  • Construction is a major cause of pollution, both in terms of greenhouse gas emissions and waste creation. Technology design group Mogu is working on a green alternative, partnering with nature to grow biodegradable interior design materials.
    Mogu collaborated with engineering company Arup to develop building materials, like acoustic panels and floor tiles, grown from mycelium. Mycelium, the systems of root-like fibers that supplement most types of fungus, colonizes organic waste and turns it into exceptional and sustainable designs.

    I've been trying to figure out how to construct the cast for the water bottles. I know this is the future. I don't wanna be left behind. How can I contribute? I am passionate about this . I'll work for free, or maybe room and board. I have experience, I'm aware of the process. Please reach out. I'll do sales in my region . Thank you for sharing your experience

      Allergic reaction from mushrooms come from spores. Mycelium or mycelial mat DOESNT have spores.

    I'm trying to make lightweight structural materials so that we can make life size or near life size Gundams that can support their own weight. you think coating this stuff in carbon fiber kevlar would be enough? either way more to the point how would I start doing this at home?

    • @kingmasterlord
      @kingmasterlord Před 2 lety

      heh, how's that for creating awareness? I'm deadass serious, you point me in the right direction and I'm going to start growing Gundams.

    • @HeelTaker7
      @HeelTaker7 Před 3 lety

      @@adamharris5003 what’s your point? So because everyone’s first language isn’t English there is no need to put English subtitles on a video that is posted on an English speaking channel aimed at primarily English speaking people when the person who they are interviewing is hard for English speaking people to understand not only due to the accent but also the terrible audio?
      That’s some strange logic there and an unnecessarily rude way to express your lack of logic.
      Ah YT commenters. 😍

      Totally agree, anyone who is even slightly hard of hearing would struggle a lot with this video.
