@@Mikehowarth1988 I hear you, but Ten Haag has changed the attitude in the dressing room. Saw that from player interviews.

What i like about Ten Hag, and compared to the others before him. He wants to make the team better. He wants to see which can keep up or not. He doesn't need that big signing for his team, he wants players who fits in his system. He is on top of things, and not walking around like he is the king.
And not a blag artist. He knows what he wants and he knows how to deliver
When united lose maybe you'll change your tune.
When Eric came from Bayern Munich 2 to my club FC Utrecht the first matches everybody was unsure about his coaching qualities. Not long after this we saw the patterns, discepline, positoining, pressing as a team, organisation en pysiche went to another level.

It has been a good start, I like the style that is being implemented. The team looks more fit which is a major plus. Let's keep up the progress. GGMU
Love how calm, cool and collective he seems but at the same time has general vibes.
ETH speaks out like a manager in a big club. Very composed and minds what he says, all these questions asked are good but when all eyes are on him he needs to avoid answering some and that's what he does. Good one
makes sense, he came from Ajax and was coach for 4 years.
So far enjoying what I’m seeing, looking forward to trophies this season, Anthony will be one of the top scorers.
Really loved this interview, finally a United manager that i can watch their interview and actually agree with everything they said.
5:04 She really pronounced the ‘H’ in who here 😅
P.s I really rate this guy, you can just tell he knows his football, love that he’s strict with his players fitness, diet, lifestyle etc but doesn’t come across unapproachable, all these small factors adding up, even against tougher rivals I got a good feeling about the things he can produce
I love how EtH dealt with those question especially the question about who's impressed him most. It'd knly. Pre season and its gonna take some time for this team to get we're they was but if he's backed and given time I'm sure he can do it
He needs to be backed more in the transfer market. United are 4/5 signings away from being able to compete with Man City and Liverpool and Chelsea, across the entire season. City and Liverpool bench players who would walk into United's starting 11 and United start players who would struggle at a mid-table team. This needs to change or it's another season of disappointment ahead.
Also, Mason Greenwood needs to be replaced by a similar calibre player. It's something that isn't mentioned enough. He was one of the leading prospects in European football and now there's a big void there. It needs to be addressed.
He is being backed. We can't fix everything in one summer. That's more fool you if you think that was possible.
I guess you know better

At Ajax in the beginning everybody was really sceptic about him coming to Amsterdam. He wasn’t from the city, he came from countryside, he had a funny accent.. he proved everybody wrong. He did a great job at Ajax. With amazing results like giving Real at Bernabeu the biggest lost ever in the CL. And they’re so close to the final.. we gonna miss Ten Hag in Amsterdam but also everybody wants him to succeed in Manchester and see him bringing them back we’re they belong. United fans will not only love Ten Hag, but they are gonna fall in love with Martinez for sure. When Timber and Antony are ready I would like to see them join United as well but i hope not this season yet. Luckily Ajax doesn’t need the money😅
Wasn't the Real Madrid game a bit of a make or break one for Ten Hag was under a lot of scrutiny leading up to that ? Also, I noticed that he is not your stereotypical Ajax-schooled coach (based on the way his team's play), am I correct ?
@@SeriousBartYT No Ajax history but he did play the way we like to see in Amsterdam. 4-3-3 and always attacking. The game in Madrid took away the doubts that were always there. After that and also kicking out Juventus in the next round made him untouchable but also really wanted in Europe.
@@thijs673 I see. It is impressive that he managed to almost completely rebuild and revamp the side (the semifinal reaching side) in such a short space of time for two reasons : a) None of the players from that side looked as good at their new clubs. b) He managed to achieve this while still winning or retaining the Eredivisie title something Sir Alex was a master of too.
Lastly, they were really unlucky to lose to Benfica in the round of 16 in the last season although no Dutch side had reached the Rof16 since 2006 (excluding his semifinal one ..of course).
It will be interesting to see how he copes with the english press as it is not his first language, is up against some really good managers like Conte, Guardiola and Klopp and he has no experience of playing or managing in england so it might be a cultural shock (like the games during the Christmas-New Year period).
@@SeriousBartYT the big advantage Ten Hag has now is that he won’t have to build a new team every year. Ajax will almost always loose at least two of three players every year. If he gets the time he will build a team as good as Ajax the year of the semi finals. I’m pretty sure he will come back for Timber and Antony. It’s a shame United won’t play Championsleague next year. If he gets United at least in the top 4 next year it will be easier to convince players like Frenkie de Jong and Timber to choose for the United project.
I really wished he was backed a lot more by the club. Also, i am impressed with his improvement in speaking English!
All Dutch people learn to speak English at school .
@@PhilipKerry apparently his wasn’t as good as the average Dutch persons, tbh it still isn’t.
@@hbsblkk3842 I can understand him perfectly
@@hbsblkk3842 ten Hag had to tune up his English because of his accent which is down to the part of the Netherlands he comes from. Imo his English is very good.
@@hbsblkk3842 if you take in consideration that Dutch people you should be the best at english as non native speakers, he is far below the average. Doesn't mean he won't improve, but the pronounciation is so bad :(

"If you're good enough you're old enough." Echos of Sir Matt Busby there from Ten Hag.
Cant wait for the season to start.
GgMu 💪🏻❤.
There are coaches who develop players and those who buy fully developed players. This guy is in the first group. When you develop a player you get him to fit exactly in to your system. When you buy a top player that is already developed, he may not fit that system, or if he does, he may never be as good as he was in the system that developed him. This is very positive.
I hope he gets time and patience from our Fanbase. The match going fans will always be the true fans and support, but people on social media will flip flop on him quickly. He has to get time, and power to squash that player power atmosphere in changing room, and have players who are fully committed.
i wish the boss and the team the best! 🤩

We have not had this kind of professionalism from a manager since Sir Alex. ETH knows how to build teams and plays fantastic football. It will take time and a few players will be lost along the way. We have a few players that can't play this system. The title will eventually come I have that much confidence in ETH. We won't get beaten 5-0 this time. If we lose we will fight till the end.

Hopefully this will be on sky sports retro in a positive light
The difference between ETH and Ralf, erik has the players feeling good, the mood is positive. I was skeptical of Erik after Ralf, the United fans have such blatant double standards with Ole and Ralf. With Ole it was always 'Norwegian PE teacher' with Ralf, no one ever said anything about him being German, yet Ralf had the worst record of any United manager in history. 4-2-2-2, in the PL, yeh right. So Erik has gone in there and immediately made the players smile and feel relaxed. It's how Ole got a tune out of them too.
He needs more players in that he can trust, I guarantee the moment United go on a bad run the same old players will turn on him and the leaks will start again like they've done under the previous 3 managers.
We will undoubtedly fall on a bad patch of results next season, but I don’t think you will see the indiscipline of previous seasons. He has made it clear he won’t tolerate it….this is a guy who is not afraid to get rid of any player who doesn’t buy into the program….he’s done it before.
No one is stepping out of line with him IMO. I wouldn’t be surprised if he benches Ronaldo
He did a longer one with beanyman in the same seat, exclusive 👀
