Aight. It's finally here. Here's the first hour plus. I am using Wise over Belle. Will be playing this till i beat 1.0, so expect a ton of zzz videos as I finish the story. This is a Gacha game ?
One thing that got me into genshin is how enemies don't feel like rocks. This is the best feeling in the world when you just make enemies fly, throw them off the cliff, feel even the smallest impact from punches, this is amazing! Animations are essential for these type of games imo.
Ok, what does that have to do with Zenless though?

1:25:17 probably the only one. Anyone else get absolutely shook here? Compared to the CBT they really made this moment sound more ominious and frightning as youre getting hacked.. one of the things I enjoy about the game is the special effects and sounds you get when something happens.
Seeing the squad members abruptly disconnect made me think I made a horrible mistake.
Yeah, It took a while for my phone to load the screen when it happened. I kept thinking "What just happened??"

poor intro. Simplistic combat. Pacing constantly disrupted by dialogue, comics, combat. Gacha game. Idk about puzzles.

I'm not talking about teen that skips classess and find a way to kill time. But I guess that's exactly their target with ZZZ.
HSR is annoying at times. I can imagine this being even more annoying.
Genshin throwing 100h of unskippable dialogue and daily grind was what put me off.

Animations look slick! That battle around the 55 Mon mark with that smaller chick with the chainsaw like blade looks cool how they made seem like it's too heavy for her and it's grinding into the ground. It looks weighty for her. And the pause when that dude is kicking looks sick. I also liked the beginning battle with the guy that holds two guns. The switching between characters for like a tag team looks interesting too. Just seems a bit too wordy of a game for me to dedicate almost 20 GB of storage for. I think I saw like 3-4 battles in the first hour. I'm sure tons of people are gonna love it though
I am enjoying this game, I specially love the cut scene and the comic type scene. It just suck that my pc can not handle this game, so it would end up ruining the cut scene and comic scene to me. That is why I am here, lol.
There was this one time when there was no sound during what I consider a very epic scene, I wanted to cry. ಥ‿ಥ

It's stylish and polished looking to be sure, but somehow nothing about it is really grabbing me the way the previous Hoyo entries did.
the dungeon screen by screen gameplay is a borefest imo. Combat is ok but gets somewhat repetitive as well. I'm just looking forward to the bosses. Animations are top notch

For some reason, I can’t help but really enjoy the characters.
Previous Hoyoverse games often used the character template from mainly Honkai Impact and put some minor physical changes in along with a completely different stories and personalities to fit the universe they reside in. The prime examples is Raiden Mei and Raiden Shogun or Honkai Impact Bronya and Star Rail Bronya.
Here in ZZZ, the characters feel genuinely new rather then being some alternative version of another character. This makes this game feel completely different from the other Hoyoverse games.
I swear I’m getting Dante vibes from Billy.

Nah I prefer an actual mmorpg and probably the biggest is a character customization. Making a character from star ocean or other sci-fi games like dead space would be perfect from what ive seen but miss opportunities for outfits and dyes...

Combat feels really repeptive and boring… 👎👎👎
The animation in of the character models in cut scenes was very well done...but the narrative put me to sleep. I don't know what it is with Hoyo and their inability to explain things to the audience before dropping nonstop terminology, but it's worn thin on me. I could barely get through the opening without skipping ahead a few times, all the while hearing them going on about hollows. As cliched as it is, an "as you know" does go a long way.
Honkai star rail had this same issue in the beginning when I tried it, but at least the puzzle-esque turn based battles of "trying to stun lock your foes and not get hit" won me over quickly. This feels like it's just going overboard on style to make up for a lack of substance.
Hope it gets enjoyable for those who stick with it.

What's wrong with a feminine or gay male character? If you don't like that kind of mc, then choose the female mc in the games with feminine male characters/MCs. Or just don't play the games at all

Billy looks very boring to play, just shoot shoot shoot and shoot. Also they tried to put Sephiroth in this game but they couldn't due to copyright issues, so they just made his hair black and made him tanner lol.
This game has hands down the worst combat and one of the worst uis I’ve ever seen
