Oh my god. Yes they use chemicals! Water is a damn chemical. You mean to say they use “an all-natural, biodegradable carpet and upholstery cleaning solution that doesn't contain any soaps, detergents or harsh chemicals”.
If you've moved in to a new home and start feeling ill, you may want to ensure there isn't a gas leak, carbon monoxide leak, high rain gas levels or contaminants in your water system. These are all components you can not see not smell yet will make the body extremely sick. Look in to it please.....
@@hope4fur130this is what i came to say! the last apartment my bf and i lived in had a serious mold issue. it had been painted over by the landlord, so it didn’t become visible until well after we’d moved in. it was in the HVAC system, behind the walls, in the popcorn ceilings, under the floor, everywhere. my bf is extremely allergic to mold, and he started breaking out in hives and wheezing after a few days of living there. i didn’t feel the effects until later, when the mold became visible. we moved after the lease was up, but we had to throw everything we owned away. it’s crazy that the landlord hid it so well during our initial walkthrough.

I know you're convinced of this cat thing. If you make an appt with an allergist or even speak to your primary care, they will tell you that old cat hair in your home is definitely not causing allergies. Also, cat hair doesn't cause allergies it's their salivary glads and skin glads that excrete a protein that causes allergies in humans. Cleaning os wonderful but just know a cat allergy isn't the cause of their sickness.
I'm thinking she's making it up cause if she's allergic to cat stuff why isn't she having breathing problems or be sneezing and such I know cause my niece is allergic to cats and dogs and she would have breathing problems and runny nose and sneezing and such..
Yes! Take them off at the door please. Want socks? Here is a bin of different kinds just put them in this bin when you leave. Thank you! I am too poor for slippers with the amount of guest I have at times so socks it is.
And this is another reason why me and my fiancee tear out all carpets in our rental and instead we put flooring that can handle everything (and it would be our luck to have a tenant with severe health issues, even the insolation on one of them had to be redone, it was a smoker house and we had to redo the whole inside, and with house in some of the walls we said fuck it)
If you have carpets, you will always have mold and dirt. It doesn't matter if you clean them or you have them professionally cleaned. The fibers are designed to capture particles and hold them for you to clean up.
I’m allergic to mold, and some of our carpet got flooded, so it had to go. It was so easy to pull it up ourselves that we just pulled up all of it and that saved us enough money to have professional reflooring done. Non-carpet flooring, thankfully 😂. Best of luck!
Hi! Re commenting this here because on the original video I had commented this on people were saying rude things: My momma taught me how to clean the bath jets, we fill up the water in the and tub and scrub the inside with cleaner and a toothbrush 😊 (I did forget to mention to run the water with cleaning solutions before and after!)
Cleaning the ducts will help too - would recommend changing out the type of filter to a hydroelectric type which will collect more stuff plus they remove the static electricity. They are also nice as you can clean them off with the garden hose and shake the ecess water off before putting them back 😊
Tip for vacuuming to get the best results, go SUPER slow, as slow as using a carpet cleaner. Should feel kind of a suction when pulled back. You get 10x the amount of dirt and hair up. Had a rug that always looked like it was covered in dog fur. Did that and it filled the canister twice! Going slow slows the brushes to actually get into the fibers to pull stuff up.
I was always told to carpet clean with the cleaner in the water the first run, then do rinse cycles until water is clear. But air purifiers are always amazing too! Also, a vacuum that has a water feature that makes all allergens stay in that canister and not reblown in the air helps!! Having the air purifiers running, especially when cleaning all air vents/air conditioners/ etc. That way, whatever dirt/dust/dander isn’t staying in the air. My cousin had bad allergies from similar situation until they went through the list above. I hope this helps! My toddler and kids have dander and dust mite allergies and this significantly helped them, too.
Get a bucket fill it with water, cleaning product/shampoo for cleaning the carpets, mix it well and some vinegar, then start cleaning the carpets using a cloth. Dump it in the formula and scrub the carpets. Then use a damp clean cloth to get the foam out 2 3 times
You could try spraying the carpet with a lot of fabric softener. It should soften the fibers of the carpet when you then steam clean it or if the cat hair will come out
I recommend cleaning the air ducts and getting a purifier, as someone with cat allergies. I'd get the carpets professionally cleaned if the problem persists or I'd just outright plan on eventually removing the carpeting because carpet fibers hold onto all kinds of mold and dirt and dander. There isn't any way to get rid of it except to remove it entirely, unfortunately, even with professional cleanings. This is just coming from someone who assisted my father remove our (supposedly very clean!!!) carpets as well as has pretty severe cat allergies (unfortunately because I love cats)
Fun fact: people who are allergic to cats think they’re allergic to the fur but in reality you’re allergic to their saliva which costs their fur when grooming and the fur flies off as they shed contaminating your air
I would check your vents and make sure your furnace filter if they are getting sick, try the air quality, and check your furnace filters cause it's not always dirt in the carpet.
Pay for the vents to be professionally cleaned out and just rip up then replace the carpet entirely. Its gonna cost a lot but its necessary to get everything fully clean for everyone's health
You're either gonna have to rip up the carpet or get it professionally cleaned. If you have an agitating back massager, it should bring a lot of debris to the surface
If you rent, you should talk to your landlord, especially if your family is constantly sick in the home but feel better when they leave. It could be many things but carpets are horrible for anyone with allergies. If you own, at least take the carpets out of any bedrooms. Odoban will kill any cat smell and make it to where you feel safe laying on the carpet. Also a Kirby vacuum is amazing for pulling dirt and hair you didn't even know was in the carpet. I have tested my 20 year old Kirby against a brand new shark and the Kirby picked up so much the shark left behind I couldn't see. Good luck sending prayers your family starts feeling better.
Would you say that carpet cleaner is worth it? I’ve wanted one for some time.. but I know they’re not cheap so if it can’t handle like an entire carpet would you suggest going a different route
If you’re still trying to clean the jets from the bathtub you should try to clean the pipes that connect to the tub it might be a lot of work but if you guys could do it it should have the jet clean hope this helps!!!
If that cat smell isn't gone after all that deep cleaning there is only one reason. One of the cats sprayed the walls. In some cases the drywall has to be replaced.
I recommend getting a vacuum that's called Kirby it is such a great vacuum in my opinion because I have 2 Bengal cats and I swear just by vacuuming a throw up or other stain it takes almost the entire stain out of the carpet leaving only a hardly noticeable color change
Get rid of the carpets. You will be amazed at how much filters down to the subfloor that neither a vacuum, nor any type of cleaner will ever remove. Animals will use any type of carpeting to relieve themselves which will never completely come out and will contribute to a mold issue.
honestly you're probably better off getting rid of those carpet and in areas where your kids play you can get those mats (idk what they're called) that you can stick around the room
