I can’t wait to do these. We are on total lockdown in New Zealand, no stores are open except for groceries. I’ve got everything I need for this and can look through my rock stash. Then I’m gonna put the rocks in mailboxes in my village when I take my doggie for a walk. We are allowed to go out for a walk once daily as long as we keep 2 meters distance which isn’t hard in my little village. Nice way to spread some cheer. Thanks. Perfect timing for Easter.

Just wanted to add that I’ve just done one..don’t have any tape, but blue tack works great. I’m probably gonna do this for all my rocks now. Thanks for the idea.

Where did you get the egg shaped rocks
They are out of stock now! Sorry. These are the only small stones I have purchased so I can say they are good for painting amzn.to/2xrGlDE (affiliate link) they are gray but you could base coat them white first.
