So happy for you, I love seeing others get so excited over art supply's, you have been so lucky, obviously very good over 2016 to get such an awesome present. I have the 120 set of Polychromos but I think there must be something really special about getting the beautiful box set, I've always loved the look of Faber Castells boxes. This is really great!You can be very happy! I used the Faber-Castell Polychromos since my school time. I got a great present in August,the Polychromos 120 !But your box is amazing!I am very satisfied with my birthday present, and Faber -Castell is a very old company with wonderful products!

I'd like a nice milled aluminum box instead of wood, personally. Cardboard and stamped aluminum is kinda cheap for what it is, and "hardwood" is ok. Looks nice n fancy. I'd just get nervous messing up the finish. And when everything fits so nice and neat, I'd probably never use any of it just so it stays new.
Like lol I got one of these when I was a kid, like the plastic one that we all had- and I never used it! I was so bent on keeping everything perfect that I just recently, 19 years after getting it, started using it.
Tommy Ohlrich I understand that, I have the 120 polychromos woodset and for me it is really hard to use. you don't want to sharpen the pencils bc the set won't be perfect anymore
Oh i dont use some of my pencils because they just look sooooo beautyful in the way they are stored

When I was in college I got myself the 48 Prismacolor set. It’s even cheaper now, very affordable.

you know that next month the Faber-Castell sets and all will be coming in our country for the first time in quite a long while so watching this video made me a whole lot more excited to buy them and spend my money on them, but I guess I'll go with just the pencils' set just to save money, although they didn't say how much it costs yet. CAN'T WAIT!!!

For those of you who are into this, there is this certain feeling. It's like finding the holy grail. My heart beats out of my chest. It's like all 1 would EVER need.... This would be something I would LOVE to have.
I got nothing for christmas, but that's normal for me past few years. I don't even get anything for my birthday apart from a day out with my best friend. This is probably due to the fact that after my mom died in 2012, my family ignores me, and my dad got remarried, but he doesnt have any contact with me either anymore... Sometimes I wish I had my mom back. My mom would actually always get me something. I'm sure she would have gotten me a cheaper version of this, or would have spoiled me by going to the art store with her and giving me a budget.
Anyway, You are 1 lucky woman, Hope you'll have an awesome time with these =D In the meantime I'll save up for 1 =D

I'm aware they have several ranges of artware, ranging in quality and price (thought they only made pencils and water based textas too BTW!)
