THE FLORAL DANCE (Moss) Grimethorpe Collery Band conducted by John Anderson

This RCA Victor compact disc features the music from the Miramax film 'Brassed Off' which highlighted the troubles faced by a colliery brass band following the closing of their mine.
It stars Pete Postlethwaite, Ewan McGregor, Stephen Tompkinson and Tara Fitzgerald.
The film is set ten years after the year-long strike in 1984-85 by the National Union of Mineworkers in Britain.
The music is performed by the Grimethorpe Colliery Band conducted by John Anderson, with original music by Trevor Jones.
This is 'The Floral Dance' (K. Moss) played as Bandmaster Danny cycles through Grimley to take charge of the night's band practice.
