Very nice work. I have been thinking about working with leather for the last little while as well.
It was a nice little project as I remember.
1) I never thought about lacing wood to leather .I've used contact cement and brass wood screws with washers .
2) You did everything with hand tools NO POWER TOOLS.

(Please use a mallet , because you are damaging your tendons in your hands and that would be a great shame , because skilled craft men like you are very rare.) Apet Owner thank you. The leather is flexible craft leather (2mm) I got from eBay . I also wrote a article on the bag. Links in the description. Hope that helps.

All that work and we can’t actually see what you are doing. It would be good if you changed the angle of the camera occasionally.
