songs. They never gave explanations for their songs because sometimes, yeah... They were high 😂
well they are undeniably influeneced by the beatles.
I like your comment
@Sean Behan did you even listen to this song? It’s completely carried by Liam and listening to others as well he takes the band to another level…
without him this song is nothing.
REM was the same but if you really listen to this song it sounds like it's talking about life going by too fast and going through the motions and people you used to know, just for it all to eventually come to an end
All around the world!!! Oasis! Perfection...
My personal favourite song of all time!
Great track, with the legendary Paul Weller as guest guitarist. Check out his work with the Jam and the Style Council, as well as his extraordinary solo career. (To get a sense of how Oasis was influenced by Weller, I recommend "Hung Up" from his Wild Wood album, which came out a few years before this. And listen to the title track of Wild Wood while you're at it -- gorgeous song.)
Also, Oasis drummer Alan White is the brother of Steve White, who was Weller's drummer for many years.
Wild Wood! Yes!
Fuck, I grew up with What's The Story and always loved The Jam's singles, and I never even knew! Thank you for sharing, dude 🤘
I never liked a single Jam or Weller song sadly, find him terribly overrated
As a guy from Manchester, I can tell you the Champagne Supernova is a beautiful thing..
Should check out "I'm Outta Time", a later Oasis track (2008, their last album before split-up). Super good and dreamy ballad,
the song is also a tribute to Lennon an features a short recorded Lennon speech. The music vid is magical
The album that song is on "What's the Story Morning Glory" is A+++ from beginning to end. Never gets old!
Love watching your reactions to Oasis!!! My all time favourite band ❤
This song was so awesome, my favorite from Oasis back in the day, I always thought of it as kind of a Hey Jude for the 90s
i’ve been waiting for this react 😭😭 please do “Stand By Me” by Oasis next ❤️❤️ or “D’you know what i mean?” pls 🙏🏼
Swerve 'D'you know what I mean?'
@@EnglishforFOOTBALLFANS why? It’s a great tune
@@neilj6322 dont swerve d'you know what i mean, incredible tune
@@howiefeltersnatch3600 I know, I said don’t swerve it
You should react to The Verve, another English band from this era. Songs: Another Velvet Morning, Bittersweet Symphony, Lucky Man. I really enjoy your reactions!!!

Damn...didn’t see that one! I’ll watch it now.
@@windlizard30 No Sonnet?
@@Wesker1984 my wedding song, forever a favourite.
@@Wesker1984 That whole album is pretty fantastic. Urban Hymns is one of those albums I can listen to from beginning to end and really enjoy!
I'd forgotten how good this was (I was obsessed as a teenager). Try Muse 'Supermassive Black Hole' as well.
One of those songs that touches your very core and transports you away for 7.30 minutes.
I hated Oasis when they were big here in the UK but since they broke up and they are not being forced on me via radio/tv, I can appreciate how talented they were.
Everybody saying do this Oasis song do that Oasis song.. DO THEM ALL! Best band to grace the planet.
Oasis is amazing, I was blessed to see them live, before they broke up..
Thank you so much for delving into the world of Oasis ♡
Oasis' biggest influences were The Beatles. They dressed like them and sang like them. They even wrote there songs like them! Not in a bad way it just means more good music!
was gonna say that they borrowed a lot lyric style wise from the beatles, especially in Don't Look Back In Anger
@@Bekka_Noyb Exactly. Not only the intro of Don't Look Back in Nager clearly being Imagine, but the "Start a revolution..." part of the song is one of the last quotes by John lennon before his death. It also references his week bed in with Yoko Ono in 1969 in protest if the Vietnam War.
They settled several cases out of court for their many plagiarism attempts, not only the Beatles they stole from...
@@SatanDynastyKiller Exactly
"it just means more good music" 👍 good way to put it
If Oasis ever reformed
It would be like the second coming in the UK❤
Love Oasis, my wife to be took me to see them in 1997 at Cardiff International Arena, EPIC! Love Wonderwall & Cast No Shadow... Wonderwall used a Melotron as did The Beatles for the intro to Strawberry Fields.......it's the Cello like sound.......
I used to love to get high to this song, and just sit back and melt into whatever chair I was sitting in!!!
Still get High to this song like 20 years on bro
@@taylorosborne3383 Same.
This song has deep meaning to me my friend and I would listen to this album and song specifically when came out, he had a awesome view of the mountains In British Columbia Canada, we get drunk and high listening ... he died in 2012 from a overdose, this song always brings me to tears because I think of those days with him, rip jay froese.
Champagne Supernova is just... perfect
If you dig Oasis man, check out The Stone Roses. They were one of the most influential British bands of all time....especially in Manchester. Start of with I am the resurrection, made of stone, I wanna be adored. Incredible band!!!
That's the next port of call for sure
Natural progression then would be solo Ian with F.E.A.R
Fools Gold
i wanna be adored the best one
The Stone Roses saved British music from the horror that was the late 80s music scene (stock aitken and waterman anyone) and were a influence on most of the britpop boom and the Gallagher brothers were both huge Beatle fans and never hid it,their first album is a true classic with every song a banger as the young'ems say
that's back in my days....the good old years....Awesome Music
Please react to Stop Crying Your Heart Out by Oasis
That's what I said lol :D
ONE OF THE GREATEST SONGS OF ALL TIME!
Got to do Don't Look Back in Anger
This and The Masterplan are majestic. Music simply doesn't get any better than that.
Oh, thank you so so much for doing this song. I love it
YAAASSSSSS!!!!!!! Oh my goodness MY FAVORITE by oasis!!!! You’re right, Jay! It is very hard to sit still to this one. Listen to it LOUD!
So many great Oasis songs. Would love to see your reaction to:
Stop Crying Your Heart Out
Don’t Go Away
Don’t Look Back In Anger
Don’t Go Away is my second favorite 😻
People say try this tunes try that tune,... I say, pick any, oasis don't have a bad song.. They were awesome!!!!!
Unbelievable song. Oasis are worshipped in the U.K. Especially up north
This song just takes you there, you just dont know where. That's the beauty of the great mystery. You find yourself, lost in it. Good jams!
This was the anthem of my youth, being a girl who was born and bred in Burnage Manchester where oasis are from. Fun fact I went to the same primary school as both Liam and Noel and there mum lived in the same council house for years just round the corner from my childhood home.
Love the melody and the big crescendo
top reaction. from Manchester, 35, Oasis were one of my childhood sounds. My old man would have them on Saturday mornin before we went footy. Still listen to both Liam and Noel so seeing someone just hearing these tunes is mint.
OASIS is well known for having a Beatle-esk Sound... Which... IS just Fine With Me : )
My favourite band of all time. A fan as a TWELVE YEAR OLD in 1994. Heard 'Whatever' for the first time and i was hooked. Liam was an incredible frontman (sadly ruined his vocal chords with endless smoking, drugs and alcohol) and best of his generation. Noel Gallagher - just a pure legend and genius. Hero.
Dude if you want more Oasis - Masterplan, Some Might Say, Shakermaker, Columbia, D'ya Know What I Mean?, Don't Go Away, Talk Tonight, Hello, Flashbax, She Is Love, Little By Little, All Around The World, Supersonic, Go Let It Out, I'm Outta Time, Lyla, Whatever, Live Forever, Don't Look Back In Anger, Morning Glory, Listen Up, Half The World Away, Live Forever, Rockin Chair, Rock N Roll Star, She's Electric, It's Gettin' Better Man, Songbird, Who Feels Love, The Hindu Times, Slide Away, Turn Up The Sun, The Importance Of Being Idle, Don't Stop..... for starters anyhow 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🇮🇪❤👍🏻
Oasis never disappoints💕
Your appreciation of the music and lyrics is refreshing to see. Keep smiling :)
This song has so many layers: sonically and poetically.
Lay Down, headphones on, close your eyes and let the spin begin, pure magic.
I think you’re gonna love The Masterplan by Oasis. It would give you a chance to hear vocals from Noel Gallagher, the songwriter, lead guitarist and brother of the frontman Liam Gallagher
This song reminds me of all my friends how I lost a long the way, here is to the 90's and our party day's.This is for me their best song by far.
Legendary reaction, legendary band
I have to be honest ur the best reactor cause in my opinion you appreciate what your watching and listening to and you’re chill I can relate to you. Some reactors are like ehhh and most others are craaazy lol thanks for the uploads man
Hi Jay, love your enthusiasm and understanding of songs, Oasis are fabulous aren’t they! 💖💕
From a similar period in British rock/pop music then you should also check out 'Motorcycle Emptiness' or 'If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next' by the finest Band to come out of Wales, the mighty Manic Street Preachers 😍 they supported Oasis on their big gigs at Knebworth and Maine Road in '96..and still going strong to this day, in fact starting work on a new album for 2021 release which will be their 14th. 👍👍
So glad you're reacting to more Oasis : D I strongly recommend 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out,' my favorite Oasis track n maybe Let There Be Love😊✌ Thanks so much for all the work you put into your effort in discovering more n more great music:) Keep rockin, brother🤘🎸✌
Damn bro, you’ve just named my two favourite Oasis tracks right there. Are you a Coldplay or U2 fan by any chance?
I'm 41, I was 15 when this song came out, it changed my life. I picked up a guitar, I learned to appreciate music. For 26 years this is still my favorite band. Check out anything by Noel Gallagher, his new band and all the solo/acoustic stuff he does is great also
I needed this song right about now.
Fucking love this. Wish I could hear oasis for the first time again
Great song to chill to. Some Might Say is awesome as well. A lot of Oasis songs honestly don't have much meaning to them. Sometimes the lyrics are just nonsense. Other times they can get pretty deep.
This was recorded in the first or second take by Liam Gallagher. He was immense in the studio as he was live!
Please don’t say things like “I wasn’t even born yet!”, it makes me feel ancient! 😂😭
I was getting high to this song, the first time around.
no u
Hahahaha, I was just born but don't worry about it, at 27 I now completely understand and resonate with my parents when they said 'oh is this your Pokemon game' or 'is this that Brittany Spears you all like?' because anything super new and popular that I don't know about or care about, I just chalk up to 'it's probably that Billie Eilish the children like' so we're all ancient in a sense here :p
Lmao right.
I love this song. Always have.
I love all genres of music....one of the 5 best ever.
I grew up with Oasis as my soundtrack during my teen years and they made life better. As a 39 year old man it makes me so happy to see the younger generation enjoying their music.
I have never taken drugs, but the lines "slowly walking down the hall, faster than a cannonball" make me feel what it would be like, just perfect. One of the best songs ever. Check out "Not an addict" by K's Choice.
Oasis put out some really great music.🤩
British people are basically born with all Oasis songs pre installed.
Randomly play one almost anywhere and you would have a crowd singing along
I'm American but I've known a lot of Oasis songs since they first came out when I was 3 or 4 years old. My mom is a mega Beatles fan therefore it's only natural she's also very much an Oasis fan. So I essentially came pre installed with these songs too.
Such a fun song!!
Wonderwall.......too!
The lyrics are just lyrics and don't have any meaning - they just sound good. The more cryptic the more they are open for interpretation, which adds to the mystery and allure of British bands.
Agree. Noel was stoned when he wrote most of the lyrics. Don’t read too much into them.
There is so many tracks i like from this band. Master plan, whatever, live forever, some might say just to name a few.
Liam's influence is John Lennon, very well observed! Don't forget Richard Ashcroft (lead singer of The Verve), he was also massive for Oasis. You're also right about the ending too, every song on this album ends similarly to jump into the next track, musical geniuses that don't get the credit they deserve IMO!
And definitely check out The Masterplan
I'm 50 years from Boston, still good looking American/Irish man lol..I like ur reviews alot and I appreciate what..Every song u play, I know..Oasis was great in early 90s..Thanku for what ur doing
Haven’t heard this in forever! Great pick and reaction. Thank you
Brilliant choice J! I haven't heard Champagne Supernova for so long so I really enjoyed hearing it again at the same time as learning your thoughts.
Sometimes I get tears listening to their songs because it takes me right back to one of the best times in my life ❤️
Great song, fantastic how the intensity builds as it progresses.
Super handsome! Love how he enjoys music 🎶 😌 ❤
Such a classic
One of my favorite songs.
This is the song that ends for 8 minutes...
Love it...
This album reminds me of my young adulthood. I was 19/20 when it was released. I had moved out on my own (well with best friends/roomates) at 18/19 and we were just young gals, starting adulthood. young, working and having fun. This cd (and of course many others) blasting from my room. I would sing this song top of my lungs in shower while getting ready for work hahaha.
Me and my 5 friends used to go to a street in my neighborhood and smoke weed together in my car and play this song while we hot boxed on a weekly basis. I miss those guys... That was about 9 years ago and now half of us have passed away or moved on to bigger and better things. But the time moved faster than a cannonball that's for sure. I miss those simpler days... R.I.P Danny and Logan. Always thinking of you two. 💙
Loved sharing with you. This was great 🥰
One of the best songs from Oasis is Slide Away. There is a video with subtitles which is the best version. Liam's voice is incredible! Surprisingly the song was never released as a single.
Noel said Slide Away was considered as a fifth single but he ultimately refused, arguing, "You can't have five singles off a debut album."
You actually said it right the 1st time! Champagne Supernover where these guys are from!
An AWESOME Modern "Wall-Of-Sound"...!!! : ) : ) : )
Great reaction as always bruv 👍👌
