Right after I purchased my first camera I asked my Mom & Dad if I could practice on them. They have always had such a beautiful relationship and I knew it would be fun to capture their love on camera (I was right). I never dreamed my dad would pass away in an accident six months after I filmed them. This is the only quality video I have of my dad. Every time I watch this video my heart is flooded with thankfulness for the little bit of time I did get with him. This is the reason I love film. A moment, a person, and even a place in time can be captured in its entirety forever. I can watch this video over and over again and it conveys so many emotions and wonderful thoughts about my dad. I'm so thankful God gifted me with this video of my dad. My hope is that I can give that same gift to so many others!
