    Gonna be attempting a sub-3 hour marathon and a 3-lift total over 1000lbs within a week! Currently at 925lbs and 3:31 (hard course). You've inspired and helped me both create and pursue this goal. Thank you Fergus, keep up the excellent work

    Just signed up to my first race (a 10k) in over 23 years hoping my knee heals in time, followed by a 10km swim a month later. Onwards and upwards for this 59 year old.

    Epic work 💪🏼 I am training for my first marathon in September, however I hit a bit of a snag with a knee injury (patella doesn't like to stay in it's groove) and so I'm a bit of a "nervous Fergus" myself after missing 3 weeks of my training plan. Basically I am doing the marathon to prove what my body is still capable of after it has been slammed with chronic pain and fatigue from previous cancer treatment - it's a very important goal and I will complete it if I have to crawl across the line! Easing back into running now (with the guidance from my physio) but keen for any advice you may have about what to do with the weeks I have missed since I know I need to build up again a bit and can't jump back into the mileage that was expected on my next week of my plan. Thanks for all the great content, really happy I found your channel 💖

    I got back into running in March and signed up for a 50k ultra at the end of July. Having only ever run a couple half marathons a few years ago, some days training I feel ready and other days I wonder what the fuck I got myself into, usually the latter. But I am confident in myself and love a challenge so here’s hoping 🤞

    Congratulations on yet another amazing feat!
    For this year I want to do an olympic Triathlon (my very first, set to do it in september), a sub 2 HM, for the endurance side. Strength wise I want to do a 200% body weight squat, and 80% bodyweight bench press. We'll see how it goes!

    Ran my first 100k ever last weekend with 3700m of vertical gain. Injury free and feeling better than expected. 10/10 would do omnia strenght + 100k again

      @@MikeNolan59 Start managing your feet well in advance of race day. I started lubing my feet with vaseline before bed everyday 7 days out (slept with cotton socks to avoid greasing down the place) and during the race. Have a pair of dry socks at every drop bag, or carry an extra pair. Only got a single minor blister during the entire race.
      Lube absolutly everything prone to chafing. Everything.
      Start slow. When walking, walk with purpose. Eat, even when you dont feel like it.

      @@MikeNolan59 Working towards 2x bw deadlift, missing 20kg. Progress is slow but steady.
      Also returning to a previously DNFed 50 miler next year🤌

      50 miles oocha, the folk who do 50 and 100 mile races are just built different. Maybe one day I can get those ticked off.
