    Cutting speed
    Cutting efficiency
    Weight
    Charging time for a 1P, AP100 & BLI100 battery.

    I appreciate that you you show areas where the Echo isn't on top - naturally it will not be as powerful as the larger Husqvarna, and it didn't cut as much wood as the Stihl. It makes for a fair comparison where the consumer can weigh each saw for their own merits. Bravo.

      Thanks for the compliment. I try to compare apples with apples, of course the new T540iXP will do it faster than these 3, but there's a huge weight difference between these models. There are some rumors that stihl comes with an MSA200T so when it's there and I get my hands on them I will make a new one with MSA200T T540iXP and maybe a new Echo Top handle Chainsaw. And I agree, in the end it's always the customer who has the final word. :)

      @@JanMaesOutdoorTraining Late to respond but I am very impressed with Echo in the past 5 years - I run everything from the 2511T to the 7310P and a few in between for my tree business. I am very excited to see you mention a possible new top handle! The 355T (362TES) is my go-to, but an updated model would be amazing! A bigger battery saw is also intriguing... Cheers.

    Thanks for the very neutral and straight-forward video without useless chat :) Do you have experience using the echo while climbing in trees with regard to weight and size? Looking for a saw which doesn't annoy me climbing big trees while helping me cut those 1 or 2 branches that are just a bit too thick for my handsaw. Currently, I'm using the T540ixp and often find it too bulky and heavy.

    Bought the Echo for down wood around camp sites. Just wish batteries were less expensive.

    wow. the echo battery saw cut just as fast as the echo gas saw. very nice. also came in at the lightest 2.9KG. They don't sell it in my country though (USA)

      Their catching on. Just bought one. Tough to leave the fan base of Stihl or Husqvarna.

    Is the efficiency test how many cuts it will perform on the one battery? Echo looks great but there specs list battery run time only 18mins.... cheers

      @JanMaesOutdoorTraining  Před 3 lety +2

      Hi Parrish thanks for your comment, 18min run time with 3/8 and 22min with 1/4 chain. check also the charging times at the last stage of the movie. :)

    This efficiency is with the Echo LBP-560-100 batery right?

    • @JanMaesOutdoorTraining
      @JanMaesOutdoorTraining  Před 2 lety +2

      Hello Candy Flip, that's correct, the DCS-2500T can only Handle the 2Ah battery due to the want to keep it as light as possible for pruning.

    I prefer the Echo, as it is very light for in tree use. When I need serious power in a top handle, I bring up my 362tes or my t540ixp

      So you're saying that buying the echo for climbing big trees and cutting a branch here and there is worth it? Currently, I always have the t540ixp pulling on my harness and I find it quite anoying. I'm longing for a lighter and smaller saw...
