I would say 100% of those leaving negative comments couldn't play Smoke On The Water or Iron Man on their best day. I know this wasn't a perfect solo, wasn't suppose to be. I had just learned it a few days prior so... I'd say I did pretty good on such short notice. Thank you again for the kind words!
Well it's been out for several years, cost around $2000 these days. I guess thats affordable, at least compared to the Fender ones that came out years ago costing $25,000. Yes I would recommend this guitar. It plays great and sounds great. As with any new guitar, a good setup is needed.

Keep practicing dude, I started around Thanksgiving of last year and I can absolutely shred, I listen to music to keep me motivated, considering modern music takes no talent, it inspires me to shred, Keep rocking brother!
those tapped harmonics are the bane of my life.. would you say you had a particularly high gain tone to get them or is the guitar and pickups suited to make it easier?
Honestly it all boils down to practice. I had just learned the song a few day prior and didn't have it down well. I can hit those tap harmonics now much easier months later after recording this. I would like to redo this song a little later down the road to use as a progress guide. And my tone was really harsh and brittle but I had some new equipment and was kind of experimenting.
I do still struggle with those tap harmonics though. They plague me and make me sweat when I know they are coming up in a song. Some people hit them like it's nothing, it's always a struggle for me.
@@timhawkins2859 Tap harmonics in the beginning of the solo are easier to reach with half-step down tuning :) Try to tune your guitar this way (difficult on a floyd rose ahah) and play the solo with the "real" backing track you'll see the difference ! Anyway, it rocks ! Congratulations from France ;)
Was that the Blackstar amped 1 ? What delay did you use? I saw a video on another channel they reckon Blackstar copied the Bluguitar amp circuit. Jennifer Batton who was Michael Jackson’s guitarist uses one
My best advise for any guitar with a Floyd Rose system is crank everything down tight. Your locking nut, tighten it down tight! Not to the point of stripping it but till it just won't turn anymore. Same with the tremolo saddles. Crank down the intonation screw at the front of the saddle as well as the allen bolt at the end of the tremolo to tighten the strings down. These are all key and very important to keeping floyd guitars in tune. Good luck and thanks for watching my video!
Thanks! I was actually playing through a mic'd Marshall half stack in another room. I just threw this behind me in the video as decoration lol. I know, cheesy right lol! I'm just starting out with this whole CZcams video thing. We will see how things improve as I go along this journey.

Slower
