Many people these days have a hard time sharing what is on their hearts! Why? Because the hurt is just too hard to let go of. Here’s the real issue….too many “Christian” “friends” are incapable of empathetically expressing any type of support for a grieving widow and therefore I’ve grown accustomed to keeping my words to myself and share them only in private prayer. I’ve heard, “Everyone is hurting,” way too many times and it seems that superficial “Christians” are the only type warming the church chairs. The compassionate care of suffering souls which is directed at James 1:27 is NOT fully discerned until you’ve experienced the “tribulation” as a widow or orphan. Does your church ever discussed such a ministry as a local community need?
I’ve visited countless churches in the past five years; none of which have expressed any interest in a James 1:27 ministry. WWJD indeed!
No, thank you for the public invitation to (once again) bare my grieving heart. I’d rather hurt at my current status rather than risk the greater probability that, once publicly exposed, my heart will certainly be further ignored and damaged. God knows who and what I need and when he decides to alleviate my suffering, I’ll be blessed. Until then, I’ll pray for the chair-warmers.
I am sure that I was an unspoken request because for 23 years I was in active addiction and was locked up when I redacted my life to God its has been 6 years I'm still clean and an active member of my dad's church never give up pray changes everything

Some times, the pain cannot be spoken. Our burdens are to heavy, and we just don't have the words. I so enjoy Redeemed Quartet music! The day y'all put out this song, my life turned upside down. I am now going through the hardest time that I have ever gone through. I've listened to this song over and over, and it's giving me comfort! All of your songs are so good, but this one was for me! Thank you Lord!

My husband passed away, and 2 weeks later I caught the RSV Virus. The virus attacked my heart, so I had to have a major open heart surgery. But during all of this, there have been some texts which have especially spoken to me and have brought me strength. So I am praying that they will bless you, and will strengthen you as well, as you face your difficulties!!! 🙏❤️ The first verses are taken from Isaiah 40:27-31. "....how can you say the Lord does not see your troubles? ....how can you say God ignores your case? Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint."....
The next is from Isaiah 41:10 and 13:
"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.... For I hold you by your right hand- I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.'"....
The next is taken from Isaiah 43:1-5 which says: "But now,.... listen to the Lord who created you.... the One who formed you says, 'Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.... you are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you. Do not be afraid, for I am with you.'"....
And finally, there is Deuteronomy 31:8, which says: "Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you." Amen!!! 🙏❤️ Those promises are for you right now. Sending you love, and prayer, C. 🙏❤️🫂
